jamace: You assertions are wrong, bro.
First, leaders take oath of office. Citizens do not take any oath of office. The taking of oath of office separates a leader from an ordinary citizen.
Secondly, the constitution places more emphasis on the role of the leader than the civic duties of a citizen. Meaning that LEADERSHIP IS RESPONSIBILITY and not a mere title.
Thirdly, by virtue of the powers conferred on the leader by the constitution, he is demanded to execute the roles and laws to the letter. Failure of a leader to leverage on his constitutional powers, is a failure on the part of that leader.
Finally and in conclusion, when a leader fails, the society fails. Thus, the society is a reflection of its leader. Not the other way round.
Then on Peter Obi, go and read his performance as governor here: https://www.nairaland.com/7313723/some-projects-done-peter-obi
Peter Obi stands out as the new hope for Nigeria by his self discipline, humane attributes and zeal to make things work in Nigeria. Nigeria needs to be rescued from selfish and greedy politicians who do not really care about the citizens.
Vote wisely.
Good note. Leading the people is a very tough thing to do. I really appreciate your efforts in analysing the role of leaders in a constitutional environment. I will need to repeat this assertion that a leader is a reflection of the society he is Leading. When you have a great leaders , things will become more prosperous as the leader and the people being led team up. Where you have a great leader, and the people are not in cooperation with the leadership, things will not comes out well. This is the reason a good leaders deserve a better followership to bring out the best of the society.. My prayers for Nigeria and Nigerians are that we get it right in 2023. Both the leadership and the citizens. God help us |

CSTRR: Yes, Nigerian attitude must change, but it has to be a top-down approach.
Your leaders are shitt.
Look at Buhari. They discovered those oil Pipeline days before the national awards.
What did Buhari do? Did he sack the heads of military and the NNPC?
No.
He gave Mele kyari a national award. Fuckinggg mele kyari.
If he is not guilty of colluding, he is atleast guilt of incompetence. Such people should be facing Senate panel and getting dishonorably discharged.
That is what Peter obi would have done.
Buhari rewarded that crooked slowpoke and you think such a govt can produce integrity.?
It's impossible. Good note. Nigeria leaders are chosen from among Nigerians Our leaders are a reflection of our society. Obi was once a leader of a unit of Nigeria for 8 years. Nothing was spectacular about his leadership then. Yes, among the contenders for the presidential election, he is more youthful, fair and looking more energetic. He is not a new man entirely. Nigeria under control of any leadership will only be better, if Nigerians are ready to makes things better. God help us |

Revolution2022: When the contract for pipeline surveillance was awarded to tompolo, some misguided detractors were fuming that why would the security of pipeline be given to a civilian and not the army and navy. Was it not under the Army's watch that a fully loaded crude oil vessel sneak out of Nigeria waterways and was captured in another African country waterways? The army, navy, airforce and police are criminals. There the original oil thieves, in collaboration with high government officials. |

Wisetrue99: You just realize that
These are the people asking us not to talk about the government
Any government gagging voices especially social media has a lot to hide and it cannot be good!
Peter Obi thank you for voicing out! It will continue under Peter Obi, unless Nigerians are ready to change. Peter Obi will not be in everywhere at every time. He will rely on Nigerians to perform every order he issued out. Nigerians attitude must change before we can experience any good atmosphere in Nigeria. God help us |

PDP has nothing to offer Nigerians. Up till now, PDP has not be able to finish the building of its national headquarters. PDP national working Congress members are busy sharing money without mobilise any contractor to site of the building. There is no more examples of what will happen if PDP is voted back to power.
Looting and sharing of the national treasury will be elevated to higher levels.
Let us keep our eyes open, so as to see how things are playing out in all the major political parties as we are approaching 2023 elections.

Buhari is fine and kicking very well today, many who are busy ranting about his health issues are gone to the grave but Buhari is here by the special grace of God. Politics › Re: Mercy Johnson Hits Back At OBIDIENT by gotnel: 10:23pm On Oct 03, 2022 |
Greenwood18: MERCY JOHNSON AND THE RESPECT FOR DIVERGENT OPINIONS AND CHOICES Every Nigerian has the rights to choose their leaders without pandering to fear, harassment and threats by anyone.
An important lesson every OBIDIENT must learn is elections will come and go but life goes on and there will always be plurality of opinion.
Since the pseudo start of this election cycle we’ve seen, observed and confirmed a heightened level of harassment of citizens via death threats, arson threats, verbal and now physical abuse against those who happen not to support Peter Obi’s candidacy.
From Reno Omokri to Femi Kuti to Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka to the less prominent Nigerians whose voices are not heard, all have collectively been threatened, harassed and abused all because they have a contrary opinion on their choice for Nigeria’s next leader.
The recent, is the now infamous verbal attack and threats on Nollywood celebrities who were included in the APC women campaign council.
There is tyranny evidently emanating in the conduct of Peter Obi’s political supporter’s. Tyranny of choice. If anyone supports any other candidate outside Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), then they must have been bought or compromised, and are deserving of violent death.
Take Mercy Johnson as a case study. She was SSA to governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State. Also important to note is that she is a card carrying member of the APC. Her husband Prince Odi Okojie is the APC candidate for the Federal House of Representatives Esan North East and South East federal constituency.
Yet several ignorant so called OBIDIENT have villified, abused and threatened her all for supporting a platform she is a part of.
Must everybody support your candidate? Every citizen have a right to support whoever they choose as their preferred candidate. What happens to respect for divergent opinions and choices?
Ignorant OBIDIENT must understand that after the elections, comes governance. If Peter Obi by some conspiracy of destiny, which is unlikely, wins the 2023 presidential election, how does he hope to govern the country when his foot soldiers are dangling a sword over those who differ?
https://exclusivedispatch.com/mercy-johnson-and-the-respect-for-divergent-opinions-and-choices/ Very Very unfortunate situation. I observe that Obi supporters will be the one that will cause his downfall . Democracy is a game of choice. One candidate can not be in a race of president of Nigeria and we will talk about democracy. The sweetness of democracy is diverse candidates, different supporters on all sides a rigorous campaigns and one winner at the end. Obedient supporters must understand the importance of multiple candidates and everyone right to choose one of the candidates. God help us |

It is the fault of OP to have descended so low by having such a discussion with an 8 years old girl.
It's not a crime for couples to stay in one room apartment and have their kids in the same room.
Having intimacy in such a room must have a timing and schedule. To keep the children away from taken note of what is happening. However, some kids are wild on their own. They will pretend to have slept while they are taken note of all actions of their parents. May God bless us as we expected , to be able to fetching for our family as it should be. |

The childish behaviour of Donald Trump at display here. Bidden is entitled to the front row sits anytime, anywhere, in any occasion. All over the world Being sitted at 14th row at the late queen funeral does not reduce or add to the fact that Joe Bidden is the president of the United States of America . I believe Bidden choose to stay at that position at the funeral. No matter who the organisers of the queen funeral are, they will never have put the sits reserved for POTUS at row number 14. Position and timing matter a lot, but not at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. |
