Iyamefa: What can I do to combat Food aversion? The thing is I’m hungry but I cannot eat. I just attempted to eat some fries and I can’t stand it. Tried eating bean porridge and bread yday and couldn’t go past one spoon. I can’t even eat my beloved dodo with jollof rice anymore, dodo now irritates me cos of the sugary taste. I tried eating fruits yday when I couldn’t eat food and I seemed to take down fruits but I decided to google the fruits I was eating only to see that peaches are not advisable in pregnancy. I just stopped eating everything altogether. Right now it’s only boiled eggs I can eat. I’m hungry, what can I eat ooooo This question is vey important. Really waiting for suggestions |

keeki: Good morning mamas I tested positive to malaria and it was ++ the doctor prescribe the drug in the pic for me. I browsed and saw it wasn't safe in first trimester. Considering it is 80 over 480 can I still take it? I don't even know if what I am typing makes sense. please help.
Mummy Zaynie Jazzyjazz liftedhands enque rofemigwa whyworryPH
and other sabi mamas I don’t know about this drug and I don’t if my post will help but incase I tested positive to malaria at 5weeks and the doctor said treating malaria at that stage is dicey and malaria itself isn’t safe so he recommended in his words, one of the safest drug, Amodaquine and in split/low dose. I discussed with another gynae who said I shldnt use anything that it’s all part of pregnancy unless it seems serious. Long and short, I didn’t use (scared cos I’ve had two miscarriages and they were blamed on different particular drugs). Went back to hospital at 8weeks and viola , no malaria. I’m wondering what happened, I’m not a doctor/lab scientis but maybe malaria test is read in percentages and maybe there is a low percent that pregnancy makes pronounced. I dont know sha just consult another gynae and be very sure it’s malaria u have. You can also ask about Amodaquine The week you are in matters too cos I learnt treating malaria in is compulsory from 2nd trimester |

ayabadamilola: Part 2... At home, I continued my pee ministry and asked hubs to keep massaging the inside of my thigh. I kid you not, I thought my vjay was going to fall out! It ached like mad, I promised myself I won't kpekus for 3 months if God delivered me from the pain. Hubs got tired and called MIL that "omo yin ti fe pa mi o, o ni idi n ro oun (your daughter wants to kill me o, she said her puna is aching). Momsie shout for him to take me to the hospital sharp sharp. On the way, my water broke in the car, Hubs still had mouth to be telling me that the car wee be smelling now. The evil eye I gave him sealed his lips till we got to the hospital.
Long story short, we got to the hospital around 4pm... I was checked and found to be 6cm gone. MIL met us there (bless her heart) and made me promise not to shout or cause trouble. She even promise me Hot Amala ontop (see longer throat). I started to form macho girl, I no make sound but the pillows get dent. One ogbanje nurse still coman chook hand inside person yansh, dey speak English.... I dey look am. Around 6:15, I started feeling the urge to push, they checked again and I was fully dilated. With just 3 pushes, my bobo slid out...he didn't even cry for long. He was just looking around. The matron said "alakowe lomo yin o, ko tie pariwo". I couldn't stop the tears, for God gave me laughter for my sorrow.
I gave him ZURIEL meaning "the strength of God"...God has indeed been my strength through all the trials. IDIOPEMIPO... because I have enough reasons to thank God.
BS submitted o cappo Zeezaa Congratulations...why did I get teary when I read your MIL’s part. I felt that love so strong. Your prince will continually give you reasons to praise God |

DrDhe: 4/4 The nurse said, since the only pain was in my rectum, I should push the next time I feel like pooing. So I kept pushing. After a while, she had to cut me to create more room. By 11.45, my beautiful baby boy came out screaming and was handed over to me...... To God be the glory. Ladies, please get ready for your babies from week 36, I can imagine what would have happened if I didn't pack my bags a night before the baby decided to show. BS submitted!!! thank you team September and thank everyone for sharing this journey with me Wow! This is really informative. Learnt a lot from it. Congratulations mama and thanks for the details |
