NLC never existed during Oshiomhole, NLC rather existed before Oshiomhole. He was so corrupt during that time but people didn't know. He never successfully fight for the people but for only his pocket and his cohorts. If na lie, show me two or more agitation brought up by Oshiomhole led NLC that sees the light of the day. None sailed through. After misleading people and make a whole lot of noise and criticise govt of the day, they still call him to the back stage and shut his mouth with bribes, and enrich him, then when he comes out of the closed door meetings with FG then he change the tune of the music by persuading the people to give FG some more time things will improve and that will be the end.

When he became the gov of Edo State, he did nothing for workers until in 2016 when he increased the salary of workers from N18,000 after spending 7 years in office and towards the end of his tenure, when he already knew his tenure will be ending this year, he suddenly realised that there need for him to stamp his name on Edo workers record that during his time he increased their salaries but that's politics if u ask me. If you have the love of people at heart as the former NLC president, why did it takes u 7 years to increase the salaries of workers in your state, considering the fact that you were once an NLC president and you were suppose to know and feel the plight of the poor workers? Please correct me if I am wrong. The drop in naira value sequel to the increase in fuel price to 145naira is as a result of the following:

Fuel has been scarce all these months because importers had to "queue" at CBN to buy dollars at 199naira so as to reduce their procurement costs and consequently sell affordably to the masses. Even at that, the CBN still gives them limited amount of dollars which is insufficient to meet the needs of the masses, hence the scarcity of fuel (and hoarding by filling station operators to sell to the highest bidders).

Now, with the increased price of fuel, importers are now free to source for dollars from the black market thereby making it available to the masses, but, unfortunately, at higher prices. This increased demand for dollars by the importers has now put great strain on the naira, devaluing it greatly.

Then I sincerely believe NLC should direct all their energies to fight for the increase of salaries of workers. I think that's what NLC should be concerned about now, workers welfare.

At lease FG should use the money saved up as a result of fuel subsidy removal to pay salaries year in, year out and govs must never have any silly excuse ever again as to owing any worker a kobo any longer. If NLC can have that assurance and exercise patient. If they wait for like 6 months for example and govs still owe salaries then they should protest. Because as it is now FG or gov should not even have excuse of owing workers salaries in any month.

No one is saying whether or not Ameachi is a thief or a saint.
