I got this boy 29th of November, he's really aggressive only in the night but very calm during the day, anybody would enter the compound during the day and he will be uninterested but you can't come close to the gate or compound in the night...
Anybody have an idea on how i can make him to be aggressive during the day?

We once had a dog that was treated badly and often underfed prior to my moving in.

The dog was always trying to run away at the least opportunity.

What I did to re-orient him was to show him that he was loved.

I usually feed him. Unleash him to walk around the compound. Stroke him at every chance I get. Play with him by running around the compound together. Take him for a walk every morning.

Within months we developed a tight bond such that this dog that used to run away from everyone could now confidently stroll and lie beside me.

He even grew guts to challenge my cousins that used to bully him. They were shocked.

Dogs are sentient, sapient beings. They need love and attention. I pity those cannabilistic humans that derive joy in consuming their meat.

Now, what make people joining through Direct Short Service course not go far in rank is because of their age. Before you finish University or Polytechnic, you would have been in your mid-twenties. Promotion is every 3/4 years in the military, now calculate from your age of joining as a 2nd Lieutenant to when you are 60 years (retirement age) and see why you won't get to a General.

There is also what is called "Combatant" and "Non Combatant". You will be a non combatant officer because you didn't attend NDA, and this also affect the positions you will be given.
