Politics / Re: Peter Obi Video That Made Nigerian Youths To Support Him by Graysons: 1:20am On Aug 21, 2022
ezegold4we:
8 REASONABLE REASONS TO ELECT PETER OBI

1. Peter Obi is averse to waste

At the root of the poor infrastructural development all over Nigeria is criminal wastefulness, corruption and inflated contracts. Road or rail projects that can be done with N2 billion are inflated to N20 billion. The consequences of this is that projects go on forever and funds that would have been used to do 4 or 5 projects are spent on just 1 project.

A very good example is the Lagos light rail project. It was conceptualised by Jakande in the early 80s but still remains uncompleted till date, even after 23 years of APC/Tinubu unbroken stranglehold of Lagos State.

2. The people's president

Of the 3 main candidates, only Peter Obi is banking on the power of the people to get elected. Tinubu and Atiku are relying/relied heavily on the support of the delegates (bought with dollars), governors, senators, house of representatives and other structures of their political party to get elected.

The consequences of this is clear. If Peter Obi is elected, naturally he will take decisions that will benefit the overwhelming majority of Nigerians who voted him to power.

Unlike the other candidates who if elected will spend reasonable public funds and time to reward the structures that got them elected.

3. A visionary president
In 2023, we need a president who, while catering for the current generation and solving the myriads of the current problems, also plans for the future, our children and the unborn generation.

A president who realises that Nigeria will still be existing in 100 and 200 years to come and sets aside some funds for the future and unborn generations.

That is what Peter Obi represents, as he demonstrated in Anambra by saving some money for the future.

We do not need people who believe we should consume everything today and let the future take care of itself.

4. He is young, vibrant and energetic

With the plethora of problems plagueing Nigeria currently, we need a president that is relatively young, energetic and vibrant.

A president that has the physical and mental capacity to supervise the effective implementation of his programs and policies across all sectors simultaneously across the country.

A president with hands on approach on all the issues.

That is what Peter Obi represents.

5. A courageous president

We need a president who has the courage to take and implement critical decisions that can move Nigeria forward.

Peter Obi demonstrated great courage when he opted to be impeached as Anambra governor rather than deploy public funds to pacify the greedy lawmakers. It takes courage and conviction to take such risky personal political decision because the impeachment court case could have gone either way.

6. His message is clear and concise

His campaign message in all the media interviews has centred around reducing waste and moving Nigeria from consumption to production. This is very clear message that tackles the root cause of many of the problems bedevilling Nigeria today.

7. A president that communicates to Nigerians
So far, of the 3 main candidates, only Peter Obi has granted to several live TV interviews. It shows he is a believer in the power of communication. He believes you and I have the right to know.

Atiku only managed to grant a recorded interview while Tinubu has not granted any at all.

This time around, we need a president that has the confidence to speak to Nigerians directly about his policies and challenges if any. Enough of deaf and dumb Presidents, hijacked by cabals in Aso Villa.

8. A listening president

As governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi was always visiting schools, hospitals, etc to hear and feel the challenges. At some point, he gave his phone number to the school prefects to get direct feedbacks. This demonstrates that Peter Obi will be a listening president.

We don't need a president that will be hijacked by the Aso Rock cabal and only brought out once in 6 months to show proof of life.

In conclusion, 2023 presents another opportunity for you and I to choose a leader that will serve Nigeria and Nigerians in the next 4 to 8 years. For me, it is a very easy decision.

#ObiDatti 2023.
I am voting for Atiku

Something interesting to think about! Imagine Atiku finally becomes the President of Nigeria (If there are any chances that would happen) which of the four beautiful lady would stand as his first lady?
Or which do you think will actually be presentable as the Wife of a President.

- Dating Abubakar
- Princess Ruqayat
- Amina Titi Atiku Abubakar
- Jamila Atiku-Abubakar
Atiku stands 90% chances of being the president of Nigeria than peter obi,if you don't know. As it stands now, Nigeria has only two parties, PDP and APC. The rest are just online noise makers.

