Clement Onuama, a Nigerian man was on Tuesday sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for taking part in years-long schemes that defrauded unwitting people from the U.S. and other countries of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

He owned a legitimate auto sales and repair business near Arlington, Texas, which prosecutors said became a front for an operation that laundered money gained through a systemic and long-term fleecing of gullible persons.

Onuama, from Lagos, was also ordered to pay $409,639 in restitution. In addition, the court ordered Onuama to forfeit as a personal money judgment, $409,639 in ill-gotten gains. His co-conspirator, Orefo Okeke, was sentenced by Judge Conley on October 18, 2018, to 45 months imprisonment, and ordered to pay $582,955.90 in restitution to the victims.

On July 17, 2018, Onuama pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Okeke and Onuama participated in multiple frauds by means of wires, including: romance frauds, business email compromises, identity theft, bank account takeovers, and credit card fraud. Onuama was found responsible for causing a fraud loss of $1,076,602.

An abandoned newborn girl has been rescued from a deep septic tank full of human waste after her cries alerted a woman who was about to use the toilet.

The tiny baby was discovered at the bottom of the tank in a southern Guatemalan village after she was apparently thrown and left to die by her mother, say reports.

The National Civil Police (PNC) was called after a 48 year-old woman was shocked to suddenly hear a baby “screaming” from the ground when she was about to use her toilet, according to Publinews.

A group of officers had been on patrol in the village of Rio de la Virgen, in Jutiapa, when they were asked to investigate.
The woman rushed over and told them a baby girl was alive in a deep septic tank nearby, which is about four metres deep.

Local media said the cop found the baby, reportedly up to 20 days old, and lifted her to safety before she was taken to a nearby hospital.
Medics said the girl is in a stable condition and that they considered it a “miracle” she had survived not only being dropped into the deep tank, but being left in dangerous human waste.

Police have launched an investigation into the case and are working to try and identify the girl’s mother, who is believed to have knowingly left her baby in the tank.
The owner of the property told Publinews she did not know where the baby had come from, or who the child’s parents are.

There are lot of stories going around about this Gyan brouhaha so let me give you a backdrop of what is actually happening here.
As most people know, Gifty has been with Asamoah Gyan for years, way before he became popular and she has been through a lot aside from the cheating scandals that were exposed in the media. Between Baffour, his wife Naana, and their sister in London, Gifty was never liked.

Not sure what Naana’s reasons were but their sister started out being supportive until it got to a point where Gifty got tired of giving her money.
That’s another thing. Gyan is very stingy and selfish. The only time he doesn’t have a problem taking out money is when it’s going to his brother Baffour.

When it comes to the other family members, including their other brother, it is a struggle; they have to beg for it. That aside, Gyan and Gifty had a baby around the time he became a professional, a pregnancy he had initially wanted her to abort by the way. Of course she refused and for a long time after their son was born, Gyan refused to care for her and their son. She had to go to his mother to get money to care for their son. When she attempted to leave because she couldn’t do it anymore, he refused to let her go and they had their second son shortly after the reconciliation.

Gyan never wanted to marry Gifty, it was as if he kept her around because they have kids together, some kind of control thing if you ask me. It wasn’t until his mom passed that he married her and this was only because that was his dead mother’s wish. He started taking care of her after she became his wife and that increased the jealousy and envy against her by the people mentioned above.

At the time Gifty and Gyan were dating when he was playing in Italy, he had another girlfriend in Italy with whom he has a child. His marriage to Gifty was made a secret because of this Italian girl.

Anyway, fast forward to this year. The Italian lady had heard that Gyan bought a house for Gifty in London and was about to transfer her a huge amount of money which of course didn’t sit well with her because Gyan is refusing to care for her and her son as well, because he doesn’t think that’s his child.

Yes, he’s planning for a DNA test for that too. It is no secret to some of us that this baby mama has been planning to “destroy” Gifty for a while now. She was advised against it but of course that fell on deaf ears because she thought after Gyan left Gifty he’ll come to her since they have a kid together.


Well, the baby mama along with their other brother’s baby mama who have both been jilted mind you, came up with a story that Gifty was previously married which made no sense since Gyan and Gifty have been together for a long time. Anyway, Gyan upon hearing this, decided to trick Gifty who was living in London, to come to Ghana with the assertion of signing some documents to a business she was in charge of.


