1. Search for BTC/USDT
2. Click on Sell
3. Input the price BTC will get to trigger your limit order
4. Click on 100% or any percentage of your choice
5. Look below and you'll see the equivalence in Dollar
6. Look below again and click on Sell BTC

After it has sold the BTC to USDT, the conversion is done. There are different ways to convert, but prefer this method.

Now, click on Wallets or Assets and find your BTC address via the deposit button.
Please what does this 25,75,100 percent really represents?

Both make profit. You can buy when it's low and leave — if you're busy with other things in your life.

You can buy and trade — if you're less busy.

Both HODLers and traders make money. Who makes more? The early adopters and the patient hodlers or patient traders.

Everyone makes money and everyone loses money no matter the approach you use. All that matters is knowing when to take profit or when to leave.

Best way is to transfer USDT from Binance to KuCoin.

1. Click Assets on KuCoin, select Deposit and select USDT.
2. Make sure you select TRC20 Network and then copy the wallet address.
3. Go Bitcoin, select Withdraw, use USDT(You must have USDT in your wallet), Paste the wallet address you copied from KuCoin, select TRC20 if it's not automatically selected for you.
Enter the amount of USDT you want to withdraw.

And click Withdraw.

If successful, you would receive the USDT in your KuCoin wallet in few minutes.

4. Transfer the USDT from your asset wallet to trading wallet on KuCoin and trade for any coin of yours.

Do not use ERC20 network because of high transfer fees!

There are many trading/investment strategies; my brief opinion on a few:

Futures- Very stressful, subject to liquidation and constant manipulation. Profitable for insiders, you on the other hand, will often get rekt.

Day trading- Also pretty stressful and time consuming. With the short time frames, typical best case scenario you risk losing 5% to make 25% for example. Not worth it.

Trading micro cap shitcoins- EXTREMELY risky and in my experience lead to a 10-20% success rate which is low for my liking. I typically only touch these if I know the team, liquidity is locked and I want to gamble with a small amount.

Long hold large caps- Simplest, arguably safest option IF you catch the market at the right time, typically lower R/R.

Swinging small-med caps- My favorite; time frame is weeks to months, usually a bit higher risk compared to large caps, but not necessarily if you really understand what you’re buying. These are typically in their infancy (obviously don’t buy dead 2017 coins) with partnerships, listings and many developments yet to come, which often serve as price catalysts and lead to relatively quick multiples if you can handle the volatility.

P.S.: Staking- I will only do this if I also see inevitable upside on my principle. I never lock up tokens to earn 5%-60% APR if I feel my principle is at decent risk of -50% over the following months.

Though some people use fundamental analysis to determine when a coin will rise, but its not a guarantee because someone as wealthy as elun musk can change that scenerio for you. Elun musk did it with dogecoin, ordinary twitter post, people started rushing dogecoin and before you know, ordinary dogecoin that was around #2 flew to almost #40..

Though, there's what we call a pump call. You can swing trade and exit when you have accumulated enough profit. For example, binance wants to list a coin, you can go to another exchange and buy the coin so that when binance finally list it, you will be in profit..

I hope you understand a little with this point of mine grin

SavageResponse:
In my opinion cryptocurreency is not an advisable way to store your entire wealth.

The value will not continue to rise forever, at some point it will experience a correction and prices will start to fall!

Apart from this there are a lot of scams in the crypto space. If you don't know anything about crypto it will be foolish for you to go and dump your entire life saving there unless you want to cry premium tears.

My advise to you is to open a US$ dom account with a Tier 1 bank in Nigeria viz GTBank, Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Access Bank and keep your money there.

Note...don't chat up anyone here to discuss your finances. By doing so you have exposed your identity and put yourself at risk because the person now has your phone number.

Anyone who wants to give you assistance regarding the process of conversion to cryptocurrency can list out the procedure here on Nairaland
Indeed ds is savage response to the OP... kudos

santakris:
Imagine for a minute that you are a trained soldier.

