" _But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death_"- Rev 21 vs 8



*Meditate on this : Truth doesn't cost anything,but a lie can cost you everything*


Lying can be defined as making, a statement that is not true with the intent to deceive or swindle. Also it could be defined as a statement that contains half truth.

It is shocking that 60 percent of people lie at least once during every ten minutes conversation and on an average tell two or three lies.

It is incredible to believe that even believers engage in this dastardly act as well,as we have observed from our bible reading, that Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter.

In RCCG , for instance it has become mandatory for couples to do fertility test, before going to the altar so as to know if both are fertile before joining them together.

Are you still lying? How often do you tell lies to others? How many times have you lied to your boss,parents, spouse, customers, employers, doctors etc.

What about that certificate as well and your visa application?How many lies are in the data you gave?
How many promises have you made without keeping them?

How many times have you promised to call,visit or pray for someone? And you kept your promises


Warning!!! If you still lie consistently and persistently without repentance then you are on the way to hell.

*1 John 3 vs 8b: He that comiteth sin is of the devil : for the devil sinneth from the beginning*........

God hates lies, and no liar will enter heaven. If the devil and his demons were casted out of heaven for their decietful lifestyle, then no liar can enter therein. The verses below gives more insight.


*Proverbs 12 vs 22: Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,but they that deal truly are his delight*.

*Col 3 vs 9: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds*.


Rather the bible says , we should speak the truth in love and the truth will set us free.

*Ephesians 4:15 : But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ*


*Assignment* :
1) Be conscious of every word you speak ,and expunge all lies from your conversation.

1). Father please baptise me with the spirit of truth today in Jesus name.

*Read : Mathew 16 vs 24-27*.

*Memorise* :
" _Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life_"- John 8 vs 12



*Meditate on this : If you follow the truth, and you can't end in error, if you follow the light, you can't walk in darkness*.

It has become pertinent to ask this generation, this question above. Whoever you are following can determine your destination,and eventually what follows you as well.

It is important to note that consciously or unconsciously, you are following somebody. It could be your parent, brother, pastor, politician, actor, celebrity, a sports star.

It is important for this generation to understand that you can't follow *hush puppy* and you won't become a dog.

The bible says anyone who want to follow Jesus must be a sheep and not a goat or dog(John 10 vs4-5).

As a youth while in secondary, school i was a follower of Tupac Shakur.

As a passionate follower i listen to his tapes,dressed like him, knew his date of birth and even believed that he was not dead.

Beloveth, it is either you are following the onise iyanu(the miracle worker)or the onise iranu(the evil worker).

Paul said in the verse below that you should follow him as he is following Jesus.

_1 Cor 11 vs 11: Be ye followers of me, even as i also am of Christ_.

Also the bible encourages us to, follow with patience and not to be slothful.

_Hebrew 6 vs 12: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises_.

*Assignment* :
1) Make a decision to follow Jesus consistently.

1) Father help me to follow you, to the end in Jesus name.

*Theme : Better than before*.

*Read :. John 2 vs 1-11*.

*Memorise* :
" _But the path of the just is as shining light,that shineth more and more unto the perfect day_"- Proverb 4 vs 18

Happy new month, and my prayer for you is that this month will be better than the previous month in Jesus name.

It is a fallacy and a lie from the pit of hell, that things will not get better for you before this month end. Your good can become better, and your sweet can become sweeter. The verse below is my witness.

*Isa 43 vs 19: Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert*.

In our bible reading today, it was established that wherever Jesus is found things will usually get better and not bitter.

In verse 3, the bible records that when they wanted wine, suddenly they discovered there was no more wine without a prior notice or warning ahead.

This wedding was about to turn sour,but the mother of Jesus introduced them to the one ,who could solve their problem.

In verse 7, the Lord gave them an instruction to fill the water pots with water and give it to the chairman of the occasion,and as soon as he tasted it,he discovered that the wine was better than the previous one. What a surprise!!!

According to winemakers, especially those made from grapes it will take three weeks.

But it took Jesus a minute, and the wine was sweeter than the initial one and it was also more than enough.

Therefore i pray for you, that this month will be sweeter than the previous month for you and what is lacking before will become abundant in Jesus name.

In conclusion, as an unbeliever i have tasted many alcoholic and non - alcoholic wines before, and i can tell you that they bring sorrow instead of joy.
But it is better to be drunk with the holy spirit.