Upon arrival in Ghana, those illiterate boys who work with the Gyans, picked Gifty up from the airport and drove her to some hotel where Baffour Gyan took her passport so she couldn’t go back to London. Apparently, they had planned some other things to do to her but someone got wind and told her so she left that hotel and went into hiding. Gyan made a special trip to Ghana himself to look for Gifty so he can serve her divorce papers. This madness has been going on all summer and it is no secret that Gyan only wants to tarnish Gifty’s image obviously for selfish reasons.


This has been a spiral of backlash for the baby mama as Gyan still refuses to give her money for their “son” together. Gifty has never cheated on Gyan as his camp wants us to believe. What I never understood was why he married her in the first place when she wanted to leave? Even if it is his mother’s wish, he shouldn’t have married a woman he didn’t care for.


They have no respect for their dad so nothing he says matters. They even wished his death rather than their mom. yes, you read right. Gyan is going down a destructive spiral and I know some people have attempted to advise him but he refuses to listen because well, he’s rich. The only person he listens to is his older brother Baffour who is up to no good.


Unfortunately, they don’t care whose lives they destroy, they do whatever they want and like I always say, only in Ghana because they bribe the officials to get away with the things they do. They will lose everything if this divorce had been in the UK or US, but unfortunately, this is Ghana.

An Alabama woman says a man broke into her house and made himself breakfast, took a bath, and washed his clothes.

According to the home owner, Mary Royster says she got home Tuesday and found a strange man who wouldn’t leave, he told her he was waiting for his clothes to dry.

31-Year-Old Tyler Love is now back at the Limestone County jail on a charge of burglary. He had been released just last week after serving time for another burglary.

Royster says “every drawer” in her house had been searched through, and Love made himself scrambled eggs, took a bath, shaved and brushed his teeth.


Royster says finding the man in her home was scary, but he wasn’t violent and she can laugh about it now.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) is carrying out an investigation into what caused the Agusta Westland AW169 helicopter to crash a few hours after the Foxes' 1-1 result against West Ham.

It is believed to be the first accident involving an AW169 aircraft.
In a statement the AAIB said: 'We recovered the digital flight data recorder on Sunday afternoon and one of our inspectors travelled back to Farnborough with the recorder the same evening.

'Today, our inspectors in Farnborough will start working on the recorder, which was subject to intense heat as a result of the post-accident fire.
'Our inspectors are continuing to work with the police on site. We expect to be here until the end of the week.'

Nnamdi Kanu has reiterated that President Buhari died last year and has since being buried in Saudi Arabi without public knowledge.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead and buried.
This was contained in his second broadcast released yesterday after he mysteriously surfaced at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, Israel.


According to the separatist leader who disappeared on the 14th of September, 2017 after his father's house in Afaraukwu in Umuahia, Abia State was invaded by Nigerian soldiers last year, Buhari died last year in Saudi Arabia and has been intelligently replaced with a 'Body Double' from Sudan named Jubril.


"Buhari died because he dared to touch me and I must warn everybody especially those who are harbouring ill-will towards me that what happened to Buhari will also happened to them. Buhari was replaced with a man, that very thing from Sudan, (named) Jubril.

A very special programme is coming up next month where I will completely and totally unmask Jubril with DNA evidence and forensic pictorial evidence. It will be clear to the whole world that the person in Aso Rock is fake," Kanu alleged.

A police officer is in trouble for using a helicopter to buy chicken.
Residents of Komani, Eastern Cape in South Africa were forced to take cover on Tuesday when a police chopper stopped at a popular chicken outlet.


Facebook user Bill Harrington soon posted photos of the incident.

He wrote;

“This was not an official police practice run or for any police duty other than for this police pilot to land, switch his blades off and walk 30 metres into a chicken outlet to queue in line for a quick takeaway and some gravy.

“After this police pilot got his food parcel and paid for it, he walked out, climbed back into his police helicopter, switched on the blades and swiftly flew away.
“The pilot could surely not have had permission to land in a busy parking lot with people all around?”

Daily Sun contacted provincial police spokesman Captain Khaya Tonjeni for comment but he referred the SunTeam to national spokesman Brigadier Vish Naidoo.
His phone rang unanswered, but he told News24 police had launched an investigation into the incident.

“We are aware members were busy with crime prevention duties but the landing is still under investigation,” he said.

