If the same thing happened to me in Nigeria and I happen to be helpless, I would do exactly the same thing.
And you won't get any help as she didn't in this case too. How can anyone be on the side of someone who disrespected her body in public in that manner? Its like a prostitute screaming someone rapes her. How will anyone take her serious? But when you get a decent job and get a decent life style all together if u scream rape, a lot of people will come to your defense. Abeg let he deal with her issue her way. She should try to call police instead of social networking website like this. Don't wash your dirty linen in public. That's another disrespect on herself, by coming to public like this. A lot of people see her face already and stuff.

Are you okay huh That she posted her pics online so the guy wouldn't have any other tool to blackmail her shows she might actually be telling the truth.

What kind of brains do NLers have for crying out loud?!
Yes I am 100% ok, you should ask yourself that question. Bleep the truth she might have to say. Her nude pix posted by herself on here have negated everything. I am not talking about the man. I didn't even refer to the man actions yet on my earlier post. So therefore I never said the man was right, of course, he was so wrong. I just first of all have to talk about an aspect where she disrespected herself by doing such damage to herself with those nude pix she posted. If u claim someone disrespect you and you disrespect yourself also, it means you have no moral right. First of all, you must carry yourself well, respect yourself before anyone will take you serious and respect your personality.

If you do disrespect yourself, and expect people to respect you you're only a fool chasing shadow. You don't command respect that way, you must first of all respect yourself before people will see u in that light. Imagine, Cossy or Maheeda coming out to accuse some posting their nude picture, tell me who will take them serious. They might win in court though if the have good case before the law with great evidence, but the public won't take them serious. Because in the first instance they have no respect for their body. They are found of posting their nude pictures all by themselves on public space, so no one will therefore take them serious. Carry yourself well and people will respect you for your great personality.
PoliticsRe: FG Is Right On Fuel Subsidy Removal by greatman247(m): 7:45am On May 14, 2016
DesChyko:
The plain reality is that Jonathan was right. Unfurling layers after layers of semantics doesn't coat your double-standards.

Meanwhile, in one breath, you ridicule him for not saving during the days of boom. In another breath, you post this:

Make up your mind
No one ridiculed him, the truth is he actually did not save during the oil boom and he met $47 billion and depleted it to $27 billion, even his then minister of finance attested to that fact, even though later she blamed it on gov at the time. But the truth is GEJ was a weak leader. A good leader still supposed to stand on his ground and save.

He was so weak even though he was so right with the fuel subsidy removal in 2012. He actually meant well but still he was not trusted by Nigerians with the country's economy based on the above.

He was so scared of the then Senate for fear of being impeached thereby doing their bidding at the detriment of the Nigerian people that voted him. But Buhari confronted them most times when he feels they are wrong.

GEJ was so weak, the same padding that happened during Buhari era now happened in GEJ's time too but he signed the Budget into law and after he was threatening them that he will punish anyone seen to be lobbying for contract in the budget. A good President don't suppose to sign such Budget. A good president should fight corruption by not signing and punish the culprit before signing not after signing. Buhari punished the civil servants guilty in the padding of the 2016 Budget and redeployed them, even though not enough and stood his ground against the Senate by refusing to sign the 2016 Budget despite the public outcry, then Senate succumb in the end by removing some of the padding from the 2016 Budget. Because he knows if he goes ahead to sign the padded 2016 Budget and something happens tomorrow, the Senate will dissociate themselves away from Buhari and then deny him. He was so aware to their ploy.

Another issue where they have pressurised Buhari to devalue the Naira, he said they should convince him that Devaluation of Naira is healthy to Nigeria economy. He stood his ground despite pressures and things were falling apart, if it was to be GEJ he would have devalue the Naira due to pressure even not necessarily what he feels is right to do in his mind. And yet some people call Buhari dull.

Leadership to me is NOT so much about your level of education, I really think, leadership is more about experience. How much of experience you can bring to the table not your level of education. Buhari has experienced it before to know Devaluation of Naira offer no good to the citizens.

A good leader should sometimes stand his ground even though not all the time. Because when things go wrong its the leader they will blame not the followers in 99% cases. So a good leader should guard his govt jealously and consult wild before taking decision in sensitive matters.

For posting your own nude pix in the first place thus goes a long way to show that you don't have any respect for your body. For you to earn respect from anybody, you must give respect to yourself first. With this silly act of yours now, tell me the fool that will fight for you now, as you have rightly said that you will stand for yourself, pls do and let's see how far that will take you. You have sold off your rights by yourself already.

