Because you formated and installed win 10 some drivers have been lost. There is a driver responsible for the finger print scanner and the top of the screen light.
You have to update the drivers. You can get the CD called driver pack or use internet to update.
It's a simple procedure, especially if you have installed new O.S on systems severally like me.
