If Nigerians had sense enough, this is an opportunity to send a strong warning message to incoming Presidents and Governors of Nigeria by voting out Buhari and voting out any other non performing President or Governor after their 4 years in office and try new persons until Nigerian politicians develop sense and start working hard to deliver on their campaign promises in order to be reelected for second tenure.

If Buhari wins, it means Nigeria has remained backward as it has been, we need a new hand and entirely new team and see what they can do but Yorubas who claim to be educated are sadly educated illiterates who are so tribalistic and wicked to themselves, so selfish that all that matters to them is to ensure a Yoruba man becomes next President by voting in a known failure Buhari despite all warnings from foreigners, men of God, foreign financial experts, etc.

What other country on this planet can you go to a polling station, armed with machetes, guns and other weapons with the intention of snatching ballot boxes and expect not to be shot? I can't think of any.

Nobody is supporting ballot box snatching. What we are saying is that ballot box snatching does not merit "shoot to kill" and anyone who thinks it does is a barbarian for having such little value for human life.

What about the lives of the electoral officers and other voters, does it matter at all? Because the thugs are usually well armed.

People who snatch ballot boxes are not gentle folks who go there and politely ask for the ballot boxes. They are usually well armed criminals who are ready to harm electoral officers if their demands are not met.

He wasn't the main target of the investigations but his name came up in two different cases of corruption and that is enough to alarm the Americans and he was banned from entering the US.
We need at least this standard to move ahead as a country.

All it could have taken for that report to emanate was a petition by an Atiku hater from Nigeria! The Congress would then report to appropriate committee to carry out investigation on it. The investigation obviously didn't find him guilty, hence he wasn't arrested when he visited.

Atiku name actually came up during investigations of some corruption cases. That is how he came to the picture, it wasn't due to any petition from Nigeria. He was the vice president of Nigeria at the time.

All the supposed "US Congress reports" are still allegations that haven't been proven to be true! If Atiku was truly on the wanted list of the American government, he would have been arrested when he visited.

It was serious enough to get him banned from entering the US for decades until the ban was temporarily lifted recently due to serious lobbying.
The point is, he is tainted and there are many Nigerians without such baggage and those are the people who should be running our affairs. Not convicted doesn't mean innocent.