In fact, a Lieutenant.

You have a wife and two kids.

Now, imagine that during the quarterly rotation, you were sent to Bornu to fight insurgence (Boko Haram)

On this fateful day, as you were moving with your platoon.

There was an ambush.

Gun fire ensured.

You shot with all you've got.
You know that you have a slim chance of surviving the attack.

As you were running out of ammo, you called john, your buddy, for fresh supply.

No response.

You glanced and saw John's head split into two halves.
By your left is Barry, his torso turn and one of his arm lying 10 ft away.

With nothing to fight with, you made a run for it and took a deep dive into the abondoned crater while bullets were getting fired at you.

You passed out

When you woke, you saw yourself in the hospital.

The doctor came in.

"Officer, you are awake, we did an emergency surgery. We had to amputate you"

We are sorry.

You then asked.

'What of my team mates ?"

"Well, you lost 18 men and 2 survivors", the doctor replied. "You and Barry.

Barry is still in intensive care."

Now, 3 months later, at the defence headquarters.

Your commanding officer, General Gida told you. "You are back, lieutenant "

"Good news!

We rounded up all the terrorist that attacked your platoon after in another battle confrontation."

They are now in rehabilitation center.

"Can I see them?" you asked

'Sure!'

You got wheeled to the center.

They opened the door.

And yes.

'There they are!'

Across the hall, Young men in white flowing gowns were eating fried and Jellof rice with multiple chicken parts.
Some were drinking wine.

Laughter filled the air.
Having a ball.

You were told they will soon be taken abroad on scholarship.

Government sponsored.

As you were getting back to the generals office.

Just outisde the defence headquarters gate, you saw the wives of your team, now widowed, as they agitate with high voices and placards.

"We have been abandoned!"
"Pay us our husbands benefits!"
"We are hungry"

Just imagine all that.

------

It is the reality of a Nigerian Soldier in the corridor of terrorism.

festacman:
Late Yinka Odumakin and Bola Ahmed Tinubu used to be political associates until Tinubu decided that he needed to be independent of AFENIFERE in order to be a political giant like late Pa Obafemi Awolowo.

But the two Yoruba political giants share little in common. For you to stick around Pa Awolowo, you needed to have a significant level of intellectual content, share ideological affinity with him and demonstrate absolute loyalty.
But for you to stick around Tinubu, the emphasis is less on your intellectual content and ideological affinity but more on how strategic you are to his political goals, your absolute loyalty and your connection with the grassroots.

That is why Awolowo had DISCIPLES but Tinubu has BENEFICIARIES.

May the soul of Yinka Odumakin rest in peace.

PoliticsRe: OjBest: How Osinbajo Met And Patronized A Local Shoemaker After A Tweet (Photos) by greenalwaz: 6:11pm On Mar 29, 2021
murecool:
The VP’s official photographer, Tolani Alli captures this development in 6 P’s.

I: Providence
It is more than a mere act of divine arrangement, providence works with intense intentionality.

Story Time: So this guy, OjBest, tweeted at the @profosinbajo about his shoe craft and while it’s not always likely he sees these things, he saw this one.

Oj wanted to gift him a shoe & also use that opportunity to further expose his craftsmanship to the world. Remember shoot your shot(he did), it worked out and @profosinbajo even ordered a pair of a sandal he likes to wear and provided a sample for OJ

II: Preparation

Providence loves to work with preparation. Unknown to OjBest, he met a VP prepared to embrace his story, especially if there was quality to back it up. You see @profosinbajo is very loud when it comes to championing Made in Nigeria for Export (MINE) products.

To him, it's more than another government policy to elevate MSMEs, he really believes in it. He buys Nigerian to use, not for optics.

III: Proficiency

Providence, like a lake, loves to empty itself into the ocean of proficiency. Standing before the right person is great, but you MUST be proficient enough to offer unmistakable value and quality, that’s your staying power (more on this later).

