And what delights me most about this board is their ability to strike the right balance in squad building. Unlike the Emenalo or Marina led boards that’ll stockpile the team with attacking talents while paying little attention to setting up a solid midfield base, this current board had that addressed with the signings of Lavia, Caicedo, Enzo and Ugochukwu. This clearly underlines the level of footballing knowledge these guys possess. No attacking band flourishes without a core midfield base and we have a few that can challenge for years to come. We are definitely in the right hands. |
Ballzproblem2:You got that out of my head. I’ve been thinking in that line, these signings, the age bracket, the players’ spread across every area of the pitch, the so much bandied about “project” etc all smears of a long term plan. Todd and his crew might not be clueless as many have come to believe. Man can’t acquire a big franchise like ours and won’t have a plan on ground. He and his team in July agreed a deal in principle to buy a 1.2-acre site belonging to Stoll, next to Stamford Bridge. Albeit rebuilding plans haven’t been made public, one can easily see through what they’re doing. Assembling a young squad that CAN compete while getting them to pen down lengthy contracts, looking away from the transfer market for years, whilst directing incoming funds and revenue to the Stadium plans. There’s a big future ahead. Little wonder every chap that joined us had the “project” word on their lips. I’ll be there no matter what ![]() |

Ibime:You have your facts and they’re richly written boss. However, why is this your analysis not capturing the fact that France is allowed to appropriate about 85% of their former colonies’ annual income. These countries face financial difficulties, and have to borrow back their own money from the French central bank as debts. To reclaim their funds, these countries are limited to applying for no more than 20% of the transferred amount. If they seek a larger sum, it can be vetoed. France argues that it is the money it spent on buildings and infrastructure constructed more than a century ago. I hope it’s not equally lies traveling around the world when France introduced more conditions to this “taxation” having seen that these countries are rich in Natural resources. These includes; (1) In the award of government contracts, French companies must be considered first, and only after that these countries could look elsewhere. It doesn’t matter if the african countries can obtain better value for money elsewhere. (2) , France has the first right to buy any natural resources found in the land of its ex-colonies. It’s only after France would say, “I’m not interested”, that the African countries are allowed to seek other partners. (3) France allows them to access only 15% of the money in any given year. If they need more than that, they have to borrow the extra money from their own 65% from the French Treasury at commercial rates. (4) France impose a cap on the amount of money the countries could borrow from the reserve. The cap is fixed at 20% of their public revenue in the preceding year. If the countries need to borrow more than 20% of their own money, France has a veto.(5) France will be in charge of redeployment of Troops by this countries, France will also be in charge of acquiring Military equipments for this countries. I hope these aren’t lies too sir? |
Thazard:Omo Diego Costa had an overwhelming influence on this team. He had a hand in almost every goal scored right here. Big nine. |
Ibime:CFA Franc was at some point perceived to be a tool for the French neocolonial subjugation over 8 of her West African and 6 Central African colonies. 14 of these colonies who used CFA Francs were required to store 50% of their currency reserves with the Banque de France, and the currencies were attached to the euro. Depending on the narrative you choose to believe, the French explained that this arrangement was aimed at shielding those colonies that issued their own currencies from the horrible effects of price inflation. To these colonies, however, it was believed to be a “neocolonial tax”, a brake on economic growth and a spit on their sovereignties. No be today this thing play out. |
Guys at the Chelsea app calling it a massive win, our intel Blueangel calling it a massive win. For what was supposed to be a routine win against a League two side? It’s really going to be a long season. |

raumdeuter:In a league where he was found out, these ones thrived. Suck it up. |
andrewbaba44:You’re very stupid to write these down here. I can’t believe I read this nonsense without ushering you a slap. So in your right senses, you would want to compare Boateng with the likes of Frank Leboeuf, William Gallas, Ricardo Carvalho, Marcel Dessaily, JT, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic or even Ron Harris? Mugu. |