PoliticsRe: NUPENG And PENGASSAN Support Petrol Price Increase by greatman247(m):
The oil Unions have spoken. NLC should go and sit down and be calm. To everyone saying subsidy removal under GEJ was rejected and accepted under Buhari thereby calling those people hypocrites. Well I know GEJ was absolutely right and meant well during that period and most persons were brain washed then and only few persons were this perceived hypocrites. I mean the real hypocrites were those people around GEJ. They were so corrupt and thereby making the citizens of Nigerians not to trust them at all. The people don't trust GEJ with the policy of subsidy removal not because GEJ was a bad man, he actually meant so well for Nigerian Citizens but the people around him were thieves that people don't trust. They trust Buhari now that's why the policy of subsidy removal sailed through. If NLC stage any protest on subsidy removal now it won't hold any water cos the people don't believe them anymore. They deceived the people for so long. We know better now. I think NLC should concentrate more on putting pressure on govt to increase salaries to N56,000 or even more, something like N100,000. Its high time, they push for this. I know FG will still upwardly review the salary structure away from N18,000 but don't know exactly how much it will be but higher. If nothing like this happens. If NLC stage protest then the people will support them. It should be give and take situation so govt must increase the salary of workers now that they have increase fuel price to N145.

My friend poverty is the real evil not money. When one is broke that when your mind and hand will be idle. And that is when you will be angry, jealousy and greed sets it. That is when you'll decide to rob others of their property, wicked the next man, that's when you'll pick on people to be enemies with, that's when all your friends will see you as liability and thereby run away from you, that's when u can't even visit some choices places, that is when u are not given the opportunity speak in public, that is when no one gives you the opportunity to do certain things, that's when no one believes in you, that when u fall sick, that's when the landlord will come knocking, a lot of problem and a lot of bills will need to be paid, a lot of ideas and dreams to be fulfilled but no capital. But when u have money, you be a lot happy, friendly with others and have more friends. And do all the stuff you couldn't do when you are broke. Money is good men...

Those that sponsored Buhari did not take from CBN to fund his campaign group, even though they may not be saint too. Unlike what these people are doing. They deep their filthy hands into the money Nigerians entrusted to them anyhow to fund election they wanted to win at all cost and yet they still failed woefully. Thank God GEJ did not eventually won that election. If he has won, all the money we have been hearing they invested the PDP members will want to first of all take back all the money they invested before ruling. Thereby the hardship will are encountering now would have been triple. Bunch of thieves. They should pay for all their wrong doings. Even if its APC member found wanting too, he should pay.

I know when Buhari leaves office too and PDP get back to power, PDP will probe APC members too. This is very good for democracy, its a good foundation Buhari govt is laying to probe now. The next govt will think twice before stealing from Nigeria with the fear of probe in mind. But for now, PDP members that steal from Nigeria should face the music, until when the table turns. Let's wait until then.

GEJ was a very weak president, he too dey send and too dey look Uche face, that's why a lot of people messed his govt up. He just talk and didn't carry out much actions. A good leader will stand on his word and never sign such budget like Buhari did. But GEJ signed finish he come dey give dem voice, that to me, na medicine after death.

A good leader must be discipline. That young man that says GEJ should have sign the 2012 budget into law so as not to hold Nigeria to ransom, its obvious you don't make good enough research before you write. GEJ's Budget signings delayed more than Buhari's.

GEJ signed 2011 Budget on May
27, 2013 Budget on May 24, 2015 Budget was signed May 19th and Buhari signed 2016 Budget into law on May 06 2016.

GEJ shouldn't have signed it into law, he should have brought perpetrator to book, by now the issue of padding would have been a thing of the past. Now that Buhari resisted their wicked move to pad the budget of 2016, such thing will reduce in 2017 and gradually fade out and if he keeps fighting them to standstill there will be no more padding in the subsequent budget of Nigeria even after Buhari's govt.

Buhari na the best president Nigeria ever have now. I don't know about the nearest future, until then. But from time past till now so far he is the best. I careless what anyone has to say to quote me.

CrimeRe: Woman Steals A Customer's Bag In Lekki Shop (pictured) by greatman247(m): 11:28am On May 10, 2016

That's d cause of poverty
Stealing does not cause poverty. Politician that steals trillions tell me how he want broke again for the rest of his life? He invest the ill-gotten wealth and maximise profits and yet most churches invite him to their programs and he gets acknowledged at every programs and yet the man that works hard have a dinner date with poverty. Stealing leads to self distractions simple.

Whichever way you see it, don't also blame stealing on poverty. Stealing is caused by so many reasons. But I will use one as most common example aside poverty being the root cause of stealing. In most stealing no be poverty be the root cause. Some are caused by greed. Meaning the person might have before but still want more, in the case of most politicians. Some of them might be millionaires and striving to become billionaires and thereby stealing more than they can save and spend for their entire lives. Some might be billionaires before getting into power then they will want to strive to become trillionaires. Some steal to compete with one another. If some decide not to steal his family might even disown him, telling him u have every opportunities to enrich our family with the public money but u go there go dey form holy. That's d kind of society we find ourselves. In this part of the world stealing or corruption is like norm to us but the new govt is gradually changing that perspective.