4. Oyo state

Although, Ekiti was ranked as the state with the highest number of professors in Nigeria, Oyo state still remains top when it comes to education in Nigeria. Oyo state hosts the first and best university in the country, the University of Ibadan. This school is very unique with immense quality plus fully accredited courses in all disciplines.

Many top private and government schools are in the locality of the state especially in the state’s capital, Ibadan. This has made the city to be ranked among the educational cities in the world. The prestigious LAUTECH with many other universities, polytechnics, colleges, primary/secondary schools and a seminary are within the state.

5. Rivers State

The University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State University of Technology, Port-Harcourt Polytechnic and the Rivers State College of Health Science are some of the prolific higher institutions in the state. Rivers is seen as one of the top most educated Nigerian state this 2020

6. Ogun state

Ogun is one of the state the has the highest educated personalities. Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Abiodun and many other literates are from this state.

The top-notch Covenant university is in the state not excluding Federal University of Agriculture,
Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye. Others are Tai Solarin College of Education, Federal Government College, Odogbolu, Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu, Bell’s University, Babcock University, Mountain Top University and Caleb University.

With these fully facilitated schools, you could conclude that the state is indeed educationally advanced.

7. Enugu state

Nigeria’s own University of Nigeria, Nsukka is located in the state. The region is an Igbo tribe settlement in the south-easthern part of the country.

When it comes to literacy, Enugu state came to be educationally inclined after a series of schools, the state’s university, ESUT and many other polytechnics with colleges. Enugu state university, ESUT is well equipped with class facilities to facilitate quality learning.

Other notable educational schools in the state are already mentioned Enugu State University of Technology and University of Nigeria, Nsukka following with Caritas University, Institute of Management Technology, Enugu and other top class schools.

The coal city state has a high literacy level of 96% due to its highly educational resources.

8. Delta state

Delta state sees education as a priority to solve the challenges of its rich oil and gas. There is the Film and Broadcast Academy, Ozoro, College of Education, Agbor, College of Education, Arondizuogu and Ahiara Polytechnic in the state to support the universities in the state.

The state plays host to many quality universities, polytechnics, secondary schools and colleges of learning. They include: Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun; Delta State University; Delta State Polytechnics and numbers of good secondary/ primary schools adding with the one we mentioned earlier.

9. Akwa-Ibom State

This is yet another most educated state in Nigeria and also a rich oil and gas producing state with high advancement in educational disciplines. The state which is located in the coastal region has most of her earnings from petroleum. And they have through it invest more in ensuring quality education that meets the world’s standards.

The well known higher schools in the State which are few to list: University of Uyo; Akwa-Ibom State University of Technology, Mkpat-Enin; Akwa-Ibom State Polytechnic has produced enough highly educationally inclined individuals to put the state in view.

10. Osun state

Osun is an educated state that is small ìn size, but home to more than five reliable universities. The schools here are both individual-owned, private and government which includes prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Bowen University, Adeleke University, the Redeemers University of Nigeria, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and the Osun State University.

Conclusion

A critical look at the educational system in the country, we could see that Northern part of Nigeria is lagging behind, and it has become a issue for the governments till date. Economically endowed and popular states like Kano and Kaduna are still not able to listed as most educated states. The reason for this backwardness of the Northerners on education is because of the multi population in this areas.

Educational attainment in the country can go a long way to addressing the development of our local communities. This notion was also stressed by Cinda Klickna, President of the Illinois Education Association in a quote, “Every community can attract and retain quality workers, build an economic engine, and increase productivity, but these all rely on a strong focus on education.”

With the country having an ever-increasing population, there is a need to get more than half-educated, so as not to also increase the rate of illiteracy.

So, if you look at the statistics of education in Nigeria, you will see that the state of the plateau is the northernmost [/s]

Most of the States you mention are either burning little children all in the name of witch craft, or eating human organs for money ritual. This is the dumbest post I've ever seen.
