Trump shedding the blood of innocent venezuelan's because of oil ![]() |
FreeStuffsNG:Daylight robbery!!! No 'pim' about drugs again. Chai ![]() |
--- |
HacheNoire:The rush for the vast Venezuelan resources in the hands of U.S. now will make them cool interest in Nigeria. What they stand to gain from their ulterior motives in Nigeria, they have it now ten folds and close by. God has a way of protecting Nigeria don't you think? |
DomPerignon:The biggest challenge to fighting these terrorists are the nigerian christian themselves who want to demonise Islam as a religion. They are dedicatedly blind to the bigger picture. Didn't America start by bombing peaceful locations in the north west while leaving ISWAP/Boko haram in the north east. Now ISIS/ISWAP has somehow grown bolder over the same time like there were some underhand booster handed to them to get them supercharged? ![]() Come to think of it, why no Boko haram mentioned in Riley's post? Is this deliberate? Is ISIS/ISWAP ideologies more suited for this job? Time shall tell. |
He further alleged that members of his family and government officials were being arrested and detained by the EFCC without evidence, describing the situation as unacceptable in a democracy. - Gov Bala Muhammad Oga, there is evidence o. It is for you to go and defend it in court or have your finance commissioner defend it. He said you are aware and you approved it that 2.3m dollars be paid for the benefit of just one man, Bello Bodejo, who has been accused of organising ethnic militia men. Please can you explain this Sir without mentioning political parties PDP or APC? Us peace loving Nigerians want to know. We are not interested in party names. |
It is true that Islam encourages growth in spirituality and piety. But many of the rules and recommendations that advance people on this path are not part of governance laws. In fact, they could break people rather than model them when forcefully applied. That is why, Islam commands the man to lower his looks if a lady in front of him is provocatively dressed. Therefore the discipline is enjoined on the man rather than confronting the young woman. From this, it can be seen that they are going about it the wrong way. You can't interfere in a private discussion between a man and a woman as far as there is no public display of affection. Leave them to their maker but preach generally. |
He is a terrorist, simple. Stop the sugarcoating. ![]() |
I am happy to see that Nigeria is on the right side of history because the project to eject Palestinians out of their homeland is doomed to fail. We shall not be part of that failure. It appears Trump's plan with respect to Gaza and Palestinians is now colliding with that of Netanyahu. Interesting times ahead... |
Military hardware is difficult to replace. It is expensive and not available off the shelf. It's not easy when you are at the top. I can feel your pain and constraints dear mr president. May Allah be your helper, ameen. |
The Sarkin Fulani of the area, Malam Sani Muhammad, stressed that Jabo and Bargini communities have lived peacefully for decades without harbouring terrorists or bandits. He recalled only an isolated kidnap incident in 2000, insisting that no similar security breach had occurred since then, making the bombardment deeply troubling to locals. Please leave innocent muslim communities out of your bombing campaigns. Focus on the terrorists and get your intels and coordinates right. ![]() |
"Unity Will Only Be Possible If Christians Convert To Islam" Allah did not mandate it for Christians to convert to Islam. So why should Gumi want to make that as a condition on Nigerian christians? That is clearly not Islamic in itself. Well, it is also fair to observe that he didn't say that directly, the headline did. We should be fair in all our analyses. ![]() |
These westerners and many Nigerians are making it difficult for the Nigerian government to be fully decisive in tackling this terrorism because they want to forcefully put a stamp of Islam on it. This unnecessarily complicates the whole affairs as Islam does not support terrorism. When you make it seem like it is a fight against muslim persecution of christians, you give people who have been found culpable a lot of room to maneuver especially if they have a religious status in the society. That is the way I see the case of Gumi. Deal with terrorists and take them out and their sponsors focusing solely on their criminalities. Stop making it a religious fight with this type of narrative and trying to put a stamp of Islam on terrorism. This rhetoric can put distrusts in the minds of people and lend them to manipulation by some of these manipulative clerics thereby plunging the country into what was hitherto not planned for. Caution is key before we end up making another leutenent like Shekau. ![]() |
Can we just be reasonable for a moment? I don't see anything wrong with what he is saying in this video. Only problem is herdsmen who have taken to violence and banditry and not all of them act this way. But then there are also other violent groups too. So we should not fall into profiling a whole nation please. ![]() |
Instead of targeting ISWAP in the north east, they are bombing innocent farmers in the north west and law abiding citizens homes in Offa in Kwara state. We await response from AFRICOM on this. They should give a detailed account of what intel they followed to hit their targets in those locations and the specific terror group being targeted and the impact level. Otherwise, suspicion will begin to set in with respect to the intents of their mission. ![]() |
This is seriously concerning! ![]() |
“just the first step to ending the slaughter of Christians and the security crisis affecting all Nigerians.” -Riley Moore This is a bit more reassuring than the earlier messages being sent out as if it was a fight of muslims against christians. |
LegendHero:The U.S. need to align its rhetorics also along this line of targeting terrorists. They should not be putting out narratives that will pit muslims against christians. That is not a good sign. |
Make a woman and her daughter remain in captivity after making them watch their breadwinner die also in captivity ![]() How do you want to enjoy the kind of money you make from giving your fellow human beings this kind of bizarre experience? This is a proof that there is judgement to come after this life if you ask me ![]() |
Alhamdulillah May Nigeria succeed against terrorism. ![]() |
malali:Lol, after spending 48 continuous hours on Nairaland combating any anti Farouk comments with complex grammars, hot takes and clever word plays until the very moment that he went down? What changed? |
Thank you Mr President. God be with you as you go ahead with the implementations. |
Please do it already dear Mr President. Don't wait for another round of senseless killing of innocent and defenseless civilians by armed groups before acting Sir. |
Once they get a foot in, they start changing the rhetorics. Na drug we dey hear before, now na oil. After they have deployed their armada around Venezuela. Reason I oppose their direct military intervention in Nigeria. |
No single muslim country. Alhamdulillah for Islam. ![]() |
This neither helps nor represents Islam. It's a pure crime. ![]() |
malali:So Farouk Ahmad has running investments in Apple as a statement of fact or another insinuation to drown the argument in speculations? ![]() |
Are these paid writers to spill out insinuations rather than NPDMRA coming out to own their statements themselves. Let them come out and deny the allegations boldly. Dangote named names when he spoke. If NMDPRA has any facts against Dangote, let them come out and say it on quote. They should stop speaking through unauthorised third-party mouthpieces. ![]() |
What kind of useless excuses are these NMDPRA people trying to sell to the public? Has Farouk Ahmad become the institution by himself? If his image getting soiled is going to distract investors, then kindly move him out of the way. Is he now bigger than the institution? So because he is such a big man now, then we should sweep the allegations under the carpet. I don't get it. ![]() |
emkz:Dangote had made it clear that it is not an output problem but a logistics problem. Remember that Dangote mentioned that NMDPRA used the word evacuated in describing the shortfall but that there were more than enough output for consumption ready in the reservoirs. So instead of addressing the supply problem, it appears that that was used as an excuse to encourage more importations. Did you notice how the Naira started crashing again in recent weeks. Don't you think round-tripping has started happening again by some of the beneficiaries of this spurious licenses.? |
How would a petrol levy benefit Dangote? Is it not the regulator that stands to benefit from a levy? What a weak attempt to deflect serious allegations of corruption with a lame duck excuse and speaking through a third party? Why is everything suggestive in the report and why is NMDPRA not owning them? Look for another lie to put out dear NMDPRA. Shior!!! ![]() |