Yes “shoot your shot”, but is your shot quality?

IV: Prose

Words matter and regardless of your religion predilection, many can identify with Proverbs Chapter 22:29 "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings".

I am sure a lot of you have always translated this verse largely for the luxury of prose and candor. However, this experience made me have a rethink. To stand before Kings, can it mean more than that? Can it be to receive kingly insight to becoming a king in your own right?

OjBest offered to gift the shoes to the VP; but the VP insisted on paying for the service offered and then went on to use the moment to imprint on him about always knowing and stating your value in order to succeed as an Entrepreneur.

IV Projection

There was skepticism. "He won't wear it", voices said of the VP. See, people don’t always project who you are, they project who THEY think you are or worse, who they think you should be. Zero out of 10 times though, they are wrong.

The VP did wear the shoes today and will almost certainly wear more shoes from Oj (see my prior point on staying power).
The words that came to my heart when I noticed him wearing the shoes today on his way to a meeting in the garden?! He walks his talk.

VI: Parting Point

Seldom listen to skepticism when your gun is loaded with powder...this is your value on your journey to greatness. Greatness if you succeed and lesson that will shape your greatness if you don’t.

Good evening.

An old teacher was being interviewed by a young professional. The professional started interviewing the teacher as planned earlier.

Young professional - "Sir, in your last lecture, you told us about "Contact" and "Connection."
It's really confusing. Can you explain?"

The old teacher smiled and apparently deviating from the question asked the young professional:

"Are you from this city?"

professional : "Yeah..."

Teacher : "Who are there at home?"

The professional felt that the teacher was trying to avoid answering his question since this was a very personal and unwarranted question. Yet the young professional said: "Mother had expired. Father is there. Three brothers and one sister. All married..."

The old teacher, with a smile on his face, asked again: "Do you talk to your father?"

The young professional looked visibly annoyed...

The old teacher : "When did you talk to him last?"

The young professional, supressing his annoyance said: "May be a month ago."

The old teacher : "Do your brothers and sisters meet often? When did you meet last as a family gathering?"

At this point, sweat appeared on the forehead of the young professional.

It seemed that the old teacher was interviewing the young professional.

With a sigh, the Journalist said: "We met last at Eid two years ago."

The old teacher : "How many days did you all stay together?"

The young professional (wiping the sweat on his brow) said: "Three days..."

Old teacher : "How much time did you spend with your Father, sitting right beside him?"

The young professional looking perplexed and embarassed and started scribbling something on a paper...

The old teacher : "Did you have breakfast, lunch or dinner together? Did you ask how he was? Did you ask how his days are passing after your mother's death?"

Drops of tears started to flow from the eyes of the young professional.

*The old teacher held the hand of the young professional and said: "Don't be embrassed, upset or sad. I am sorry if I have hurt you unknowingly... But this is basically the answer to your question about "Contact and Connection ." You have 'Contact' with your father but you don't have 'Connection' with him. You are not connected to him. Connection is between heart and heart...*
*Sitting together, sharing meals and caring for each other, touching, shaking hands, having eye contact, spending some time together... All your brothers and sisters have 'Contact' but no 'Connection' with each other..."*

The young professional wiped his eyes and said : "Thanks Sir for teaching me a fine and unforgettable lesson."

This is the reality today.
Whether at home or in the society everybody has lots of contacts but there is no connection. Everybody is busy in his or her own world. ...

*Let us not maintain just "Contacts" but let us remain "Connected." Caring, Sharing and Spending time with all our dear ones.

*Who is afraid of the Nigerian Youths Revolution?*

Last night the Federal Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed was on the National Television, the NTA, ostensibly to educate Nigerians on what the Buhari government has done to pacify the EndSars Nigerian Youths protesters.

Maybe due to the weight of the subject or the scare most the government people have received since the protests started, Mr. Lai Mohammed, looked pale and sickly. He was beside himself without his usual gift of sophistry. And he, of course, laboured hard to do justice to the topic.