*Ephesians 5 vs 18: And be not drunk with wine ,wherein is excess; but befilled with the spirit*.


Accept Christ today so that he can give you the holy spirit.

1) Commit this month into the Lord's hand.

1) Father please let this month be better than the previous month for me and my household in Jesus name.

*Appreciation**.

*Meditate on this : Appreciation makes your blessing to increase*.

Life is a journey, with so many juctions and bends. This junction has various names and varies , some are called roadblock, challenge and despair, breakthrough,success etc.

A junction could mean a major point in life , where notable event occurred in our life, for some it is marriage, graduation, retirement etc.

In our bible reading of today, ten lepers were cleansed, but only one came back to appreciate God for his goodness.

A quick statistics of that event reveals , that is the attitude of all human beings. Only 1 out of 10, came back to thank God , that is 10 % which is a surprise.

The man who came back to appreciate got to a junction, called appreciation and he looked at his body and he saw the difference, and he turned back and gave thanks.

And because of his thanksgiving , his blessing was doubled. Others got healing as a blessing, but he was made whole(Luke 19vs 19) . To be healed is good , to be made whole is better.

Beloveth , which of the two category do you belong ? Do you often thank God ? Or complain that what you have is not enough?

Reflect over the various juctions that you have passed ,through in life and give thanks to God.

Stop the complains and murmur, but rather give thanks.

*Theme : He is mighty to save pt 2*.

*Read. : Mark 4 vs 35-41*.

*Memory verse* :
" _Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them_".- Heb 7 vs 25

*Meditate on this : When Jesus is dwelling in your ship, permanently, then your ultimate salvation is guaranteed*.

In our previous devotional, we learnt that during the time of Noah, the Lord ask him to prepare an ark, and it took him 100 years to build the ark, likewise in the last days the ark of salvation, had been prepared before the foundation of the world for the bride's of the bridegroom.

Our object of concern in today's, devotional is our ultimate salvation.

Once saved is not forever saved, sin and lukewarmness can erode your salvation.

In our bible reading today, it was coordial relationship and fellowship that gave the disciples the audacity to go and wake up the master , when he asleep in their boat.

The Lord explained to me that for a believer to experience the ultimate salvation, then he must be in the following relationship with me.They are *fellowship( 1 Cor 1 vs 9*) , *partnership*( *Luke 5 vs 1-7*) , *discipleship(John 14 vs 12)*, and *friendship* ( *John 15 vs 14*).



1). *Fellowship* : someone said fellowship simply means two fellow in the same ship.

According to the dictionary it means friendly association especially with people who share the same interest. It also means friendly association , with people who share the same intrest.

The verses below throw more light on this.

*1 Cor 1 vs 9: God is faithful,by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord*.

This verse that the Lord saved your soul ,so that you can fellowship with him.

*Heb 10 vs 25: Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together,as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another: and so much the more as ye see the day approaching*.

This warning us that we must not forsake the assembly of other believers, especially at this period, if your church is lockdown then connect online.

Furthermore , the Lord warned us that if you are going to be in a harmonious fellowship with him, we must have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.

Beloveth my counsel is work out your salvation with fear and trembling , especially in this perilious times.

1). Don't forsake the assembly of other believers.

*Prayer points* :
1) Father help me so that i will experience the ultimate salvation of my soul in Jesus name.

*Theme :He is mighty to Save*.

*Read. : Gen 6 vs 13-22*.

*Memory verse* :
" _Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else_" *Isa 45 vs 22*

*Meditate on this : Salvation is only found in Jesus*.



Our God mighty to save and deliver all those who put their trust in him. During God specifically told him,to prepare an ark to save his household and animals( Gen 6 vs 13-22).

During the time of Jesus, specifically in the verse below.

*Mathew 24 vs 37: But as the days of were,so shall also the second coming of the son of man be*.

In these last days, God has also prepared an ark of salvation for the safety of all those ,who turn from unrighteousness and follow righteousness ( Mathew 1 vs 21).

However for you to enter this ark of salvation,your name must be in a certain book called the book of life( Phil 4 vs 3).

In April 1912, a particular ship built in London called the *TITANIC*. It was assumed to be the safest,largest and strongest ship in the world before it embarked on this journey.

However, on the first journey of this from Southampton in England to New York. The ship crashed into an iceberg that made it to sink.

After the ship sank only two list were presented by the company that built the ship.

The list was simple,and it had only two sections " *The LOST*" and " *The SAVED*".

