All parties (main applicant and dependents) need to pay the same... if no then you are not calculating it properly

Hmmm...can anything be done after biometrics? Don’t know why I’m asking when it’s late?

Is it a ground for refusal or they will give a chance to pay the balance?

Pls IHS calculated 1320USD for me as main applicant and 990USD for each dependent (I used end course date for them as visa expiry date as I don’t have a visa yet)
17mnths course

I hope I’m correct

IHS and Visa fees keeps adding a few dollars by the day...a friend paid $489 for visa after few days I paid $493 for mine. You’ll get your one figure when you ready to pay.

But Paga uses CBN official rate 380-385

PAGA used N395 for me on Sunday.

Also pls, if there is any issue surrounding spouse dependent visa application for instance, can it affect main applicant with the children’s own? Or each applicant are being judged on individual basis?

Eg. Granting main applicant and children visa then refuse spouse dependent that has issue or will they rather refuse everyone including main applicant since both parents need to be together for the kids?

Good day ppl, I’m filling the visa form, pls what’s the best response to give here for a child not up to 2yrs and can’t fill for herself? (Under declaration stage) (Attached)

Is it “I am the applicant aged under 18”? Meaning she is the one filling the form herself.

Or “i am the parent/guardian aged under 18 filling on his behalf” (incase I’m to choose this option, when asked if I’ll be using someone else fund, the answer should be No right? Since I’m now applying as the parent and not as the child applying herself)

If you are still in Nigeria, renew your passport there no matter how much it costs you, and get a 10 year one too.

DO NOT, repeat NOT come to the UK with a passport close to expiry with the hope of fellowshipping in Northumberland Avenue.

Mehn...mine is expiring this year but December. Can I renew here, considering it still has about 11months+ validity?

Well-done every one for helpful information provided on this platform. I was denied CAS by my school for January intake after meeting all their condition of offer, including payment of 50 percent payment of school fees and providing TB certificate. Their reason was that I have high refusal record with the immigration. Please kindly advice on my next step of action and also how can I correct my TB certificate since the school address is already on it. For the school fees, they had already sent me a refund application form to fill which I had done already. Am really down thinking of next action. I really want to join January or February intake. I have all the requirements ready.

Sorry about this, look for schools that has Feb or May intake, you might even get for March in the process of searching but you need to be in good state to achieve this so pls first put yourself together as there is still hope.

Meanwhile, what school is that, that gave such last minute heartbreak? I prefer admission denial from onset and not time for CAS

Has anyone gotten CAS from University of West Scotland? Pls how long did it take after submitting POF? I want to know if I’ll still stand a chance to meet up with Visa processing by early January.

Pls I’m finding it hard to choose. Kindly give suggestions:

I got two admissions,

University of West Scotland (Close to Glasgow), 18months Digital Marketing
Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen), 14months Digital Marketing

In terms of a better school, cost of living, student life, job Offer both as a student and after graduation, which do you think will be better of especially for a mother with two “babies”

Got offer from UWS 2 weeks ago,it took just 8 days to receive offer.
I also got a mail on Friday informing me their will delays due to the fact that they are working from home since last week.
You can get in touch with their country rep, he was of great help, he is on ground at the school presently,so he can help speed things. Reach him at austin.ogogo@uws.ac.uk

Thank you again! Austin was really helpful. I have gotten an offer, however with the condition that I produce my transcript but NASU is on strike, I don’t know how to go about this yet, school is University of Ibadan, if anyone has a solid contact, I’ll appreciate.

My concern is what if I pay tuition fee deposit and NASU don’t call off the strike anytime soon?

Coincidentally, I also got an offer for Robert Gordon too, same course, without having transcript as a condition even though West Scotland is my first choice.

Pls people, advise me.

Mine was US too though, you really need to check other schools still accepting January intake just to be on a safe side & have options to choose from like I did

I’m grateful for this info. I’ll do that right away.

