dey there na,if u check well u will notice that they were specific with the REDMI 3&4 versions unlike the NOTE 4&3 which they had no reason to specify since they were referring to the whole NOTE versions of that specific series. hope u get now

My fellow xiaomi users, please is it not possible to skip an update and download the latest update zip manually and use the updater app to install? I haven't updated my redmi 4 prime for a while so I just downloaded the latest rom but the updater app said I should update to an older version first.

In this case, update the phone from the updater first before doing your manual update. Its even possible you are trying to skip a major update with the method you are applying, won't work.

Meanwhile you'd need a Bluetooth earpiece. Forget that type C to 3.5mm dongle they included. You'd need to charge and use earpiece together sometimes.

Why not add like 6k and get the Redmi note 7 instead, it's basically same phone with bigger battery, better camera, plus the headphone jack. The only advantage the Mi 8 lite has is its smaller form factor, and band 28 4G for Glo, that's if you buy the Global version.

Exactly the point, it's not everyone that needs more than 16gig of internal memory, some have unlimited data and prefer to pay for cloud storage.

yeah I'm mi fan I think they can do better for midrange phones at least Xiaomi note7 should be sold from 45-50k for 3/32 not 59k. again I think they produce their best phones for rich people . imagine Nokia x5 with helio p60 for 46k, Nokia x6 4/64 snapdragon 636 for 58k. Xiaomi can do better not with all these low end chip set

What are you saying na? Between Xiaomi and Nokia who actually uses old processors? What does the Nokia Flagship use, Nokia 9 pureview? Of course the already old snapdragon 845. Have you seen the newly released Nokia X71? It uses the outdated snapdragon 660 you accuse Xiaomi for using in the Redmi note 7. Should I go ahead and point out that the Redmi note 7 pro uses the latest top of the line snapdragon 675 processor, or the Mi 9 SE uses the latest top dog of mid range processors, the snapdragon 712? What's your point exactly? Don't tell me it's the Helio P60 in the Nokia X5 that is responsible for all this long talk ooo .