Do you know that if Jesus were to come back today, there will only be two list ,"the saved" and the lost. Is your name in the book of life or time book? Has your name not been deleted from the book of life, because of your lukewarmness?

_Beloveth_ ,if you are reading this today and you haven't given your life to Christ do so today because tomorrow might be too late.

There is a flood of pestilence and diseases ,passing through the world, run into the ark and be saved today.

1) Make sure your name is in the book of life( Phil 4 vs 3).


*Prayer point*.
1) Father please save me from the flood of lukewarmness and sin,that is upon the world today in Jesus name.

*Wednesday,15-07-2020*.

*Theme : A cup of blessing*.

*Read : 1 Cor 10 vs 16-17*.

*Memory verse* :
"_The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ_" -1 Cor 10 vs 16.

*Meditate on this : what you drink,can determine what will follow you*.


The holy Communion is a powerful meal ,that must be taking with caution. It is powerful , because it can bring life or death,and blessings or curses.

The Bible clearly warns that those who eat the bread and the blood of Christ unworthily drinketh and eat damnation,by not discerning the Lord's body.


The bible admonish us to check and examine ourselves throughly before eating it.

But for those who take it worthily,it is a blessing to their soul.

The blessings in the cup can do so many things.

1) *Forgiveness of sin* : It is a blessing ,when your sins has been forgiven, and confession has been made,with a promise never to repeat it again.

Psalm 32 vs 1-2: Blessed is he whose transgressions is forgiven and whose sins are covered.

2) *Prosperity* : Inside the communion is a blessing that empower you to prosper exceedingly. As you partake of this meal curses ,are broken and blessings begin to manifest.


*Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree*
*3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith*.

Also , spiritual blessings are received through Christ.
*Ephesians 1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ*

As you receive the Abrahamic blessing and the spiritual blessing it will bring riches and no sorrow or trouble will be added with it. The verse below is my witness.

*Prov 10 vs 22: The blessing of the Lord , it maketh rich and add no sorrow to it*.

In conclusion, when next they are taking the holy Communion partake of it ,if you have given your life to Christ, and make sure you are not a practicing sinner.

1) Study more about the holy Communion by reading ( 1 Cor 11).


*Prayer point* .
1) Father release spiritual blessings upon me in Jesus name.

*Theme : Check your foundation*.

*Read : Mathew 7 vs 24-27*.

*Memory verse*:
" _For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building_" - *1 Cor 3 vs 9*

*Meditate on this : Until you make Jesus your foundation, whatever you are building will crash( 1 cor 3 vs 11)*.


Foundation is the unseen part of a building, that is usually underneath the building. It could be weak or strong depending on the materials used.Also it could be laid on the rock or on the sinky sand.

It is important to note, that the foundation of a marriage, ministry, business, salvation, nation can determine how long it will last and the kind of grace it carries.

For example the foundation of David's marriage to Michal sauls daughter was laid with 200 foreskin of Philistines army, that Saul demanded as dowry, even though they loved each other and the result was barrenness ( 1 Sam 18 vs 27).


The Lord is warning a reader of today's devotional becareful, of the foundation you are laying today,it could have serious consequences in the future.

When you lay the foundation of any building, ministry, marriage,career with deciet, envy, fornication,stealing, backbiting it will surely crash or become barren.

From our memory verse (1 Cor 3 vs 9) it has been established that we are labourers together with God. Stop looking for shortcut to success but rather labour diligently.

*Prov 14 vs 23: In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth to penury*.

This above verse implies that anything you labour for will surely bring profit.

If you labour over your marriage,career, ministry, salvation it will bring profit to you.

Furthermore, we saw from our Bible reading that anyone who does what the masterbuilder says was called a wise man,that built his house on the rock.

In contrast ,the foolish refuse to do what the masterbuilder said, therefore when the rain descended and the floods came,and the wind blew it fell .

I pray for you today,that the flood of adversity and covid-19 ,will not sweep away your faith and ministry in Jesus name.


*Assignment* :
1) Ensure you lay your foundation on the solid Rock.


*Prayer points* :
1) Father please don't allow the flood of adversity to sweep away my faith in Jesus name.
2).Father please don't allow the flood of lukewarmness and and prayerlessness to sweep away my joy in Jesus name.

*Theme : Jesus( My Superhero)*

*Read. :. Act 14 vs 8 - 15*.

