Dieumerci: Buh the camera is supposed to be 16MP, what happened? I have that phone in my cart already. Even though its 20mp nothing will make a midrange phone perform excellently in the camera department, plus when we say the quality is average, doesn't mean that it is bad, should almost be better than the redmi note 3 pro sef or on par. Since the screen is large, you easily spot out imperfections in picture quality. Those with Mi max send you pics to devices with smaller screens, you will likely get the impression of a better image. Lastly, never rate camera quality by megapixels, its the quality of the sensor that matters most, otherwise Samsung Galaxy s5 would have a better camera than Galaxy s7. |

princetom1: It used to be, not anymore. It's only those selling and buying on the thread now. Not as much as the comments on this thread anymore Too many marketers plus greed killed that thread, used to be my favourite thread in Technology market. Those days you need latest info about foreign exchange that's the thread to check, but not you ask a question, you hardly get quick response. |

busuyi44: big screen 6.44", superb battery life: played a video of 2hrs 30min n I still had 87% battery left from 100%. Cons: slow charging 0.5%/min needs 3hrs to charge the battery 4850mAh from 10% to full, average camera output. Everything you said is correct bro, but the camera with flash at night is deceptive, it's more powerful than many people think. To get the full power of the flash, you have to focus before snapping. |

jboixxx: But they're not always cheaper as Note4 is cheaper on Xiaomi Online compared to Dreami. True, in the long run, expect a price slash from Dreami, it's going to be cheaper. |

jboixxx: Oh! You na don eventually enter developer ROM class! Make I Google the disadvantages of it before I decide if I go enter developer class like u. I don port to developer rom for long na, since last year maybe June sha, the disadvantages are not disadvantages to me, because there are updates everyweek. Meanwhile advantages include early updates like for instance, those in developer roms have been using the features to be introduced in miui 8.2 stable roms for months now. |

Baroba: Having said that, I noticed a Qualcomm 2.0 adapter + fast cable I used charged the Note 4 in 2.5hrs.. I never took the stock out of the packet to compare since I bought it for someone; but I read somewhere it takes up to 4hours to fully charge, how true that is am not quite sure.. That's not true at all, it takes about 2 hours to fully charge with the stock charger, even the Mi max doesn't take that long to charge. |

saintkenny: Hi Fam, I've been following this thread for only a week and the repertoire of information here is amazing. Thank you all for your honesty and willingness to help. Just two quick questions. 1. Does UBA MasterCard work at all for online transaction and what's their rate? 2. Which is preferable between Mi 5s plus and Mi note 2 for performance and update to Nougat? Thanks in anticipation of your responses. 1. According to some who have tried, they say it works only at 12.am, and it's like a 'fastest finger' thing, because they have a daily limit of dollars to spend. 2. Both of them are flagships of different aesthetics, they have similar chipset and also similar performance, and both will surely get similar Nougat update and other support. You'll likely be the first in this thread that will be getting either of these devices, will like you to go for the Mi note 2 though . |
