Mr Gov. You paid 10 million naira to fulani as compensation? Oh no! The 'herdsmen' have been killing people and destroying properties. Have you been able to secure any compensation from them so far? The answer is obvious. Sir you are clearly affraid to take bold and proactive measures to check the activities of these brutes. You wouldn't want to place yourself on a collision course with the powers in Abj. Always trying to please them at the expense of your people. Sir, you have enormous powers vested on you as a governor. Just be bold. Sometimes, you need to make radical decisions. You are wasting your time pursuing peace with those brutes. Infact, they will take your peaceful disposition as a sign of weakness since they don't even understand/cherish the path of peace. I am not happy about the injustice being meted out on Benue people. PMB is yet to make a public stand against these so-called 'herdsmen'. For those who don't know, what is happening in Benue State is really bad. @Pokipoki. I sight you. |
Senator Melaye's conduct is highly questionable. His display of oppulence and general behaviour clearly shows he has psychological problems. Like someone has posted above, his conduct is very childish. |
CoolFreeday:Brother. To be honest, the Senate is, has been, and will continue to be our main problem. At least we have brilliant minds in the House of Reps. Infact, the past Senate, under the leadership of David Mark, and the present Senate are nothing to write home about. They are complete failures. |
The conclusion of the post sums it all. As a matter of fact, that man has plunged the state into huge debts with absolutely nothing to show. Its really unfortunate. On assumption of office in 2015, that man incured a whooping debt of 60 billion naira within 7 months. The aim, according to him, was to clear the arrears of salaries of workers inherited from the previous regime. The money dissappeared without a trace leaving the backlog of salaries unattended to. As am writing this, civil servants are being owed up to 8 months. It is very shameful. That man is a failure and a disgrace. |
Meek75:There is complication about this issue. The statement of result from ABU is dated Feb 2000. He posted that he served in 1999. His NYSC certificate is dated 2001. These dates do not follow at all. Fishy deals. Sharp guy. |
muyibaba222:My brother. Something is wrong somewhere. Different names. ABU is caught in the web in this issue. |
Helloooooo.....
-ABU Statement of Result issued in 2000.
-Dino served in 1999.
-NYSC Certificate issued in 2001.
Something is not adding up here! |
kingsouthie:Incredible lie my brother! Can you imagine. Army maj tellin lie with a straight face. And there are leaders in Benue State, but they will never stand up against the injustice and bare face lies going on in that state, just to preserve their selfish interests. This is very shameful! |
Just take your time and read the report from the Maj and you will discover that, it is fake. A report from someone who is miles away from the remote area where the incident occurred, versus the one from an eyewitness. Something terrible is going on in this country. This issue of herdsmen needs the attention of NASS. |
@Pokipoki. You are so on point. Read my comment above. Changing tactics and being strategic is the crux of the matter here. |
1shortblackboy:Can you imagine! Dude has given a litany of measures taken by Ortom. The question is: How effective are the so-called measures? How long has this mess been going on? That response is not important. If you apply measures and they are yielding minimal or no result, change tactics. Take proactive and radical measures. Simple. |
MikeB3:EXACTLY! |
@Terver Akase. You are a big fool for writing that rubbish as a response to Wike. The crux of the matter is this. Those herdsmen are terrorists. The language of peace they don't understand or cherish. Tell Ortom to apply Fayose's measures. Extraordinary problems require extraordinary measures. Don't be daft! |
Wike is very correct! Ortom is incompetent. |
Thanks OP. |
HenryQuest:My thoughts EXACTLY! Benue State Governor is shameless. I don't just know what is actually stopping him from using his office to protect lives and properties in his state. Oh i remember! Political correctness. |