*Memory verse* :
" _How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him_"- Act 10 vs 38.

*Meditate on this : Jesus is the only hero,you need*.


Heroes are persons noted for courageous, acts or nobility of character or persons in the opinion of others ,has done a great exploits in a certain profession, ministry or the world at large. This heroes may be dead or living but certainly they are human beings.

Superheroes on the other hand are human beings with superior strength or powers that can rescue other humans when trouble comes, though this might be more prevalent in movies,but Jesus is real.

As a youth we watched some of this movies such as Superman, Ironman ,Terminator etc.

In our Bible reading today, after Paul got to lystra and healed an impotent man, the people exclaimed that the god's have come down to us in the Likeness of men ,and we're about to worship them before Paul tore his clothes and told them he was a man like them.

I am glad to inform us that the only superhero that ever lived is Jesus Christ. And if you ever need someone to save you when,trouble comes that person is Jesus Christ.

Our memory verse reveals that he was anointed with the holyghost and power and he went about doing good ,healing all those who were oppressed of the devil( Act 10 vs 38).

As a superhero he conquered death and the devil and took the keys of death and hell(Rev 1 vs 18), also he walked on water and didn't sink.

Furthermore he spoke to the wind and the sea and they obeyed him and he turned water to wine in a wedding at Cana of Galilee.

His powers are unlimited, he was the fourth man in the fiery furnace, who made sure that fire had no power over the three Hebrew boys!!!

As a superhero he can fight for you in the air( Joshua 10 vs 9-14),in the sea( Exodus 14vs 13-21) ,and on the land( Joshua 6 vs 1-18).

Also he can open any doors ,no matter who has shut it( Rev 3 vs and he can turn your failure into success( Luke 5 vs 1-11).

Do you need a real superhero? Or do you want to be a hero?

Then come to Jesus today and know him,and he will strengthen you so that you can do exploits for him.

*Dan 11 vs 32b : but the people that do know their God, shall be strong and do exploits*.

1) Cast all your burdens on Jesus today.

*Prayer point*.
1) Father help me to carry all my burdens today in Jesus name.

*Meditate on this : You can't love and the world at the same time*.


Love is an intense feeling of deep affection for someone emanating, from a firm decision to love that person unconditionally i e true love is constant and not a variable.

A constant remains unchanged no matter the changes in the variable. That is why the bible says in 1 John 4 vs 8 ,that God is love and his love for you is the same today, yesterday and forever ( Heb 13 vs .

*Bishop David Oyedepo once said " If there were no heaven i will still serve God*" .How many people can say that today?

What are the indicators of love?

1) Who do you spend time with the most? Money or God

2) What do you think about the most? Money or God

3) Who do you speak to most of the time?

4) What do you do consistently without being motivated? Gossipping or Gospelling

5) When was the last time you gave God money without it being an offering, tithe, first fruit,? Yesterday or never

6) What do you pray about the most? His will or your will

7) What you talk about the most? His kingdom or your favourite footballer

.Where do you spend most of your time ? In the sitting room or your prayer room.

9) What kind of songs and messages do you listen to frequently? Secular or inspirational

10) What do you use most of your data for? Live football or live giving sermons

Beloveth, answer this ten questions correctly and examine yourself if you are still in the faith. And if you are found wanting make amends where necessary.

1) Devote the best part of your day to God always.

*Prayer point*.
1) Father help me to love you, more than all that the world can offer in Jesus name.

*Theme : The Kings business*

*Read :. Act 6 vs 1-4*.

*Memory verse*:
" _And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste_"-1 samuel 21 vs 8.

*Meditate on this : We can't continue to do things , the same way and expect a different result*.


The Kings business is simply anything we are doing that will populate the kingdom of God and depopulate the kingdom of hell.

Indeed the Kings business require haste, just like the early church we must put an end to all murmuring, envy, backbiting and complaints, and do the following.

1). *Dedication* : In our Bible reading we saw that the disciples said , we are being distracted let us just focus on the word and prayer. The greatest infirmity to the growth of the Kings business is prayerlessness.

Act 6 vs 4 : But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and the word.

The word continually simply means tirelessly ,rapt attention,
and dedication. And the effect was tremendous.

2). *Prayer* : Indeed prayer is the secret of any exploits in the kings business. Without prayers frustration will set in .They achieved all they did through prayer. Whatever we don't pray for, we are not entitled to receive.

