Pls help me out. My 6month old poops 3 to4 time's in 24hrs. Sometimes it seeps through his diapers sometimes not. This has been on for a while now. He takes formula and friso cereal. Pls is this normal? Plus he has been crying a lot since yesterday. Could he be teething?

Good morning mums
right now I'm at a total loss of what to do. Im so sad and depressed.
My 8wk old started purging about a week ago or so I thought. Went to the hospital and was given amoxicilin though there was no fever. The frequency of poop reduced for two days and started again on Sunday.
I went to a paediatrician this time. He saw the poop and said it was actually normal but ordered a full blood count nd malaria test.
After the results he prescribed an antibiotic and antimalarial. My boy has been vomiting, dull and sleeping all day since he started taking these drugs. In fact he seemed a lot healthier before the drugs.
He is onEBF. Should I stop the drugs and hope that whatever bug he has will go away on its own?

I'm truly greatfull for all ur responses. Pls what kind of formula can I give? Which is best?

Gave birth almost 24hrs ago and up till this point there's not a single drop of breast milk.
I have tried pap tea hot liquids etc but nothing. Baby now refuses to latch on cos nothing comes out ndy beautiful bobo is obviously hungry. I'm
almost in tears myself.

@goosebump and keji3, adhere to ur dr's instruction(as long as u hv confidence in him). Goosebump dat bp is high(nt to scare u o).Tk d drugs prescribed, try to rest as much as possible reduce ur salt intake. Always check for protein in urine at each ANC visit. If there s protein(up to 2pluses) plus legswelling, den ur dr might want to deliver u at d earliest possible tym.Wotever complaint u hv, pls say it out, dont try to excuse it or form strong woman. Dont worry, u ll b fine. This ll surely end in praise.

Goosepump and keji, if ur bp use to b normal before preg den it's called pregnancy induced hypertension which wil normalise after birth or continue.
Any family history of hypertension?
U nid lots of rest,low salt diet and management by a gud gynaecologist
Any headache,blurred vision, swollen feet must b reported immediately to the hosp
Nothing must b taken for granted.
And u nid to b positive, worry wil only add to the situation. Hope dis helps

thanks for the response. Had a normal bp before pregnancy and this was just noticed last week. Yes there's a little headache but I always a tribute it to work. I also noticed that my shoes felt tighter after sitting for over two hours yesterday. I was prescribed niferdipin and aldoxi.

on my last ANC the doc was concerned about my blood pressure. 190/100. And my urine had trace glucose. Please is the blood pressure really bad? I refuse to be scared cos I know in Jesus name all will be alright.
He gave me some drugs though but I'll like to know if there are any lifestyle changes I can make to help the drugs work better.

I'm not overweight, almost skinny self and meat irritates me so those causes are ruled out. I have a very stressful job though. I'm about 20wks.

Sorry for the long tory but im concerned.

@proudmum. Not feeling any movement o. Just dull menstrual like pains that come and go. Last scan was at12wks but I'm due for one this week.

had a blighted ovum scare a few weeks back and was told to come a week later for confirmation. I lost hope and was too weak to pray so I called my mum.
I couldn't even do my normal morning devotion with hubby and I stopped taking my folic acid. I just woke up one morning took anointing oil rubbed on my belly and said my God who caused this to be planted will not put me to shame. This is my pre shiloh miracle and I must testify of ur goodness.
Went for another scan a few days back and the dr confirmed that we are fine.
See me swallowing folic acid sharply.

I noticed some spotting this afternoon after I peed. Was at work so I sharply cleared my desk and ran to the hospital.
We did a scan and he said from what he culd seeIit was a blighted ovum therefore the bleeding would most likely progress and I would loose the pregnancy.
I'm eight weeks gone and so sad from the thought of loosing this baby.
My question. Is it possible that the scan might be wrong?
Is it possible that the feotus might begin to grow again?
doc says to come back in a week.

Congrats to all who just gave birth. God is indeed wonderful.
So went to the the hospital yesterday and the doc just told me to come back next week. No advice no pre natals..... nothing! He says we do a scan first and take it from there.

Meanwhile the hunger I feel these days no be here ooo but ironically I can't eat. Nothing is appealing. Just had a few pieces of yam all through yesterday till now.