A judge was so shaken by footage of a paedophile raping a two-year-old girl she adjourned the case for three days. Convicted child rapist Jason Daron Mizner was supposed to be sentenced in the Brisbane District Court on Tuesday but it was put off until Friday.

Justice Leanne Clare said she viewed a portion of one of the dozens of rape tapes and found it ‘very confronting’, and needed a break to ensure a fair sentence.

‘I think it would be best to put some distance between the viewing of that tape and the delivery of the judgment so that it does not overwhelm the sentence,’ she said.
The prosecution wants the 44-year-old jailed for life over the more than 60 child sex crimes towards the toddler he has pleaded guilty to.
His vile acts dating back to the early 2000s included more than 30 counts of rape and videotaping the assaults.

Mizner’s lawyers argued his sentence should be reduced because he suffered ‘torture’ the last time he was in prison for a different crime.
The paedophile spent years in a Thai jail for a separate sexual assault of another young child and they claimed the abuse there should be taken into account.

‘He received beatings and other torture, partly in relation to [the Australian] offending,’ Mizner’s lawyer said.

‘The Australian Federal Police gave evidence at the [Thai] hearing about the Australian offending, so it’s not much of a stretch that inmates in Thailand would have known.’

Justice Clare disputed that just because Mizner had a difficult time in a Thai jail that he should have his potential sentence reduced.
The court was told Mizner, who was 31 at the time of the assaults, formed a relationship with the Australian girl’s mother, before committing the offences over a number of months.

While he was on a holiday in Thailand, the girl’s mother found videos he had made and a range of other unrelated child exploitation material.
Mizner stayed in Thailand, where he formed a relationship with a local woman before assaulting her young daughter and being arrested by Thai authorities.

He served 11 years of a 35-year sentence and was deported when released on bail last year, with Australian authorities arresting him when he returned to Brisbane.
It’s the second time sentencing has been delayed, after a delay in September, when a doctor preparing a psychological report for the court suffered a heart attack.

This viral video shows the shocking moment an adventurous couple were caught having sex as they drove down the middle lane of a Spanish motorway.

In the video, which was recorded on September 15 and filmed by a passing motorist, the pair were inside a moving blue car with the woman seen naked from the waist up as she sat on the man's lap who was driving.

According to Mail Online, the man and woman have been tracked down by police on suspicion of reckless driving. The man faces being banned from the roads for up to two years and fined £440 if found guilty by a court.
But police are yet to reveal the identity of the pair.

A spokesman for the Civil Guard confirmed: 'Police became aware of a video circulating on social media in which the driver of a car could be seen having sex with his passenger.

'It was a video lasting 32 seconds and the car could be seen in the middle lane. The motorway it was travelling on was identified as the AP-6.
'After viewing several hours of traffic cameras the car was identified and the identify of the driver confirmed. He lives in the province of Madrid.

'When he was told why he was under investigation, he confessed and identified the woman with him, who was also being probed on suspicion of reckless driving.
'This behaviour is punishable by up to two years in prison and a 500 Euro fine (£440 fine).'

A woman was allegedly flogged by 17 people on the orders of a fetish priest after he had pronounced her guilty of stealing in a trial by ordeal.
The incident reportedly happened at Kasoa in the Central Region, Ghana, last Monday night.

The 32-year-old woman identified as Adwoa Ataa, suffered lacerations on her neck as a result of the ordeal the fetish priest put her through.
“Seventeen people, including two women, flogged me with a belt. Each one gave me seven lashes on the orders of the fetish priest,” she claimed.

According to reports, only three of the perpetrators have been arrested. The rest, including the fetish priest whose name was not immediately known, are at large, a brother of the victim said.

Mr Simon Donkor, the caretaker of the house where Adwoa is a tenant, said one of the tenants reported to him that her blender had been stolen and all the tenants denied taking it, so he led them to a fetish priest to find out who among them had stolen the blender.

According to Adwoa, the fetish priest buried a metal ball, tied with a strong rope almost two feet in the ground. That same rope was tied firmly around her neck and was used to also bind her hands behind her.
“He then told me to pull the metal ball out of the ground by my neck. I tried hard many times but I couldn’t,” she narrated.

