have you noticed it? Every time i watch africa magic, it ia always things nigerian they show. Do we have diff africa magic for diff countries, and that the diff africa magic show things perculiar to each country? If no, dont you think it will be good if we can see more of other parts of the continent? They even hardly show things south african. |
then say you do it so as to maintain cleanliness and not that it will keep you ritually clean. |
we werent looking intentionaly. We were hit in the face with it. |
chukwudi44: I have not read the precise one you are talking about but I know he is one of the greatest theologians in the past centurythey are on the internet. I am not christian, but the benedict is one christian i admire even though he is a conservative thinker. Frosbel why dont you just read one of those messages of his on the internet |
chukwudi have you read or listened to benedict XVI's messages i mentioned above. What do you think of the man and the message? Any one who has listened or read them should also comment |
chukwudi44: Is it now frosbel that would determine who shall be called christians or not. Just trying to trying to figure out the motive for this threadkeep wondering. Its more inarestin that wei lol |
from your interactions with these fellow, chukwudi44, enigma and unbenedictus, what do you think of them? Are they christians? Do you think they are on course to make heaving? And all so what about truthislight, maximus and olagbedu. Also joeagbaje, goshen. Talk to me about each of them separately. From ones insight into the faith, you can guess if he is truely christian or not. Also you can read several messages from pp benedict XVI tell your take on him if he is christian or not. Some of his messages are message to youths preparing them for WYD 2011 titled 'rooted and built up in christ firm in faith', his message at westminster hall adressing british MPs, his homily marking the end year of priests at st peter's basilica. Like i said earlier you can tell if one is truely christian from their insight into the faith. |
muslims say if urine touches your body then you become ritually unclean and unpleasing to god. For this reason when they want to urinate, they squat so that the urine doesnt touch their body. I was traveling from lagos to abuja on a bus going to kano. When we got to a petrol station, all the hausa guys came down from the bus to urinate. These matures guys pulled their trousers and squated like women would do. From behind, one could see their balls from behind! Even the women saw it! They know they are exposing something but do not take care. So i had to ask myself which one is more haram.is it the urine touching you or to expose your balls for women to see? Infact why should urine touching your body make your unclean? It did not make your unclean while it was still in your body na when e don comot finish na then e con contaminate you! |
so its sexism for the man to expect some roles from women becos she is a woman and its not sexism for the woman to expect the man to fufill some roles becos he is a man? |
and how did i ask the question? The questions are so clear without ambiguity. Lets turn the table around a bit and see if its interesting. Going by what you said, would you see it as sexism if the woman expects the man to pay the childrens school fee solely becos its his role as the man, the head of the house' even if she has the money? |
Tolaaaaannni: Now cooking for your husband means gender inequality??so in your opinion, its not gender inequality? Then talk sense into your fellow women. They are begining to lose their mind! |
@kenya. Who told you nigeria do not have investments out there? Do not compare your kenya to us in terms of exploring the continent. Have you heard of glo, dangote with investment in 14 african countries, zenith, GTB, access, silverbird. What about our hotels, our insurance companies. You cant match nigeria in any way so pls swallow that. |
slimyem: Is cooking now such a big deal that it has to be related to gender equality/inequality?na you fellow woman talk am oooooo. The tin suprised me sef. For me it has never mattered. I can cook for my wife becos i would life the one i love to have a taste of the works of my hand. The way you people are going with this feminism of a tin is begining to become senseless |
what are nigerias investments in SA? Which nigerian companies are there? |
more genuine questions among you, is it that one partner plays the woman and the other always play the man or it is interchanged? I mean during intercourse. What if the human or animal, as the case may be, takes in. Do you think the outcome will ok? Do we also have men who long for animals or is that it is only the women that exibit this trend? At least its only women i have heard do sleep with animals. Would like to have kids someday and by what means? What is your take on bisexuality? Would you like to go into a relationship with one? If no, why not? And if yes, would you allow him to have another woman without seeing his as a cheat? If no, why not? Afterall, he is only exibiting one of his 'inherent' characters. And if yes, would you allow him to take a bisexual lady? If no, why not? and if yes, dont you think that would create a chain which would give room for possible trouble? If no, why not and if yes, dont you think its enough reason not to allow it in the society? |
@ify, why dont you just ans the question and stop being aggressive. The questions are clear. From your reply i see anger. You are like; why should men be where they are... Why should they have that role they have? I only wanted to know if your not cooking for your husband and family in itself makes you feel equal to him. That if i want my wife to be genderly equal to me, i should tell her not to cook. I understand that when you are busy, you will have to do things differently from usual but what shocked me so much is that the taiwanese refered to it as gender equality! Thats what i want to understand. |
