Politics / Tompolo Led Offensive Against The Navy & JTF Oil Theft Conspiracy" - Edafe Akpof by Greatpoet(m): 6:32pm On Aug 05, 2023 |
"The Current Onslaught By Tompolo Led Offensive Against The Navy & JTF Conspiracy In The Oil Theft In Nigeria" - Edafe Akpofore In a recent press statement published by 2023.ng, Edafe Akpofore of the 'Concerned Niger Deltans In Diaspora' expressed concerns over the involvement of the Nigerian NAVY and Joint Task Force conspiracy in the oil theft ravaging Nigeria. His statement outline setting factors that make their involvement clear. "While it's becoming obvious that the oil theft in Nigeria is as old as our Independence;the reality that is now clear to all can be summarised as follows: 1. All the indigenous oil and gas producing players have been cutting corners and depriving the nation and their various host communities by exporting their crude without recourse to known procedure for accountability. Reason why some of them have multiple private jets they don't need and retinue of security details to shield them from known & unknown enemies they have created. 2. The Security & Millitary personnel from the rank and file have been in the forefront of these cancerous crime against this nation and most especially the people of the Niger Delta and still have the effortentry to challenge A Man Like Tompolo that has dared them and their Endemic quest for direct looting of our commonwealth in collaboration with Personnel of the various oil and gas companies. 3. If the threats by the Navy & JTF Personnel to eliminate Tompolo for standing firm against these agents of sabotage to our livelihood and environment is not addressed by Mr President then the real War between the Millitary and people of the Niger Delta will be inevitable. 4. The Various collaborative efforts of these legalised thieves in government regulatory agencies and asset owners are known to our group, and we will not spare them in our efforts to bring real sanity & development to our people."he concluded.

Politics / Timi Frank To Appeal Court: Reject INEC’s Request To Reconfigure BIVAS by Greatpoet(m): 2:31pm On Mar 07, 2023 |
Press Release 7/3/23 Timi Frank to Appeal Court: Reject INEC’s request to reconfigure BIVAS A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Tuesday, called on the Appeal Court to reject a request by the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, seeking an order of court to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) machines. The court had issued the orders in the ruling it gave on Friday, granting permission to Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to inspect the sensitive materials used for the conduct of the presidential election. Yakubu, in his motion before the court, said the order needed variation to enable it to deploy the machines for the Saturday, March 11, 2023, Governorship and State Houses of Assembly election. But Frank, in a statement in Abuja, urged the Justices of the Appeal Court not to vary its orders nor grant INEC’s request to reconfigure the BIVAS machines. He said that the request was a ploy to INEC tamper with evidence against the substantive order of the court that barred the Commission from tampering with the BIVAS and other sensitive election materials yet to be inspected by Atiku and Obi. He insisted that if the request of INEC is approved by the Court, then all necessary data needed to prove the massive rigging in the just concluded Presidential election would be lost as they would fraudulently and deliberately be deleted by the Electoral umpire. Frank, who is the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) Ambassador to East Africa and Middle East, said: “I hereby urge the Appeal Court not to vary its orders nor accede to the request of INEC to reconfigure the BIVAS machines. “The request of INEC in all its ramifications is anti-people, ungodly, preposterous, jejune and beyond imagination. “It is a poly by INEC to hide and bury germane evidence that would enable the various opposition parties to prove their election petition cases before the courts. “The Appeal Court must realise that the outcome of this case would show whether it is on the side of the suffering and impoverished Nigerians or against them. “This is a man who told the whole world that INEC was ready for the two elections and that the BIVAS was already configured for the two election, why this sudden change of mind and request for reconfiguration if not to destroy key evidence and hide the evil the commission perpetrated during the Presidential and National Assembly election forever? “The Appeal Court justices should know that the outcome of the last presidential election is most unfortunate and painful, and Nigerians are still trying heal. “Therefore, Nigerians believe they will do substantial justice by rejecting the request of INEC to tamper with the BIVAS. “The court must not by any means add salt to the injury already inflicted on the people by INEC through a compromised election and manipulated results. “We insist that there is absolutely no need for the Court of Appeal to vary its orders nor grant the request of INEC until after the BIVAS and other sensitive election materials used for the Presidential election have been digitally and forensically inspected by the aggrieved parties as already ordered by court.” According to the Bayelsa-born political activist, “if there is anything that needs reconfiguration, it is Yakubu’s brain and the INEC he presides over that conducted the worst election in the history of Nigeria and not the BIVAS machines used for the last election which are yet to be inspected by aggrieved political parties as ordered by the Appeal Court.” END Signed: Comrade Timi Frank ULMWP Ambassador to East Africa and Middle East 1 Like