obainojazz:Middle East were in charge of Islamic imperialism themselves. It would be blatant hypocrisy for you to say they were under imperial and colonial rule. The Arab conquerors acted in a typically imperialist fashion from the start, whilst Asia jettisoned the ideas of the West over a century ago. You can’t bring these continents to a debate about how much grip and influence the European governments had and still has on their African colonies. By having their lapdogs at the helm of affairs in Africa, European “colonialists” keep contributing to the lack of development, political thuggery, and endemic violence whose roots lie mainly in tribal culture, and sectarian conflicts. It’s a proven fact. Even after independence, France still forces 14 of its former colonies to pay colonial taxes for the ‘benefits of colonialization’. You can’t revolt against your master, best you can do is to steal your own and contribute to the decay. Nobody knows much more than the other about the poor leadership in Africa, we were all born into it, and it’s been on for decades. Every election period, we see international observers flying into Africa to act like they care. Even after the elections, when the populace agitate against malpractices, what happens? What exactly are the roles of these so called international observers? This is the starting point of your colonial masters foisting their preferred candidate on you. How many policies have been proposed by your ruling government that never passed through the corridors of your colonial masters? How many? How many barrels of oil do you ship to them quarterly? You think with this level of extortion, any leader would be accountable? When Thomas Sankara challenged this idea and passionately resisted imperialism and colonialism, because he understood the depth of patriarchal oppression and its devastating impacts on the lives of Africans, no be kill dey kill am? So we wey understand this should also challenge our leaders and hold them accountable, according to you and Roland17 and others on this issue? Make them kill us through the orders of their colonial masters why you enjoy your life abroad? When we challenged the killings of innocent civilians in this country by security forces, Shey no be shoot them shoot us, what was the response of the European governments who care so much about Africa? Who pays the piper dictates the tone. What Africa needs is total revolutionary war to be free from the oppressive grip of their colonial masters and I’m happy some people don dey discharge bullets already. |
Spy360:Only the blind won’t see this. |
drisham:If you’ve been active these past few weeks, you’ll find me complaining about the lack of threat we pose upfield. As it stands, I believe Palmer presents a greater threat than Noni Madueke, Angelo and to some extent Mudryk. At the moment, only the rejuvenated Sterling, Nkunku and Jackson seems to be the attacking bite we have and that’s a fact. |
raumdeuter:Dem suppose sha shoot you. Boateng that can never dare wipe the boots of our youth product Mancienne. If Boateng was at Chelsea, he’ll be training with the development squad as he cant be considered good enough for the main team. Your board considers boys like Kim and De Ligt as upgrades to Boateng but somehow your demigod is a top defender. Things we read on a Nigerian online forum ![]() |
A40:Omo eh shey you’ve seen that video? Tueh! |
Roland17:He who pays the piper dictates the tone. These useless, greedy leaders to a large extent are foisted upon Africans by the West, they’re like lapdogs who must do the biddings of their masters. We’ve had countless crises, electoral malpractices etc that have been aided and abetted by the West over the years, which were all swept under the rug. I was just watching a video on my phone of Emmanuel Macron hugging and holding the just ousted stroke ridden Ali Bongo, the latter was literally shaking to death right from his convoy to the podium where he stood with the French president. Unfit to rule, but accepted and backed by his colonial masters to run for a third term. If you look at the effects of the West’s imperialism in Africa, the sort driven by the greed of adventurers like Cecil Rhodes and George Goldie, you can’t help but think they’re behind every misfortune that has plagued this black continent. Our leaders are in Washington today, tomorrow they’re in Paris. All being summoned around like schoolchildren, these are not good optics for the continent. Try to stand for what is right, and you’ll be taken out like Patrice Lumumba and Thomas Sankara. He who pays the piper dictates the tone, even though man must find way japa ![]() |
Many City fans will be disappointed to see Palmer join a direct rival club. |
From the little I’ve seen, Palmer has more influence, and is much more effective and deadly on the final third than both Angelo and Noni. But like someone rightly said, these are more of inexperienced lads we are assembling. When push comes to shove, I doubt they’ll be able to carry the team like top players do. It just feels like Arsenal of yore. We are excited about this project but are convinced it’s not going to transcend beyond beautiful football with zero titles. |
I texted you on WhatsApp bro. |
Omo eh. I hear say Cole Palmer is on his way. Am I not serving a living God?! |
timbros:Eden is one talented lazy footballer who God-knows-how he made it to a professional level. |
Omo I’ve been watching passing highlights of Colwil on a Chelsea blog, one won’t believe those were just cropped from three games, it seems like an entire seasonal highlights. We really got a gem in that boy. |