my dear i am not gay and i am not homophobic even though i cannot fully relate to what you do. What i mean is: i can feel very comfortable around your likes despite my not 'following' you. But there questions i would like to ask. How exactly do you know whom to chyke to be you partner? I mean since most people are straight and homophobic, wouldnt you feel you have to be careful whom you try to chyke so that you do not get beaten up! How do you know another gay person since its not written in the face? How Would you as a gay person see ... Is it beistility they call it now. Anyway the idea of a human having sex with an animal, how do you see it? Does it make sense to you? And pls dont say 'its their choice' becos apart from it being a cheap exit route to avoid a challenging question, such a statement can also be said of you. The questions i have asked are genuine. |
my dear op, men are very guilty of indecent dressing and the painful thing is it is not talked about! I think the society has a double standard on this one. I also think the reason is the society teaches us men to be so open and too forward with our sexuality and this is a wrong philosophy to induce in the boy child! Little wonder why there is so much sexual abuse being perpetrated by men. We are not taught to close up ourselves. We are not taught to manage our sexuality in the proper way. There is this guy i saw walking down the street. We pulled his short a lil beloow his waistto reveal his pubic. I looked at him and frowned. He saw the disgusting and disapproving look in my face and he smiled unashamedly meaning; he knew exactly what he was doing! We have to stop making our thing common place! Stop standing on the street to urinate thereby exposing 'the whole of us' outside. Make them wonder what is around there and its size and shape. Be more cautious in expressing our sexuality there by enhancing our dignity as men. |
i watch AIT news yesterday and there is this report from taiwan that 90 percent of families do not cook in their homes. When asked, a lady proudly said its a symbol of women's independence and gender equality. So i want to ask nigerian women what they think in this regard. Do you see it as gender equality when you do not cook for your husband and family? So if i want to be genderly equal with my wife, i should allow her not to cook for me and the family and thats it? Would you, as a woman, want to tow that line to feel genderly equal with the man? |
if AP's aim is to rubbish us then he's done a pooooorrr jaaaaab. Does he know about a kabir sokoto? Does he know how kabir escaped from police net? Does he know how he (kabir) was rounded up again? Does he know at what time of the day he was rounded up? Does AP know how far the place he was rounded up is from the place he escaped? And does he know what security agency rounded him up? It was the SSS that did the perfect job. The caught the guy in a place as far as taraba state at about 4am. Which means they worked round the clock; the hallmark of an efficient secret service. |
nigerians here are far too misguided. They are blinded by their circadian rythm of intense hate for the state. Like it or not, NAIJA has come to stay. No army fights on two fronts yet, we are fighting on not one front, but over three fronts. Can you beat that! We fight BH, MEND and the worst of all, we are fighting a deluded and demoralized population. The good thing is, we are winnning all. Swallow it you all! |
Henry120: This no doubt is a total embarrassment / disaster for the nigerian security service. This is not however to say that the nigerian state security service is not an effective intelligence service. For A.P to use this unfortunate incidence to derail the good works of the nigerian secret service and the support by some misguided nigerians to support A.P in it's baseless claim of ineffectiveness by the nigerian state security service is callous ( just to put it nicely). |
@ op, polygamy isnt cheating imorality. So pls use the right words next time. If a guy has more than a woman he is not MARRIED to, he is only being immoral. He is polygamous only if he MARRIES more than a woman. Dont you ever equate polygamy with immorality. |
ITbomb: some questions for youi stay in abuja. I read almost all the news papers in nigeria. Infact most vibrant print and electronic media in nigeria are in lagos. Lagos is the most covered state in nigeria, not even abuja! |
@andrewza, are you sure you dont fear any african country?lol are you sure you can take on any pan african force? |
is it only lagos that has a state house of assembly? If no, why then are they the only ones that make laws? What are the other state houses doing? I think the lagos state house of assembly is on the par with the national assembly. I think they are even more vibrant and focused than the NASS. They pass laws and those laws come itno effect. This is in sharp contrst to the national assembly. |
me ma no understand her english too o. Op, i do not think you should pressure her to do it. It willl be a bit difficult for her psychologically. Calling your step mother 'mother' is easier in a polygamous home where the mothers do not stay in different houses. This is becos, you were born into the system with that atmosphere already. I grew up in a polygamous home the type i mentioned above and we all call our mothers 'mama'. We specify only when its necessary. So its that easy for us! But for a child who did not grow up in the atmosphere i painted, it will be a bit difficult to accept the new lover |
oiseworld: what future do you see? They have no future, unless they would rain with the antichrist. They ard dead.the israelis were sold into slavery. They were molested and disgraced. Maybe we can also say their god failed them. XXXtians suffer the same fate today. We can also say thhe same thing for them. |
so una too don dey feel wetin the catholic church dey feel when people take the most lil of advantages to hit at the church. When people came here on nairaland posting a pic of a fake mary with pierced palms, people did not wait to confirm if the pic is a catholic pic or not. They just went on calling the church all sort of names. The bottom line is; great people are always treated this way. At the height of the revelation of the child sex abuse in 2010, the media focused more on the church than the victims. This is becos, they saw it as a bigger news. It will sell more newspapers. So CEC, like the catholic church, if you get this kind of treatment from people, know that it is becos you are great. |
