ochukoccna: @ logicboy, Great thead you started Non the less its a waste of time&effort because the fundamentals you addressed in Islam been violent have spiritual and not logical nor humanistic underpinnings Below is what God says in the bible (a Being& a book you do not subscribe to) about Ishmael whom moslems trace their lineage to. That's why its not just Christians versus them but Jews,Hindus,Bhuddists etc they WILL NEVER co-exist peacefully with As a yoruba proverb says, the venom of snakes reside in their progeny As the bible says, his (Ishmael) hand will be against EVERYone&EVERYone's hand WILL be against him Judge for yourself but there can NEVER BE PEACE with Ishmael's offspring upon planet Earth
NKJV Gen 16:11 And the Angel of the LORD said to her: "Behold, you are with child, and you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has heard your affliction. Gen 16:12 He shall be a wild man; his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him. and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."
NIV version Gen 16:11 The angel of the LORD also said to her: "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. Gen 16:12 He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." h Here lies the answer to their extremist tendercies |

idrisolaide: Well to me i would say why a relationship fail is based on other reason aside pointing out other mistakes.
As an example, am having a date with a girl for 7yrs now, though we both still contemplating on marriage proposals because the both families are widely aware of it. Now i realize the same girl has a hidden relationship that i don't know about and now this is giving me a though time to believe am not been centered. Because at every point i tried to settle thing and make a good reconciliation, something will always struck my mind as i now realize the trust i have for her and her family has been swept off.
So in my situation what do you guys suggest i can do?
I advise you to cancel every marriage plans,if she has another guy while dating you for 7yrs then she will still sleep with the guy after you marry her,but I wonder how some of you fall in love stupidly....what tribe is she??I guess youruba. |

rastamouse: Hey Logicboy...its been quite a while and I am glad that it was rather 'you' and not any of 'us' who brought this topic up. I know many people will be wondering what I mean by 'you' and 'us'...
There is so much division in this world and I think unless those are addressed, this world will never have any tangible peace. Contrary to what some people love to always say, RELIGION IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN THE ONLY PROBLEM. Rather it is mankind's desire to have his way, no matter what the consequence, that has caused all the problems that we have today.
Whenever I read the usual hate-filled posts of Ghanaians vs Nigerians and vice versa on this forum, part of me laugh and the other part wonder if majority of us think better than animals do. In the animal kingdom, it is always 'us' against 'them'. There are certainly no middle grounds. An enemy is always an enemy. A cat will hardly appreciate anything that a mouse does. That is very much understandable of animals. Should the same be true for mankind?
Why would a 12-year-old arab call a jew his enemy or a Christian brand every Muslim a terrorist? Why should you blindly hate someone because your father did? The funny thing is that we find a way to always divide ourselves with things that may not be necessary. Politics, tribalism, race, class, football, religion, school, type of car, language we speak, currency we use etc etc. In all these madness, we have forgotten the most important thing that unites us- man made in the image of GOD! Is this not ridiculous?
Why should we always find an excuse to kill ourselves? Do christians kill |

This is part of what we are saying. We need to be more tolerant. The above inscription is honestly not necessary at all. The original poster who claimed to be an atheist sounds more spiritually sound than the Religious bigot trying to justify the nonsense religious people do with those crappy points. What do you expect if they have nothing to hide I don't think there is a need for it and they are the same people who says all sorts of things against christianity. |

The recruiter is a close pal of yours, and he never told you he was recruiting? What are you telling me?! he definitely must had mentioned it to you, if you are indeed that close. But you didnt bother to tell your jobless friend to apply (he would have voiced out that he already did and you would've been able to get him the job), now you come here and you start saying bs, abeg bundle yourself out of my sight! bloody typical nigerian hypocrite! Family › Re: Being A Nigerian Housewife by goodmike7: 10:41am On Jan 30, 2013 |
IMO,the reason we have full house wives these days is as a result of idleness an laziness in the side of a woman, what do you expect when a man marries you and you have nothing doing,no handwork,no job,no business,he packages you as such, but where I find it difficult is when some men stop their wives from working or doing business and turns them to full house wives that I can say is risky.
So women you must not wait for a man to set you up with business before doing something, start doing something then he will expand or improve on it for you. |

greatgod2012: @ ileobatojo, thank you, one of d reason i cant and wont be a full housewife.
@post, each to his own, what works for A might not work for B, if you think it can work for you and you/your hubby have taken decision on that, then, goodluck, i sincerely wish you well.
But as for me.........its Hell NOOOOOOOOOO no matter how wealtyh my hubby is, i cant accept,,,,,if hes s wealthy, let him equip me and set up my own business for me....in my name.........abeg, anything can happen anytime, we dont pray for bad things but they do happen, so, when d unexpected happens, and im a full housewife, where and how do i pick myself up? Anything can happen, d man may go bankrupt, d business can be ablazed, when it seems things go wrong, im suppose to fill d vacuum, but how do i do that when i have to completely rely on d man for every needs of mine and d children. Why must you always expect negative things befalling your husband, ask job that was the beginning of his calamity, the earlier you have a renewed mindset the better, and who told you your husband must set you up why can't you start from somewhere. You are the lazy woman sef. |
