A one hour flight to Calabar first, is preferable for whoever can afford it.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Has No Credible Opposition For 2015 by gregg2: 11:44am On Nov 04, 2012
Buhari supports terrorism. Tinubu is overtly corrupt and a sellout. APGA Peter Obi and Rochas are Jonathan's boys.

EducationRe: Senate Committee On Education Rates OSUN As The BEST In Nigeria by gregg2: 7:50am On Oct 29, 2012
lazbay: I live in Osun state. I don't know what ds committee saw dat led to ds award. Maybe what Aregbe wrote on paper as his education policy but which he is yet to implement in almost 2 years. The only thing happening in d education sector is d builiding of a new block of classrooms at Alekuwodo in Osogbo & d only one completed. There have been massive destruction of classrooms all over d state without any hope of being rebuilt. As a result many students are cramped or holed up in classrooms thereby making learning almost impossible. because when u have Pry 1-3 in d same classroom what do u expect. Infact my community fiercely rejected d demolition in our school. We said build urs first b4 demolishing d ones on ground. I'm yet to understand how ds calls for an award o. Also the promise of giving tablets or laptop to every pupil in osun state has remain a mere promise for almost 2 years. I really don't understand d basis for d award.
My guy, forget these crooks we have as leaders.
10M naira cheque from Aregbe is enough for Chukwumerijie
to start speaking different tongues.

Besides, why is the report only available on Osun
State governemnt website?

@Seunfly
I'm not from Delta but apart from Lagos, Delta state is by far more
developed than every other state in South West. And who told you that
Asaba airport is not completed? I've used it, however, I don't subscribe to a single state maintaining two big airports.

PoliticsRe: Empty Seats, As GEJ Addresses The UN General Assembly by gregg2: 2:14pm On Sep 28, 2012
BizBooks: The People that are complaining about the empty seats obviously do not understand how the UN
works. As somebody pointed out earlier, very few world leaders get a large audience while
addressing the UN. Most get a sparse audience just as GEJ did. If you don't believe me, take
a look at the pictures below from the same UN general assembly attended by GEJ. As you can
see, the halls are just as empty as in GEJ's case. The pictures are, in chronological order:

1. Jacob Zuma of South Africa
2. Mohamed Yousef El-Magariaf of Libya
3. Bakir Izetbegovic of Bosnia and Herzegovina
4. Elio Di Rupo, Prime Minister of Belgium

PoliticsRe: Nobody Can Intimidate Me - Jonathan by gregg2: 8:43am On Sep 19, 2012
Biggyd2: Jonathan alleged that the Occupy Nigeria anti-fuel subsidy removal mass protest, organised by civil society groups in Lagos in the wake of the removal of fuel subsidy in January, was manipulated by an unnamed class of people.

He said the protest was not a true reflection of the position of the masses but that of those who sponsored them.

But civil rights groups and an opposition party took a swipe at the President, saying he had alienated himself from the people.

[b]The President particularly cited the protest that greeted the decision of his government to remove fuel subsidy in January in Lagos as an instance whereby some vested interests thought they could derail him.

The President said that the bulk of the protesters that were fed with bottled water, packaged food and entertained by a handful of artists at the time couldn’t have been the ordinary masses as the public were made to believe. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=99164:critics-cant-intimidate-me-says-jonathan-&catid=1:national&Itemid=559

On this, GEJ might be right.
