CorrectionFLuid:I am not sure why you based your point on putting the blame only on Israel if we are to consider the hands pulling the strings. I mean Israel has got elder brothers. So the point of the Godless behind the scene workers is about Israel and her elder brothers. |
Tendd:Those are the ones tendering their resume for the next deep state job. ![]() |
All these terrorists that always have British or American linkage in their bio sometimes bearing screaming names and with a penchant for attacking soft targets which is totally against the doctrines of Islam. We should not come and hear that another one of their successful ilks is handed a state to govern over in muslim land backed by their initial British or American ally o. If you know, you know. ![]() |
This larry elission na real o.g. for this list. Has been around for a very long time. Always hovering around the top spot. But avoids the spotlight. ![]() |
Lol Last last they folded. When they saw that they were fast becoming the anti people union. ![]() |
Good Send them to your salt factory. They will soon realize their folly. No room for nonsense at the refinery.. |
Really? I am surprised that Microsoft can do that. That's why it's not good to write off somethings entirely. Always thought that the company had this anti humanity agenda. |
Well let's wait to hear from the Dangote's side. While Trump is trying very hard to protect America's top industrialists and innovators we want to kill our own. But the same signatures that will quickly point us to look at America as the saner clime are the ones here defending PENGASSAN all over the place. It is well. ![]() |
That's why women live longer than men. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. ![]() |
That's the American magic many NL members do not understand. Thanks OP. ![]() |
amazonguru001:I think you are missing the main point here in that this issue is not one of a violation of an extant labour law and Dangote has not been found to violate any of the examples you stated in your place of work, that you used to build your points. That is very important. You cannot be punishing Dangote now for a perceived future offence that is yet to happen or which may not happen at all because it is on record that his staff are well paid through numerous awards even from other oil worker unions. I agree with you on the pension funds though. Tinubu should do something about it to make it more accessible to contributors in other to navigate this his reform period. For example, workers should be able to take another percentage of their money say after another 5 years after the first one instead of locking everything up with the funds administrators. |
nero2face:You are just regurgitating what every hate-filled outsider is saying without showing concrete examples, as an ex employee of Dangote group, what practices he engaged in that would make him inordinately jerk up prices. Or is it the same cement jingles you want to repeat? You want the premium quality to cost lesser than the non premiums ones even though the price difference is only marginal? ![]() |
TheBizGenius:It's like you don't know how evil some Nigerians are? Blood doesn't run in their veins but hate. They are pained when goodness is being delivered in affordable measures to all. |
This is economic sabotage on the part of PENGASSAN. If I were the the president, I would order immediate arrest of their leadership. Enough is enough! ![]() |
A clear conscience fears no accusation. Thank you Dangote for towing the path of reconciliation that will immediately benefit the masses. Unlike the ominous cabals who are using unionism to front as pro people. |
May the forces of evil not overtake our country Nigeria. Dangote, may God help you to navigate this challenge and come out victorious. Ameen. ![]() Certainly, Nigeria's problem are Nigerians themselves: that deep-seethed and occluded hate sitting deep in our hearts against the success of one of our own. |
And that is the best time to shut down critical production supply lines to our only working (private) refinery, at the moment, which has been proven to be a key component of the economic recovery that Nigeria has been witnessing in recent months because some vested interests, whose only specialty is to wreck working institutions through archaic unionism, want to keep doing things in the same old way that produced oil sector cabals, rendered comatose our national assets, engendered fuel smuggling and made the country bled forex. Can that be regarded as a step that is being taken in the best interests of the masses? ![]() |
You would think every christian is like the Netanyahu's disciples that are here on Nairaland if you focus on reading what they push to our eyes on a daily. Disgrace dey await una. Shior! ![]() |
Every right reasoning Nigerian out to be praying for Dangote at this point. Fuel price was coming down. So also was the dollar rate. All of a sudden this "something peng" wants to disrupt this recovery process by forcefully unionising Dangote's workers. We should not forget this timeline when things begin to nose-dive again. ![]() |
By the time LG chairmen begin direct receipt of LG allocations from the federal government, na that time real frivolities go unfold. This is just the tip of the iceberg. ![]() |