I would advice you apply to GCU or Edinburgh (as I observed that the both schools you applied to are in Scotland) because West Scotland delayed my Application for 2 months & 3weeks, later asked that I send a copy of a refusal (letter) I disclosed & finally gave a rejection 1 month & 1 week later, was happy I started applying early enough & already had 2 Admissions offer by then, I can't speak for the latter you made inquires on though. All the best....

Wow! Thank you so much for this info, just that only few schools offer the course I intend doing esp in January/February batch (Digital Marketing)

UWS requested for my refusal letter as well, up to week plus now and the refusal was even US and Italy visiting visa not even UK.

#confused state of mind right now!

Pls who has gotten an offer from West Scotland or Robert Gordon yet? How long did it take for them to offer you admission?

It’s already 2weeks plus I applied to West Scotland and a week plus to Robert Gorgon but no offer yet and time is running out.

I was able to book an appointment through the telephone then I got an email to register which I haven’t been able to. Try calling their numbers as early as 8am to book.

To those that have done the test, is registering on the mail sent necessary if you’ve already booked via phone call?

Well, I booked via phone call this morning and was requested for my email ID which I gave, not up to 5mins, they sent me a mail confirming I booking so I think it might be necessary but I’m not sure

Yes you are correct, I already sent her same message same time I posted here incase I get other views too so I can check them out in line with the course.

Pls who knows any Uni closer to or around University of Hertfordshire (aside Bedfordshire). I’m trying to see if I can stay not too far from my cousin already attending the University of Hertfordshire as the Hertfordshire Uni don’t offer the course I wish to study.

I can’t seem to make progress with google search

congratulations. Well nobody knows whether u will be asked to go for preggy test as nobody has updated the room with any update.

Thank you ma’am, ok let me assume they were not asking prior to now. I also hope they don’t turn people back at POE based on assumptions like US do.

But this thread suddenly went cold o

Happy New Month all, Pls I need advise.

I’m already preggy, towards end of first trimester, hubby has a friend that has sent (my son and i) an invitation letter.

Now is it possible to apply for tourism visa, get the visa, visit Canada for like a week without them frowning at the pregnancy at POE? Cos I believe by then the tummy would have been out depending on how fast visa is issued. Or will a preggy test be requested for at point of application?

Because I intend actually visiting for tourism then still travel again for birthing with same visa during my due date which is still “far”

Pls let me know the likely pros and cons and if you think this might work out.

Thank you

It is the same amount per applicant irrespective of age.
Yes a knowledge gap does exist with STANBIC IBTC tellers as I encountered same.
What matters is that you pay into the Brazil Consulate's account with the applicant name and get a teller which you will include in your application.

Chikina.

Gods grace

Ok, thanks for this

You can pay at any Stanbic branch just copy the Brazilian embassy Stanbic account details on their website then tell the teller to write your name in full on the deposit slip. Attach the slip with the docs you will be submitting at the embassy.

Oh, thank you

Thanks for this, it is stated on their site (but I guess that may be if the minor is not your offspring) or you aren't the one accompanying them...I may be wrong

Well, I applied with my kid who is a minor.
I sent out an email requesting the parental consent form to the embassy but they did not reply.

So I jejely applied with just her birth certificate based on advice from veterans here since I am her parent.
I submitted with the original birth certificate too and the guys there didn't talk about the parental consent form.

But it is good you got the form.
I wonder why they haven't made it readily available on their website.

Anyways, Na God get power.

Oh imagine, and I stressed notarising form.
Pls how much did you pay for the minor? Is it same 36k cos I know some countries like Italy usually give a reduced cost (Child is below 1year o). Pls respond as I intend paying on Monday.

Surprisingly the Stanbic Bank hubby went to in Apapa don’t know they are the recipient for Brazilian visa fee so I guess, the guy was even requesting to see where their bank was mentioned.

I’ll guess i’ll just go to any VI branch and make my payment