Adwoa said the rope chafed her neck and so she gave up. “Then he said I was the one who stole the blender because I could not pull the metal from the ground,” she said.
At that point, Adwoa said, the fetish priest ordered that the co-tenants and those with him should each give her seven lashes for stealing, which they did.

Adwoa said she protested all along that she was innocent but no one paid attention to her, except one woman who refused to lash her.
Following her ordeal, Adwoa said she could no longer live in that house because she felt humiliated.

Last year, the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, was largely mocked and criticised after handing over branded wheelbarrows to the youths.
According to a media aide of the Governor, the gesture is to make the youths self-reliant and self-employed instead of going around looking for non-existent white collar jobs.


To justify the wheelbarrow empowerment scheme, a government official noted that the move by the Governor came because Benue is a state known for farming and the governor decided to provide youths with wheelbarrows to help in carrying their produce from their farmlands.

The horrifying moment a herd of elephants charged at two hunters who killed one member of their herd was caught on video.

Video footage shows two armed men trying to sneak up on the herd of elephants in Namibia. They are seen aiming at the elephant herd from a distance, with one of them telling the other "hit it between the eyes".

They both shot and one of the bulls in the herd was hit. As it stumbled, they shot at it two more times until it fell. Other elephants panicked, then, they turned around and charged angrily at the hunters.

The hunters can be seen screaming in panic and scrambling for safety as the elephants came for them.

A man has shocked the world with his brutal act after he reportedly killed his girlfriend by beheading her for rejecting his marriage proposal.


A jilted boyfriend beheaded his girlfriend – a junior doctor – for refusing to marry him, say police. The man then tried, unsuccessfully, to end his own life by stabbing himself in the stomach. The couple had been seen talking animatedly several hours before her body was found in a village in Kazakhstan.


Teacher Shyngys Bekenov, 26, proposed to Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university. But it is believed that she refused because her parents didn't approve of him.


“Furious” over her rejection, Bekenov used a knife to sever her head as they sat in his Daewoo Nexia, according to police.


The man then tried but failed to end his own life by stabbing himself in the abdomen after writing a suicide note asking that they should be buried together.
Teacher Shyngys Bekenov, 26, had proposed to his girlfriend Bekenov has been detained in hospital in a “grave but stable” condition with knife wounds and will be moved to detention.

He faces a charge of murder with a minimum sentence of 15 years. His note confirmed he had beheaded the woman after she told him she would marry him, it was reported. The woman’s beheaded body was found in the car near a dam on the edge of Tasboget village, five miles from Kyzylorda city.
A woman neighbour of the dead doctor said:

“The parents of the young woman were against this marriage.
“But why did he kill her? We are in shock. We did not expect anything like this.”
The junior doctor had just started her first job at a medical centre after graduating from the medical institute in Aktobe.
Bekenov is a high-flying young teacher who had been honoured by the authorities.
A pal said: “I cannot comprehend how he could do this.”

An Indian man identified as Deeraj Kharol, who buried himself alive to become God, was rescued by the police after spending 8 hours in the grave.

The Indian man who was rushed to a health center, had been living in a temple in Karocho ka Kheda village, Rajasthan, for a few years and according to odditycentral.com the man announced that he planned to bury himself alive as part of a bizarre ritual to attain ‘samadhi’ (salvation) and be resurrected as a God three days later.

However after the Indian man who helped in digging a pit for him near the temple where he stayed, was buried the police got wind of the ritual. Police officers were deployed to the scene, after people from other villages and hamlets gathered to witness the ritual burial and covered the pit with stone slabs and mud, and started worshiping at the spot.

The villagers who were at the burial spot, reportedly stopped officer Mansingh Dev and his colleagues who arrived at the pit at around 2 am on Thursday from rescuing Deeraj Kharol, according to them, they were there to distract the ritual.

The policemen were however able to convince the village elders, that Deeraj Kharol would die out of suffocation if he wasn’t rescued on time. He was reportedly brought out almost unconscious, and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At the hospital, Deeraj Kharol who told the police officers that the burial ritual was an instruction by the “supreme power”, said it was his own wish to perform ‘samadhi’, claiming he wanted to attain salvation.

The Indian man who told authorities to leave the villagers alone and hold him responsible for the incident, has been charged with the villagers who assisted him to bury himself alive.

According to the Twitter user, the Zamfara policemen who were cutting the man’s afro, released him after he paid a bail of N2,000.