Fiscus105:It is not complex to understand my brother. This is how it has always been from day 1. The Prophet is always with humanity against capitalists and money worshippers. The alignments always tow this line. Interestingly enough, it is the capitalists and money worshippers that will show you the picture of Islam that they want you to see with their acquired might and state instruments. ![]() |
Is this not the same fuel that Tinubu administration called inferior just to discredit the refinery that was licensed by PDP as part of the aborted 2012 deregulation policies? The world is changing in our very eyes. The past leaders believe it's not possible for us to export refined oil to US and then Tinubu provided the free trade zone which Dangote acquired part of it for his refinery and Buhari"s administration somehow gave license to individual to refine petrol. APC hasn't been a saint but it's still better than PDP by miles.Lol, as usual, time for paid party agents to start laying claims to the achievements of Dangote as the enabling factor. ![]() |
These are the same people that Ahmad Gumi is posturing for because of possible policing contract when state policing takes off so that they can become beneficiaries of security budgets. The presidency should design the state policing security architecture such that people who have had terrorism linked to them are completely excluded. Empower the locals against them and they will become history in no time. The locals know them, their terrain, their contractors, suppliers, friends, relatives, wives and girlfriends. ![]() |
Tinubu should go on with the state police policy reform and not be distracted with people trying to whitewash their evil to become overnight lovers of the people. When the people's security are placed into their own hands these terrorists will disappear naturally because they will not be able to stand a grass root security structure that is well funded by the federal government. So they want to become emergency lovers of the people all of a sudden? And terrorist sympathisers are already scared because they know that they will be terribly exposed. ![]() |
Lol! But these are no kind words. It's going to hurt the first group. ![]() |
Thank you ma for having the large heart to felicitate with people of diverse faith. The people who want to institutionalise misguidance by banning what the Prophet never banned will never see the light of the day in Nigeria, insha Allah. ![]() |
chiiraq802:A good policy design that sets a framework for its deployment can checkmate this genuine concern. |
As gathered from evidences presented by various scholars of Ahlus Sunna Wal Jamaa The Holy Quran states: Say, 'O Prophet,' (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) “In Allah’s 'grace' and 'mercy' let them 'rejoice'. That is far better than whatever 'wealth' they amass.” - Qur'an 10:58 One tafsir of this ayah can be found as follows: Tafsir: Regarding this, there is a Hadith from Sayyidina Anas (radi Allahu ta'ala anh) where it has been reported that the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said, 'fadl', (grace), of Allah denotes the Qur'an and 'rahmah' (mercy) means that you were blessed with the taufiq (ability) of reciting the Qur'an and acting in accordance with it.' - Ruh al-Ma`ani from Ibn Marduwayh Other tafsirs of the same ayah plus corroborating ayahs that strengthen this position can be found as follows: And Sayyidina Abdullah ibn Abbas (radi Allahu ta'ala anh) narrates that 'fadl' means the Qur'an, and 'rahmah' refers to the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) [himself]... - Maarif-ul-Quran The below verse also refers directly to the holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) as the 'mercy' of Allah; The Holy Quran states: And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad] (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), except as a 'mercy' to the 'worlds'. - Qur'an 21:107 Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (radi Allahu ta'ala anh), has reported that the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said that is "I am the blessing sent by Allah so that I lift up the people, who obey Allah, and humble the other people, who disobey Allah. - Ibn Kathir The declaring of the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) as the 'mercy' of Allah is 'universal', and was not restricted only to those present there or living with him at the time. Instead, it included even the generations that will be born right through to the last day of Qiyamah. - Ruh al-Ma`ni And as expained by respected elders in the deen highlighting the specific use of the phrace 'mercy on to the worlds', these include the world of the angels, the world we were in, the world we are in now, the world we shall arrive to, and the world of other creatures in any form. Iblis cried loudly four times, 'first' when Allah declared him as cursed, 'second' when he was thrown out, 'third' when Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) was born and 'fourth' when surah Fatiha was revealed - Ibn Kathir in Al Bidayah wan Nihayah, Volume 2, Page No. 166. Thus a muslim should not find himself in the above group of people because shaytan (and his followers) is the only being not happy with the birth of the holy Propphet Muhammad (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). Hence without any doubt the