I beg to disagree, both tactics and players are to be blamed for missing out on top 5. At a point we had to name kids and 3 goalkeepers due to injuries and suspensions, in some games the players let the coach down especially in the Carabao Cup final and FA semifinal against City.
There is no way you are going to maintain consistency necessary for a top 5 push with bunch of players blowing hot and cold every matchday, the near consistent performers were Palmer, Gallagher, Gusto and to some extent Caicedo. How can a team perform regularly with this combo of problems tactically naive coach and subpar players?

We don't need Olise self, honestly we have 2 more AMs in Gallagher and Chukwuemeka who can also play CM.


Even if we need an extra winger Hutchinson would make a good squad player instead of affecting Madueke's current rise.

Angelo will still storm ligue 1 next season, while Paez and Estevao hopefully storm American ⚽. Olise is not a player we need.

Imagine if we switch to 433 seeing that we have midfielders, Palmer and Madueke can play RW and we will be looking at Nkunku Artem* Palmer as front three with Gallagher Enzo Caicedo behind them