3). *Increase in the word*: Each time the word of God increased, there was also a corresponding increase in the number of disciples.

*Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith*.

Also ,

*Acts 19:20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed*.

From the above verse, the word of God can grow mightily and also prevail over every obstacle.

4) Evangelism : it is the heartbeat of God, and must become our priority more than any other task. It is important to note that many are still, in the valley of decision.

Furthermore, we must remind all sinners that , there is no pure water in hell fire, according to the verse below.
Luke 16 vs 23-24:

*Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom*.

*16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame*.

From the above verse we can see , that there is torment in hell and no mercy in hell fire.

And like our memory verse emphasised, the kings business require haste, because the end is nearer than we are all thinking.

1) Go out and win souls today.

1). Father give me the wisdom and power to win souls consistently in Jesus name.

*Read : 1 chronicle 4 vs 9-10*.

1 Chronicles 4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.


*Memory verse*:
" _Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all_" - Psalm 34 vs 19.

There is a serious question that , the Lord is asking all his children in today's devotional from a verse in the Bible. This question can be found in the verse below.

*James 5 vs 13a: Is any afflicted? Let him pray*......

This verse recommends prayer as the only solution to all forms of afflictions.

It is crucial to note the Bible didn't say go and bathe in a river, or read psalm 35 seven times in a bucket of water or go and buy red and blue �️ candle.

It didn't say we should pretend,or suffering and smiling, or smoke Indian hemp or play games so as to while away time. Also it didn't say we should worry or fight with your spouse.

We must also note that affliction doesn't respect title( Dr,Engr,chief) certificates(Msc,Bsc, PhD), wealth, location( abroad or home based) or wealth etc.

In our bible reading of today in 1 chronicle 4 vs 9-10, we saw how Jabez was afflicted even though he was the most honourable among his brethren.

Even though he was honourable Jabez there was an affliction waking and sleeping with him.

It was only when Jabez prayed that God,put an end to his affliction.

Also we learnt from Jabez, that what you don't want you don't watch. Why? Because if you are watching only one affliction,it could become many according to the verse below.

*Psalm 34 vs 19: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivered him out of them all*.

Also if we watch our affliction,they can rise again according to the verse below.

*Nahum 1 vs 9: What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time*.

The good news is that ,the Lord has promised to have mercy on the afflicted (Isa 49vs 13c).

In conclusion if you are sinner, there is an everlasting affliction awaiting you in hell, unless you repent and forsake your sin( Psalm 9 vs 17).

In the beginning, God made a covenant of fruitfulness with man according to the verse below.

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply......

The word barren simply means the following , unfruitful, sterile , unproductive, etc

Signs of barrenness could be indicated by lack of growth, working with no result, not winning souls, lack of understanding, stagnation etc.

Barrenness could be caused by removal of generative organs intentionally or unintentionally and the Hebrew word "Aqar" was used in reference to Sarah( Gen 11 vs 30), Rebecca(Gen 25 vs 21), Samson's parent( Judges 13vs 2-3).

Barrenness could also be due to miscarriage , abortion and the Hebrew word SHAKOL is the actual meaning. And this Hebrew word was used in 2 Kings 2 vs 19. To indicate that the land was barren.

But the good news is that, Jesus is still making the barren to become fruitful.

To the glory of God, there was a member of our parish at Gold fm Ilesa , who had been looking for the fruit of the womb for a few years.

We anointed her and that yoke was broken, and after a year God gave the couple bouncing baby boy.

I decree into your life , business and ministry that barrenness will be terminated in Jesus name.

But above all, the Lord want us to be fruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ( 2 pet 1 vs .

In conclusion, for barrenness to turn to fruitfulness, you must accept Jesus as your and Lord and savior .

*Meditate on this : You can't engage in soul winning and go bankrupt*.


A business is simply anything we are doing that pleases the father and not the world or self . The verse below gives us more insight.

*John 8 vs 29: And that sent me is with me: the father hath not left me alone: for i do always the things that please him*.

So anything we are doing that,pleases our God more than the world is the father's business.

The father's business is simply anything that will bring joy ,increase ,addition,multiplication, expansion and dividends into his kingdom.

Our father's business therefore is his will ,and his work and this was like a food or meat to Jesus Christ. In the verse below look at what Jesus said.

*John 4 vs 34: Jesus saith unto them my meat is to do the will of him that sent me,and to finish his work*.

Jesus called it business and God the Father treated it like a business or work.