arrival of Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) is mercy not only upon us but all worlds and creations of Allah and it is source of rejoicing for his (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) followers. The days when Anbiya are born are days of 'Salam': The Holy Quran states: And 'salam', peace, be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive. - Qur'an 19:15 Honouring the day the holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) is born is rewarding: Narrated 'Ursa; Thuwaiba was the freed slave girl of Abu Lahb whom he had manumitted (freed), and then she suckled the Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). When Abu Lahb died, one of his relatives saw him in a dream in a very bad state and asked him, "What have you encountered?" Abu Lahb said, "I have not found any rest since I left you, except that I have been given water to drink in this (the space between his thumb and other fingers) and that is because of my manumitting Thuwaiba." - Muslims Volume 7, Book 62, Number 38 and Sahih Bukhari Abu Lahab freed Thuwaiba on the joy of the birth of holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) prior to his defiant stance against Islam later. So even the worst of Kufaar and greatest of enemy of Islam is given relaxation from his punishments due to freeing Thawaiba. Therefore imagine the situation of a mu'min who rejoices on Mawlid. - Sahih Bukhari The birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) is among the signs of Allah: We have learnt many of the miraculous events that happened to herald the birth of the holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) such as the 'extinguishing' of the Persion worship fire that had been kept burning for thousand of years, the collapse of 360 idols around the Ka'aba and the shaking of the throne of most of the world kings of the time, the destruction of Abraha's army among other events. The Holy Quran states: By your life, (O prophet) they are wandering blindly in their intoxication (misguidance)... - Qur'an 15:72 Allahu ta'ala has not bestowed on anyone in the whole creation an honour and rank higher than that of Sayyidna Muhammad Mustafa (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). This is the reason why Allahu ta'ala has never sworn by the life of any prophet or angel, while in this verse, He has sworn by the age and life of the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) - which is the highest conceivable honour and deference accorded him. - Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu ta'ala anh), Maarif-ul-Quran Therefore his birth is certainly a major sign from Allahu ta'ala. What the holy Qur'an says about venerating, honouring, a sign of Allahu ta'ala: The Holy Quran states: ..whoever respects the signs of Allah, this surely is (the outcome) of the piety of hearts. - Qur'an, 22:32 So it can be seen that honouring the birthday of the Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) not only is it rewarding, it can also purify our 'eeman' before Allahu ta'ala. Analogy for "If the Prophet, (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) and the sahaba (radi Allahu ta'ala anh) did not do it, then I will not...": Ibn Abbas "Allah be pleased with him" reported: The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) came to Madina and saw the Jews fasting on the tenth day of Muharram. They were asked about that. They replied: "This is the day, on which Allah made Moses and the children of Israel emerge victorious over Pharoah. So, we fast on it "OUT OF GLORIFICATION TO IT". The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "We have more claim over Moses than you." So, he ordered Muslims to fast on it. - In Sahih Muslim, Volume 2, Page No. 147, Hadith No. 1130 (Dar ul Kutab al Ilmiyyah). What is in focus here is the 'basis' for doing the action, not the action that was done. It can be seen that the holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) 'validated' the 'basis' for which the (later generation) Jews were performing the fasting even though their prophet, nabi Musa (alaihissalam), and earlier generation, did not do this fasting. In the case of mawlid Nabiy, there is even a stronger 'basis' for marking and honouring it because it is commanded in the holy Qur'an to rejoice on it. Creation of Adam (alaihissalam) honoured and connected to the term 'Eid': Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (saw) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday, on it Adam was 'created', on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. - Sahih Muslim Book 7, Hadith 26 So Allahu ta'ala has attached honour to day prophets are born e.g. Friday as we all know today as a day of 'Eid', that is, of rejoicing among muslims. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'This day is an 'Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday (prayer), let him take a bath and if he has perfume then let him put some on. And upon you (I urge to use) is the tooth stick." Grade : Hasan (Ibn e majah Book 5, Hadith 1152) Narrated Abu 'Ubaid: Then I witnessed the 'Id with 'Uthman bin 'Affan, and that was on a Friday. He offered the prayer before the sermon, saying, "O people! Today you have two Eids together, so whoever of those who live at Al-'Awali (suburbs) would like to wait for the Jumua prayer, he may wait, and whoever would like to return (home) is ranted my permission to do so." (Sahih al-Bukhari Vol. 7, Book 68, Hadith 479) Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Two Eids ('Id and Friday) have synchronised on this day. If anyone does not want to offer the Friday prayer, the 'Id prayer is sufficient for him. But we shall offer the Friday prayer. This tradition has been narrated by 'Umar from Shu'bah. Grade : Sahih (Sunan Abi Dawud 1073 Book 2, Hadith 684) UNDERSTANDING THE HADITH OF BID'A: It was narrated on the authority of Abu Najih al-Irbad bin Sariyah (ra) who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) delivered an admonition that made our hearts fearful and our eyes tearful. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is as if this were a farewell sermon, so advise us." He said, "I enjoin you to have Taqwa of Allah and that you listen and obey, even if a slave is made a ruler over you. He among you who lives long enough will see many differences. So for you is to observe my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly-principled and rightly-guided successors, holding on to them with your molar teeth. Beware of newly-introduced matters, for every innovation (bid'ah) is an error." (Abu Dawud & Al-Tirmidhi, who says it is an authentic hadith - hasan saheeh) THE BIRTH DATE OF THE HOLY PROPHET (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) Al-Muttalib bin ‘Abdullah bin Qais bin Makhramah narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather, that he said: “I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, were born in the Year of the Elephant” Tirmidhi (Sahih) This is a well known event in Islamic history as occurring in the year 570 CE. The event has also been supported by modern archeological findings as a real event and the year is similarly set at 569 CE. Others are 568CE and 571 CE. Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “It was said that he [PBUH] was born on the twelfth of the month. This was stated by Ibn Ishaq. It was narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in his Musannaf from ‘Affan from Sa‘eed ibn Mina that Jabir and Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was born in the Year of the Elephant on Monday 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal, his mission began on a Monday, he was taken up to heaven on a Monday, and he migrated on a Monday, and he died on a Monday.” - Ibn Kathir Researchers have found that this date will more fit 9th of Rabi' al-Awwal when traced by way of calculation back to the year of the Elephant. This is why there is a variation in the dates. This is also not to say that the narration is wrong because the establishing exact year for the year of the Elephant could be important in getting an exact date also. However, the month Rabi al-Awwal and the day of Monday are not been in doubt. Therefore, this is why mawlud events are normally organized throughout the month to seek this blessing of honouring the birthday of the holy prophet (saw) and this is not strange to muslims as we similarly seek laylatul Qadr this way. WHAT OUR UNDERSTANDING SHOULD BE GUIDED BY: Understanding: That 'newly-introduced matters' should be understood as 'NOT' having any 'basis' in the religion. In other words, something that has a basis upon which it is built can not be considered a bid'a. Al-Harith ibn ‘Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen and he said, "How will you judge?" Mu’adh said, "I will judge according to the Book of Allah." The Prophet said, "What if it is not in the Book of Allah?" Mu’adh said, "Then, with the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah." The Prophet said, “What if it is not in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah?” Mu’adh said, “Then, I will strive to form an opinion.” The Prophet said, “All praise is due to Allah, who has made suitable the messenger of the Messenger of Allah.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1327 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ibn Abdul Barr From the hadith of Jareer (RadiAllahu Anh) in Muslim: The one who innovates a good innovation in Islam receives its reward and a reward similar to that of all those who practice with it after him without any lessening in their reward Moreover, Caliph Umar (RA) said after he gathered the people to be led by one Imam during the Tarawih prayer: “Praised is this innovation” (Sahih Bukhari). Through out history, this has been exemplified by other practices, once the basis is established, e.g. an example of one that is not performed by the holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) but which the sahaba (radi Allahu anhum) performed e.g. the compilation of the holy Qur'an into a unified book form because the basis was there as the holy Qur'an was being recorded on animal skins, flat stones etc during the time of the holy Prophet (saw) anyway and as instructed by him also and practices which the early muslims did not perform but which the latter muslims perform e.g. the use of public address systems during worship in a large mosque. Nice! Nice!! Nice!!! The security crises have by far outweighed the political gains for governors. In fact, with a bit of policy design, the governors can be put to check how they use the state police. ![]() |
