These are real Nigerians talking, not the likes of Asiwaju Progrethieves Congress |
1) First, it was Allison Maduekwe . . . . . . . . . . . . . . they failed 2) Then, the Chief of Army Staff, Ihejirika . . . . . . . . they failed woefully too 3) Again, they tried the almighty Okonjo-Iweala . . . . of course, they are not her class and she brushed them aside 4) Now it is the turn of the best performing Minister of Aviation in the last two decades . . . . . . . . . . . . she will shame all the enemies of progress I do not condone corruption but the way and manner Sahara Reporters made a scape goat of Stella Oduah without showing much proof of her direct involvement on its own was a suspect. Immediately, other APC propagandist media like PUNCH, Nation etc picked it up and made it headline story for close to seven days without much investigation except the rumours and gossips they gather from social media. |
Goddex: Tinubu and his gang keep defrauding South West while bombarding the brainwashed populace with an imaginary performance. If this airport were built to this stage by an APC state, the PUNCH, Nation, Social Media etc will be turned upside down with loads and loads of propaganda. My brother, I have never seen a people as gullible as the APC e - dogs we have here on nairaland. On another thread Fashola went to take pictures at Microsoft HQ and they roll out the drums here in Nigeria celeberating even without knowing what his mission was. Watch, the 10MW generator he built for Alausa Secretariat will receive more applause from them than this noble project from Gov Yuguda |
gregtochi: How sensational can this issue get?Olodo Punch. |
Stella remains the best minister of aviation in the last 20yrs. She must stay. The gang up against her will fail. |
emmysenior: Channel the money recovered to ASUU and stop the strike. Daz all.No! the money should be used to fix infrastructure and other capital projects. Civil servants and other government workers are already eating 75% of the budget and do not deserve more. This is the reason I strongly kick against ASUU demanding for more allowances because I know they are already feeding fat from govt. |
FG uncovers 46,821 ghost workers Tuesday, 22 October 2013 22:19 Written by From Nkechi Onyedika, Abuja Hits: 88 Maku-Labaran• Confab has nothing to do with 2015 THE Federal Government has identified about 46,821 ghost workers in 215 ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) while ₦118.9 billion has been saved from payroll cost since the implementation of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS). Also, government has recovered tax arrears in the sum on ₦704.8 million just as tax investigation and enforcement activities have led to the recovery of over ₦10.65 billion. Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, who disclosed this Tuesday while briefing journalists in Abuja, noted that about 153,019 Federal Government workers are on IPPIS as of January 2013 while efforts are ongoing to bring in other 321 MDAs not yet on IPPIS. He added that the government has put in place a system, which enables it to monitor the movement of funds in all MDAs. The minister observed that the present economic policy of government has placed Nigeria on a sustainable path of development, stressing that Nigeria in 2012 received the highest Foreign Direct Investment in Africa to the tune of $7 billion. According to him, inflation dropped to 8 per cent in September 2013 from 12.4 per cent in May 2011, External Reserve increased from $32.08 billion in May 2011 to $48.4 billion as of May 2013 while the Excess Crude Account rose from about $4 billion in May 2011 to about $6 billion in May 2013. Maku pointed out that about $1 billion from the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) has been earmarked for investment in the three areas of Stability Fund, Infrastructure Fund and Future Generation Fund. The minister said that the proposed national conference has nothing to do with the 2015 elections. According to him, President Goodluck Jonathan is a performing President and therefore has nothing to fear about 2015 if the election is going to be based on performance. Answering questions from journalists in Abuja, Maku said that the proposed dialogue is not meant to disintegrate the country but provide an opportunity for all ethnic nationalities to look at all aspects of our relationship in order to find out areas that have worked and areas that need to be improved upon. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php/news/426-national/136445-fg-uncovers-46-821-ghost-workers?fb_action_ids=562130260506878&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=%7B%22562130260506878%22%3A169531493245628%7D&action_type_map=%7B%22562130260506878%22%3A%22og.likes%22%7D&action_ref_map=%5B%5D

karl max: Tinubu's Alpha-beta should take noteYou took the words out of my mouth. |
gboss4sure: When you look for the problem of Nigeria, check the APC supporters, the way the support and justify every act of corruption that happens in any APC state is alarming. Hehehehehe, make dem come win Presidential seat naThe bolded is so on point |
L.M Ayedun..:She is not resigning. Stella is a performer! We need her. Fashola bought three armored cars for 600 million naira at 200 million naira each. Until date, Fashola nor APC has not come out to deny it. An online news media even insinuated that this is the reason Liar Muhammed cannot come out openly to criticize Oduah this time because his hands are tied. He has skeleton in his cupboard. |
. |
Goddex: Has anyone wondered why APC is yet to come out with a statement on the NCAA purchase? It's because Fashola purchased his own for 200m nairaThose guys know they will be disgraced. Bet me, you won't hear anything from them now. |
PHIPEX: Somethings is wrong somewhere, isn't this news good enough for frontpage? No! Wait further. The assignment on Oduah has not been concluded yet. Our moderators are still disecting the Oduah issue while remaining focused to ensure she is sacked. Only then can attention be given to this thread. |
That means Fashola and Tinubu's armoured cars costing 200 million naira each will be like 4 times the cost of the British PM car. Liar Muhammed is scared to show face and criticize this time because he knows he will be exposed. Somebody should tell Liar Muhammed to venture criticize FG on this issue na. . . Why is the mad dog scared to come out. He is sending his foot soldiers and hiding behind mischivious Lagos media propaganda. |