I was not convinced in the least. I do not know about you.

During the course of the programme, Alhaji Lai kept repeating the fact that the government had granted all the requests of the protesters and yet they have refused to leave the streets and allow for a free flow of human and vehicular traffic.

He even went as far using the unfortunate incident at Osun State involving Governor Gboyega Oyetola as a case study that the protests have been hijacked by what he called, " the enemies of the country". And he, like other highly placed Nigerians and the beneficiaries of the lopsided system Nigeria operates, is frantically looking for the the sponsors of the EndSars Movement.

In a note of resignation, Lai Mohammed who eventually occupied a major portion of today's Radio Nigerian news with his preachment on the futility of continuing with the protests, asked, "What do the protesters want?"

I will answer him right away.

Mr. Lai Mohammed, Nigerian Youths are tired of the system that has made Nigerians fugitives, refugees, and victims of government insensitivity, in their own country. And there are thousands of reasons for such a protest to go on and on.

While the problem did not start with the Buhari government but an objective analysis of his administration will reveal a sinister plot of the gradual *Northernization* of the Nigerian Federation.

Never in the history of this country has a President been this insensitive to the plight of Nigerians. Nor is there any comparison in our history of the kind of ethnic agenda the Buhari government is a champion of.

Buhari has *captured* Nigeria for his people.

What Othman Danfodio could not do with his sword. What Ahmadu Bello failed to achieve despite his aristocratic posturing. What IBB never contemplated even with his guile. What Abacha never thought of with his brashness and devil may care attitude.

*But Buhari has done it.*

And will someone inform Mr. Lai Mohammed that none of the federations that were structured the way Nigeria is now ever lived to tell their stories?

Nigerian Youths want besides a holistic *Police Reform*,

*Judicial Reform*
*A People's Constitution*
*Electoral Reform*
*Civil Service Reform*
*Access to opportunities*
*End to Quota System*
*Reduction in the Cost of Governance*
*Health Sector Reform*
*Education Sector Reform*
*End to the State of Origin Requirement*
*Transparency in Government business,*
among others.

If President Buhari cannot guarantee the fulfilment of these demands in record time, then let him resign and go home.

In the meantime, *Let the Protests go on. Nigeria belongs to the Youths!*

PoliticsRe: Obaseki's Victory: Why Ambode Couldn't Fight Tinubu by greenalwaz: 6:29pm On Sep 22, 2020
Oghene1st:
Akinwunmi Ambode did the right thing for not trying to do in Lagos what Obaseki did in Edo.

Reasons:

1. Ambode had nobody with him in Lagos State House of Assembly unlike Obaseki who enjoys the support of the Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Francis Okiye.

2. Ambode don't have the support of his 'Godfathered' deputy unlike Obaseki who has the full support of Philip Shaibu, a loyal and trustworthy deputy.

3. The PDP in Lagos which is under the weak leadership of Bode George has no member in any top political office in the state and in Nigeria compared to Edo state that has active Senators (2) and House of Reps (6) in the National Assembly.

4. Obaseki won the heart of Edo people by silencing the audacious thugs led by Tony Kabaka. Can you say that about Lagos?

5. Obaseki has many sympathisers in his former party APC, who worked for his re-election as Governor. The recognised Edo APC Faction Chairman is a good ally of Obaseki. That can not be said in the case of Ambode. All APC party members in Lagos lick the foot of Tinubu.

What I'm saying is that, it would be foolish for Ambode to pull that Obaseki's stunt in Lagos. Had it been he has done so, it might have damaged his political career.

Though, it is obvious that Muhammadu Buhari hates Godfatherism because he has been a victim of such practice. Now, under him, so many Godfathers were relegated in different States.

It is now up to Ambode who saved his political career to fight back. He lives to fight for good another day. That day should be closer than we all think.

AMBODE IS STILL A POLITICIAN.