*John 5 vs 17: But Jesus answered them,my father worketh hitherto and i work*.

It is imperative for us to know that ,what Jesus called the following names business, meat , and work cannot be treated as hobby, ambition , or pleasure and we expect to have the same result like he did.

God the Father had to invest his only son ,so that he could have millions of children today according to the verses below .

*John 12 vs 24: Verily ,verily i say unto you, except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die it abideth alone*.

*John 3 vs 16: For God so loved the world and gave his only begotten son*.

In order to start this business, your startup capital is the salvation of your soul first( Act 3 vs 19) , while the holy spirit is your partner(Act 1 vs ,also you need a mouth and a wisdom( Luke 21 vs 15).

*Luke 21 vs 15 : For i will give you a mouth and a wisdom,which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist*.

The word mouth in the verse above simply means ,he will teach you what to say and how to say it ,just like he gave Moses a mouth and a rod with which he was ,doing signs and wonders( *Exodus 4 vs 17* ).

With your mouth and the word of God,in your mouth signs and wonder will happen just as he has promised. That is why he said in *psalm 84 vs 10b : ....open thy mouth wide and i will fill it*.

In conclusion, if you haven't registered your name in the book of life you can't start this business.

The Bible clearly says if you are still comitting sin such as lying , malice , fornication, masturbation, unbelief etc

Jesus is inviting you today, tomorrow might be too late. Repent and he will give you rest.

In our Bible reading of today, an angel was sent to Mary, that she will concieve and give birth to a child, and she asked how shall this thing be,as she was still a virgin,but the angel answered her,that the power of the highest will overshadow her and the impossible will now become possible.

Therefore i pray for you that the impossible, shall become possible in your life too in Jesus name.

Maybe you are still doubting,i will share my own testimony so as to rouse your faith.

I met my wife in July 2016 at the redemption camp, even though we have known each other while we were students in the university. When we met i proposed to her,that was during the amen convention.

However as we got talking ,i discovered that she was two years old than i was. So i told her to keep on praying ,that i believe that God will reduce her age.

At the holy ghost service of *September 2016, i believe that holy ghost was made for me and my wife, because the theme was " *No more fruitless efforts* " because i had made efforts to get married at least three times and i failed.

But as Daddy G.o was worshipping God the first word that came him was " *the Lord said I should tell someone here ,i have reduced your age* " .

And my wife jumped and shouted for joy, because she knew God was speaking to her.

And later after the program ,she finally agreed to marry me and that particular Friday was also my birthday. So my wife was a birthday gift to me. Till today when people see my wife she still looks like she still in her twenties. Glory be to God!!!

Are you passing through situations that looks impossible, the Lord will arise on your behalf and make the impossible to become possible in Jesus name.

The verses below is my witness.

*Meditate on this: When the holy spirit is driving ,you can't crash*.


One of the best decision,anyone can make is to allow the holy spirit to drive the vehicle of his life . The word drive simply means control, lead, influence and motivate.

Just as two drivers can not drive a vehicle, to it's destination. Likewise the holy spirit and Mr flesh can't be in charge at the same time. That is why, we must yeild to him ,so that we can make right choices( Deut 30 vs 19).

Using myself as an illustration ,the holy spirit practically drove me to the Bible college in the year 2013, for full time post graduate diploma, even though i was a staff of a telecoms company in Akure then.

I remember the admin officer asking me if i was alright, and i should do part time.

Furthermore i didn't even inform my parents until i became a student at the Bible college.

Isn't it amazing that the holy spirit drove Jesus, into the wilderness ,while his mate were in the beer parlour, hotel etc.

In Mark 5 vs 1-20, the Bible tells us a story of a man who was driven by demons to a tomb, where he was cutting himself with stones, until he met Jesus and he was delivered.

When the holy spirit is driving,he reveals things ahead( John 16 vs 13),and he doesn't sleep nor slumber( psalm 121 vs 4) , he knows when to refuel the tank( Luke 24 vs 49) and also when to put on the light especially when the night is far spent ( Romans 13 vs 12).

In conclusion ,if you don't allow the holy spirit to drive the vehicle of your life, it could lead to a crash. Tommorow might be too late accept Jesus today.

The role of wisdom is so vital in all aspects of life. Wisdom is crucial for ministry, marriage, career, life, relationship, communication, and leadership.