Sincere 9gerian: I think whether old or new, we should analyse all the issues just like we'r currently doing in the case of minister of aviation. What is obvious is that when the N600 millions vehicles were purchased in 2011, there was complete LOCAL MEDIA BLACKOUT on the incident. The question is why? Why is there always a BLACKOUT when certain people 'commit' and an UPROAR when those on the other side engage in similar act?Don't mind these stinking e-rats. This issue was in the public domain then and neither Fashola nor LASG objected. So, who are the dogs objecting on their behalf now. |
lacicrips: Stop being mischievous. Even if that did happen recently which I highly doubt, who's supposed to be blamed for it? Did your minister supervise the job? Everyone has their responsibilities in Nigeria.I wonder oh bros. What is FAAN Managing Director doing? That is his responsibility. |
Goddex: Liars on the prowl. First, it did not rain yesterday. Except the rain only fell on MMIA roof and did not get to Ajao Estate where I stay.Maybe it's an old picture. You know, these guys are very mischievous. They can recycle pictures or even photoshop to spread their mischief. |
Liar!!! Demdem Liar!!! Who told you the vehicles are lying at the minister's house in Lekki? Read the last paragraph of what I culled from PUNCH. 1) But the NCAA boss stated that the purchase of the vehicles followed stipulated due process, adding that the prices of the cars were high probably because it was bought from a company which had no competitors in Nigeria. 2) The agency also said other factors might have contributed the high price, but maintained that the vehicles were purchased for operational purposes. Explaining what may have made the vehicles expensive in Nigeria, Akinkuotu said three factors should be considered. 3) He said, “First, each car that you buy nowadays has a customised aspect to it and this may impact on the price. The other factor is what I call the environmental situation. Yesterday, a gentleman from Britain met me and said the fares in this country on British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are high. And he wondered why the situation had continued, but he said it was because Nigerians could afford it. 4) “So the other aspect in this particular context is what I will call the monopolistic situation on these cars. Coscharis, as far as I understand, is about the only guy that sells BMW of this nature in Nigeria. If he is the only one selling, then you must buy from him if you want the car and he can name the price. So those are factors that may have resulted. But mind you, I am not holding brief for this.” 5) He went on, “I do not know how much the cars cost and I cannot relate or answer the question on the actual cost of these cars. But were they budgeted for? Yes.” 6) The DG said aviation was a global industry and the NCAA, the regulator of the industry in Nigeria very often played host to dignitaries from international civil aviation bodies. 7) He said it was internationally customary to convey the minister and these visiting foreign dignitaries in security vehicles whenever they are in Nigeria. He said, “It must be noted that during such visitations, the security of members of the delegation is the sole responsibility of the host country. The vehicles are therefore in the pool of the NCAA for these special assignments and are available at the NCAA office and can be shown to you.”Culled from: http://www.punchng.com/news/oduahs-n255m-car-scandal-were-searching-for-those-who-leaked-story-fg/ |
Oshiomole is on his own. The dialogue goes on. |
BekeeBuAgbara: While it's easy to tell princess Stella Odua to resign, I wonder why no one is calling for NCAA D.G, captain Fola Akinkuotu's head, the man who purchased the cars.Very tribal bad belle people. The truth among our opposition elements is that they want FG to fail. They feel the woman is transforming the aviation sector and this is uplifting the image of the FG and so should be pulled down. Those guys coordinated by Thief Tinubu and that Boko Haram mentor do not care about the progress of this country but their selfish interest of getting to Aso Rock |
Goddex: Governor of Lagos State,Babatunde Raji Fashola and his political Godfather,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu just took delivery of new acquisitions.Everything about APC in South West fraud. Imagine these: 1) Road Construction: APC states = 1billion naira for every 1KM PDP states = Less than 500million for every 1km 2) Power Plant Construction PDP Akwa Ibom State = 120M naira per 1MW PDP Federal Govt = 160m naira per. 1MW PDP Bauchi State = 230M naira per 1M APC Fashola Lagos State = 320M per 1M 3) Bullet Proof Cars PDP minister Oduah = 115m naira each APC Fashola = 200m naira each |
Sincere 9gerian: It is part of it. Maybe she should have done the purchases under the table. You know there are so many vested interests and this is a highly partisan environment.Over priced as how? Were quotations not received, reviewed and Purchase Order awarded? At least, I saw all those documents there on the net. See, procurement as a profession doesn't work like that. Let alone government procurement - from federal, state to LGA. |
She didn't mess up anything. I saw a quotation among those documents Sahara Reporters published meaning that a certain procurement process leading to the actual purchase was followed. All the receiving processes with relevant documentation as done in formal organisations were also adhered to, atleast based on signatures and remarks on the various documents. She had nothing to hide, that is why even the stores officers were also allowed to do their work and be privy to it. Have the auditors come out to claim ignorance of the purchase? Where the vehicles not bought? Was they no provision for its purchase in the budget? Is the due process office saying it is unaware? |

Bad belle is Liar Muhammed's Problem. What is First Lady's business with ASUU? Is she the education minister or ASUU president? |
Stella Oduah caused it. I tell people that woman is not. . . she should be sacked. |
Liar Muhammed Bad belle |
