JandyJ: So Mi Max 2 Has Better Battery Life And Better Display Quality? It Has 342ppi Compared To Note 4 401ppi Mi Max 2 has better battery and camera, you won't notice any difference in display despite the difference in screen size, even the old Mi Max is that good, just not as bright. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 10:24pm On Sep 27, 2017 |
JandyJ: Hmm But The Mi Max 2 Is More Expensive Than Note 4. Then How Come Note 4 Is The Winner? In What Way Pls? Cc Gptech, Grandmufti And Others Abeg Talk Put 4 This Matter I want the believe he was referring to the Mi Max. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 10:23pm On Sep 27, 2017 |
JandyJ: Pls Someone Should Give Me An Intensive Review Of Mi Max 2, Camera Quality Against The Note 4, Battery Performance And Screen Quality With Note 4. And If The Phone Heat Up, Multitasking Review And Others. I Want To Get It 4 Someone Even without touching the Mi Max 2, it is better than the note 4 in everyway, except performance, which should be a tie because of same processor. |

v4vendetta: thank you too for the responds,am not really that into upgrading to another rom unless the current one has bugs that can be fixed in the next update but am concerned about the rom features...such as not being locked to Chinese or India surroundings like the way some Samsung phones behave...things like locked to a particular sim, subjected to use the follow come apps or files like blackberry and iPhones phones etc,I want the one that can install and use google play store apps, accept third party applications out play store, use external sd card without jail breaking...in fact like the good old days of tecno n3 just buy, charge, insert and start using without any issues thank you again I hope you are aware the phone comes with a hybrid sim? You can only use one sim together with a memory card. |

Cunnilingus: i got it tru my bro. He used it for abt 2 wk. Yesterday i saw an update which i did wen it was time to restart for it to update, i did then i saw something like twrp. So i just switched it off and restarted. The update failed Your bro should have told you about the root ish, if you update, you'll lose root access. If you want to port back to global rom, just download manually from miui and flash using TWRP. To do this you need to switch off your phone, then hold power button + volume up at the same time for like 7 seconds to launch Twrp, then follow the prompt to flash the rom. If you are not sure, contact your bro to assist you. |

MarkWayne89: I got it from China, from Banggood. Ok, you bought it new right? If that's the case, do you mean that the phone is locked, that you cannot use or access anything? Or you are trying to sign up for miui account? |

Teedeechian: I inserted it this morning, was installing apps from the sdcard, out of no where it started writing package could not be found, only for me to notice that the sd card column was not there again. I have inserted the memory card into 2 other phones including the one I was using it with before non has been able to detect it also. What could be the problem? Likely not original memory card. |

Lexusgs430: Let's not compare Apple & Pears.......... We MTK users only require a Lexus, and that's what we pay for and expect........ Snapdragon users pay for and have a higher level of expectation...... (possibly a Royce Rolls)
We MTK buyers know we are buying a dog and never expect a Cheetah's performance....... Hahahahahahahaha, but some of you actually expect a cheetah's speed, a leopard's skills, and a lion's strength . |

Youngsage: lol but that one is different na, his eyes are tied ok, what i was trying to say is, assuming you are given two different phones, an SD and MTK, from just your operating of the phones and running different apps, can you know or guess perhaps, which one of them is SD/MTK?? Hehehehe, one can tell especially when it's in the high end region. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 8:01pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
Youngsage: OK, here what i meant. Based on your earlier comment, one would think you have had an hands on experience with the Ulefone Gemini which apparently is not the case. You clearly wrote off the phone, and the Ulefone brand as a whole, based on your not so good experience with the Ulefone Tiger. Which is why I presented that analogy. What if they decided to improve on their errors with the Gemini? You never know. Even samsung and other top brands, i'm sure there are people who have had negative experiences with them too. Yea, true, you have a point there, they could have upped their game in the area of build which I still doubt sha, but for the price, would rather add very little cash and get something better. |

Lexusgs430: If it is an automatic version, listen out for the gear change sequence. The sequence you do not hear, would be the Lexus... Exactly! When you use a snapdragon, watch out for a smooth experience with very good battery performance. Also after during heavy use, I mean real heavy use with an Mtk and snapdragon of thesame level, the one that operates smoother without overheat is the snapdragon . |

Lexusgs430: Umidigi Z1 Pro's screen is super Amoled, and not disappointing in any way shape or form....... The build quality is also very premium (possibly some exceptions to the rule is applicable)..... Hahahahahahahaha, u don start . |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 5:02pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
Youngsage: Na wa o! One would even think you've used the phone in question sef based on your opinion above
Even automobile brands do recall some particular models when a defect is reported. Doesn't mean yet to be released models are automatically bad or will have same issues. I clearly said based on experience with Ulefone Tiger, what do you mean by your statement? . I also have a negative review for the Leagoo M8, even though many people in the thread tend to sing its praise. I have also had an experience with Oukitel the year 2015. What I have come to realise with these experience is, many of their midrange devices have really poor build and screen display; they look and feel disappointing compared to the pictures displayed online, even the old Redmi 2 looks better to be sincere. Mind you, am expecting an Oukitel U20 plus, will see how that goes. |

Youngsage: How can one know if adevice is a SD or MTK device without checking out the specs, rather just based on user experience? How can one know if a car is Toyota Rav 4 or Lexus RX300, when his eyes are tied inside, without being told just based on user experience? |