Most disciplinarians and rich individuals can discipline other people children but they mostly failed to effectively discipline their own children and wards. Such a shame. This often happens to big pastors, police men, govt officials, judges, lawyers, doctors, scholars, executives, entrepreneurs, politicians, billionaires etc. This happens mostly because they fail to create time for their kids and family.

PoliticsRe: Femi Falana On Channels TV Today: 7 Points He Made by greatman247(m): 10:36am On May 10, 2016
MasterofNL:
I don't think you reason well.

Can you point out a single lie in all that he said?
The man you quote is entitled to his own opinion and you have no moral right to question his sense of reasoning.

I agree with Falana on almost all the points he made but I totally disagreed with two of his points.

1. That IGP is not competent.

2. That military have no right to advise civilians on how to secure their lives in a democratic govt. And that military has no business in fighting Fulani Herdsmen in a democratic govt.

For God sake I watched the program too on Channels Tv. You can't say, military does not have to be use in the fight against the Fulani Herdsmen in a democratic govt.

Sometimes, our democracy need to be handle with strong hands else some bunch of fools will categorise on our weak democracy to still destroy the over protected democracy. We need strong laws that will guide against somethings in our society to be incorporate into our constitution for somethings to work.

America practised the same democracy too, and yet they used military to bring down Osama Bin Laden, and this does not happen during any war. It happens when Osama was in his relax mood, thinking all coast were cleared and no one was trailing him. Most times, you don't wait for something to degenerate into war before you act. Unless you want several lives to be lost.

I don't care how a problem is tackled, all I am after is just kill the problem before the problem kills you. I don't really care what means you use, use any means necessary. The same Falana complained during GEJ era that he did nothing against Boko-Haram, and now He hailed President Buhari for the progress he made tackling Boko Haram with military in democratic govt. That's to me is hypocrite. Why on earth will you now say Military should not be use to tackle the Fulani Herdsmen in a democratic govt? Do we fold our harms and watch innocent people die without doing anything? Sometime, some issue might be beyond the power of police then the military can come in. Like the issue of Boko-Haram. Can the Police face the Boko Haram? Why don't u suggest Police should face Boko Haram? Why should u now recommend that Police should be the only one to face the Fulani Herdsmen? What about Niger Delta Avengers hurting the whole Nigeria thinking they are hurting the govt alone? For the fact that you are a prominent does not means whatever you say is always right.

Military are necessary even though not all the time. If a democratic govt is so weak, if things are going wrong in the land, if there's so much corruption in the land military can seize power, there has been sizable evidence of this in some African countries. So the same military you refused to use to curb the menace of Fulani Herdsmen will topple a democratic govt who fails to tackle such issue and allow it get out of hands. For example if you use police and they fail and issue of Fulani Herdsmen gets out of hands military may topple such weak govt. This is why most democratic govt have woke up from their slumber to start involving military to tackle issues on time before they generate into something more serious. There are some issues that are way beyond Police. Police were on ground in Enugu and yet what happened?

President Buhari understands the 3rd world countries democracy, he knows if he use military they will talk and if he didn't they will still criticise that's why he is at a crossroad. Presidents use military, because in America they don't say because we are practising democracy we shouldn't use some form of military actions when necessary but its in this part of the world we still put everything in the hands of police and when things get out of hand we will be in state of confusion.

Now on the issue of IGP. I really think the IGP is very competent, to me he is the best Nigeria has ever have in recent years. For the fact that some Police fail or there are still bad eggs in the Police force does not means the IGP is not competent. So long the number of effective and efficient Police force outweigh the number of bad eggs and the number of the inefficient and ineffective ones. The IGP has brought some sanity to NPF and made the force to be a bit more attractive compare to what it used to be. I was passing through Police barrack in Ikeja, Lagos and I saw dilapidated buildings and almost share tears. This same IGP is currently building some houses for the Police Force and they are still under-construction. This man does not stay put in his office in Abuja most of the time when something happens. He goes to scene of crimes. He punishes police that are corrupt and that have commit any offence that provoke public outcry, all these were not in place before now. Before now, policeman can kill because of N20 and such policeman will go scot-free, in some case his colleagues might even cover him up and kill the case. The same IGP stop fees for bail even though some bad eggs still charge fee for bail but they do that to citizens that doesn't know of this info. The same IGP changed the dirty looking uniform of the police, and the same IGP tries to bring the police closer to the public to make them more friendly to the public. Before now, public have very bad perspective of the police. Some people won't even go to Police in time of trouble but now all these are gradually changing. Now police are paying attention to even the smallest details. The same IGP has improve the welfare of Police and promote them as at when due and reward them according to their performance too. Police is efficient nowadays. Lagos for example, police is making crime rate to reduce, some fools that kidnap for ransom are no more finding the business attractive. I don't like Police too before but I can see their work now. So truth must be told at all times, don't just criticise be face reality.