No wonder the Bible says wisdom is the principal thing( i.e the most important thing) ,and with all thy getting get understanding as well ( Proverb 4 vs 7).

Bishop Oyedepo said for three years before he started ministry, all he kept asking from God is wisdom. And later he said God told him "I will not have you go as others have gone".

When you sit down and do a proper analysis of this statement , it means a lot.

Later he said God divinely connected him with Pastor E. A Adeboye who laid hands on him, before he commence his ministry(Deut 34 vs 9). Today the difference is clear.

When you embrace wisdom it brings so many blessings and benefit into your life. It brings abundant Life, promotion and honour.

Proverbs 4:10: Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.

Who is then is this wisdom we are talking about? The Bible says Jesus the wisdom and the power of God( 1 Cor 1 vs 24).


To embrace wisdom is therefore a call to accept Jesus,so as to have access to the life and peace that is in Christ Jesus. Without him you can not do anything, with him in you , all things are possible.

When you embrace him as a king, you begin to reign, and when princes accept him they rule according to the verse below.

Proverbs 8:15 :By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
8:16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.


When Joseph was ruling in Egypt it was wisdom,that enthroned him, even though he was a slave and a prisoner at the same time. Hear what Pharaoh said in the verse below.

Gen 41 vs 39: And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this,there is none so wise and discreet as thou art.

There was no application, or interview neither was there any election nor godfather and he became the prime minister in a foreign land. Beloveth,all you need is Jesus ,just allow him to dwell in you richly and you will become a living wonder (Col 3 vs 16).

In our previous devotional, we learnt that the love of money , could blind our spiritual vision.

Today, we want to learn three lessons from this story.

1. Always use your gift for God, and his people, don't ever use your gift for his enemies. Balaam was given the gift of prophecy, but he was using it to advance the interest of the enemy. Are you using your gifts ? Are you not collecting registration fee, consultation fee, deliverance fee before you can minister for his people.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Bishop Oyedepo said till today he doesn't spend a dime from the royalty paid on his books!

2).For the fact that the donkey spoke in other tongue, and held a reasonable conversation doesn't mean it is spiritual. We must learn to discern and know that there are false tongues too, let us beware.

3).God will only correct those, whom he loves , but if you refuse to heed , to his correction, then he leaves you , so that you can continue on your path to destruction (Proverb 14 vs 12). How could a donkey, be sent to rebuke an ordained prophet, it must be to humble him.

In conclusion, stop following the way of Balaam and starting to following the way of life today.

The Bible says he loved the wages of unrighteousness (2 pet 2 vs 15) and forsook the right way.

The first lesson we must learn is that when you are blinded by the love of money,even a donkey will be able to see, spiritual realities more clearly than you!!
Because the donkey did not love money,it could see clearly!!!

It is unfortunately a lot of our youths are following the way of Balaam today, because of their love for money. Just maybe you are in a situation like this, and God has told you not to marry that sister or brother or not to take that job or leave that location. If God has spoken once on that issue , then don't bother seeking his face again. This scripture below will give us a better understanding.

*Ezekiel 14:1* _Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me_.

*14:2*_And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying_

*14:3* _Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them_ ?

*14:4* _Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols_.

_Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God_ James 4 vs 4.

*Meditate on this* : *You can't be a friend of God ,and of the world at the same time*.


The title of today's devotional is a popular Proverb, that says show me your friend and i will know who you are.
Throughout the bible only two individuals were called friend of God in the old, while in the new testament Jesus said that ye are my friends, if you obey him. For the old testament only Moses and Abraham we're qualified for this office.

There is another slogan that says that " a friend of my friend is my friend, while a friend of my enemy is my enemy.

Our memory verse clearly warns, that anyone who is a friend of God , should not to be a friend of the world. Also the Bible reveals the things in the world according to the verse below.

1 John 2:15 _Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him_ .
2:16 _For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world_ .
2:17 _And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever_ .

I sincerely believe that God is about, to reveal his friends so that the, whole world can know him through them.

*Romans 8:19*: *For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God*.


Are you his friend? What kind of friend are you? Hope you are not befriending his enemies?
For those who are ready to be his friends today, he calling them , but will they heed his call.
*Revelation 3:20* :
*Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me*.

To be his friends forever we must be diligent(proverb 22 vs 29) , blameless, faithful,
dedicated, meek and prayerful .

1). Endeavor to spend time with him today.

1). Father pls help me to be a faithful friend to you in Jesus name.