Politics / Timi Frank Urges INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood To Resign by Greatpoet(m): 2:31pm On Mar 06, 2023 |
Press Release 6/3/23 Timi Frank urges INEC Chairman, Yakubu to resign A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Monday, called on the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),Prof. Mahmood Yakubu to as a matter of urgency resign of his appointment or President Muhammadu Buhari should do the needful by relieving him of his position for conducting the worst ever rigged election in the history of Nigeria. He called on President Buhari to be courageous enough to sack Professor Yakubu for bringing shame and opprobrium to the country by declaring highly compromised and heavily doctored results as an outcome for the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections Frank who made this call in a statement in Abuja said it is high time the INEC boss resigned because Nigerians have lost total confidence in him. “We are supposed to be the light and example in Africa but with the dismal conduct of INEC and its officials during the last Presidential and National Assemby elections, other countries in the continent absolutely have nothing to learn from us because of what Yakubu and INEC have done,” he said. He insisted that despite the avalanche of facts of rigging and manipulation that characterised the Presidential and National Assembly elections available in huge volume of videos, audios and documentary evidences yet Yakubu went ahead to declare the APC’s Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as winner. He said:“Nigerians have lost confidence in Yakubu. His words and his promises mean nothing. He has started again by promising free and fair governorship and State Assembly elections but Nigerians are no fools because they know he will do exact the opposite. “Prof. Yakubu has shown himself to be a practical disgrace to Nigeria and has brought shame, disgrace and embarrassment to Nigerians in the global community. Today, Nigeria is now a laughing stock among members of the international community. “Even in 1993 without the use of technology, Nigeria conducted an election adjudged as the freest and fairest ever. But in an age of advanced technology like internet and BIVAS in 2023, Yakubu chosed to compromise the oath of his office and obviated every truth and betrayed the confidence reposed in him by Nigerian taxpayers. “Even at that time, the then Chairman of the defunct National Electoral Commission, Prof. Humphrey Nwosu, was asked to stop announcing results by then Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, but he continued because he stood on the platform of truth and living conscience. “This is why he needs to urgently resign or President Buhari should show capacity to throw him out.” He called on the academia to strip Prof. Yakubu of his professorship rank because he has brought shame to that highly revered and top echelon of the academic community and scholars. Yakubu has failed to project the academia in good light through personal probity, integrity and fidelity to his promises and sacred trust of the people Frank who is the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) Ambassador to East Africa and Middle East, also urged the International Community to review and reverse all his current VISA status. He enjoined them to do the needful by canceling all visas he presently holds and never give him opportunity to visit any of the developed countries like United States, United Kingdom or any member countries of the European Union. He said that the election conducted by Yakubu has failed to meet international threshold of transparency and credibility and all friends of Nigeria must of necessity denounce it. For instance, the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard in a statement on Sunday unequivocally stated that it is clear that the electoral process as a whole on February 25 failed to meet Nigerians’ expectations.” She added that while “many citizens are angry and frustrated with the results, some others are celebrating victories, they believe were hard-fought and well-earned.” He added: “We also use this opportunity to call on international community especially the US, UK, EU and other international institutions not to recognize the outcome of the rigged and fraudulent elections conducted on February 25, 2023. “This is the time Nigerians expect the international community to prioritize the interest of Nigeria first before their own interest in order to save our democracy. “In this wise, they must not recognize the APC’s purported President-elect until the final outcome of the cases in court.” “We still use this opportunity to call on the judiciary to remove Nigeria from this shame through truthful, fact-based and unbiased judgement on the post election cases soon to be instituted before the Election Petition Tribunals and the appellate courts.” END Signed: Comrade Timi Frank ULMWP Ambassador to East Africa and Middle East
