Nairaalander1: where will he find those other users? This is a shop rom, remember They are on Mi forum, waiting is key. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 8:06am On Sep 08, 2018 |
Nairaalander1: But my previous post you quoted stated that I checked. You too can check. The two roms are identical. more feedback from that particular shop rom user? Nope, what you checked is if the update notification is same with what is on miui download page. What I meant is that he should check if those with his current shop rom version were able to update their phones via OTA without bricking their devices. |

Nairaalander1: and how will he confirm this?
Compare his rom screenshot few pages back with the one on miui rom download page Yes, he should compare and wait for more feedback from other users. |

bigtt76: The test points he mentioned is used when you brick the phone and want to bring it back to life Nope, he is right, if updating the rom will brick the phone, then using test points will by-pass that. |

priceaction: Besides, I bought original SanDisk memory card 8gig, because I wanted to test something, only to format it and the thing shrink to 2gig. Ever since I don't know how to get back my 6gig. Can anyone assist me oo. And why is it like that? I think the memory card is not original, how do you know it is original? That 2gig should be the original capacity of the memory card. |

lavenderjade: I know dats how its done man... Nor b today i begin use xiaomi fones Yeah, nr b today, just saying are you sure that's the way with this particular rom? We have flashed official roms over fake roms in the past, did it with Redmi 4, Redmi 4x, and Redmi note 4x. The question is are you certain this case is like the ones I mentioned or like that of the Redmi 5 plus? Also if you can remember, not all shop roms for the Redmi 5 plus were affected, it's a particular shop rom that needed you to ' carry out surgery '. |

Phones › Re: Xiaomi Redmi 4x And Nokia 3 by Gptech(m): 1:03pm On Sep 06, 2018 |
Umunri: Please help me choose between Nokia 3 and xiaomi redmi 4x Nokia 3 has all network in Nigeria while redmi 4x has not but finger print scanner. If Glo 4G is what is most important to you then get the Nokia, otherwise the Redmi is a better device, meanwhile you can get newer devices with your budget I believe. |

adeniyisamuel59: Ouch! I am having a similar challenge now, I ordered for an item about 6 days ago but I was given number that China post registered airmail did not recognize, I contacted the seller, up till now, he has not responded. I doubt if I will order from Aliexpress again, this is the second time I am having issues with them, what I ordered from gearbest has delivered successfully without hitches. What did you order, is it extraordinarily cheap? If some sellers make a mistake in pricing, they end up giving you a fake tracking number, they want to refund your money, so need to open a dispute. Track from here and see the result https://global.cainiao.comThis item is already in Nigeria, calculate how many days.
