"Igbos don't have a history of oppression because they don't have it in them to oppress. They believe all men are equal and deserves the right to be on his own."

Institutions like the osu caste system is a system practiced by very few societies in the world.

We have merchants, not lawmakers. Even provincial legislatures in many countries are not this scanty.

Baba didn't even write anything close to this before he was whisked away by Abacha.

Tetehjewels:
Even Obasanjo has seen that Buhari cannot lose to Atiku and is now trying to involve God grin

Buhari is working for God and no gang up can truncate that.

PDP urchins on nairaland can you see that OBJ has resigned to God? cheesy

He knows Atiku is a political dwarf next to Buhari
Very soon, Baba will will be able to ride on a train from Abeokuta to Lagos and Abuja. I think baba himself should vote for Buhari.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: Buhari Plans To Rig The 2019 Elections (FULL STATEMENT) by Guestlander: 3:39pm On Jan 20, 2019
Baba would have been taken seriously if he didn't spend 8 years making sure that Atiku did not succeed him.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: ‘Nigeria Is Back To Abacha Era’ — Obasanjo Hits Buhari Again by Guestlander: 3:28pm On Jan 20, 2019
How people forget so easily! Obasanjo himself was accused of using the EFCC to hound his opponents. He was also accused of trying to perpetuate himself in office.

Comparing this government with Abacha is an insult to those who fought to free him from Abacha's gulag.
PoliticsRe: How Atiku's Smart Move Saved Him From Political Suicide by Guestlander:
IBBG:
this summation is really interesting. The writer of this piece is truly a political scientist. I must also admit, atiku's handlers are sagacious, to be able to decipher this on time, as we can not pass a judgement or mark an exam script that was never written. We can only speculate, on what would have likely been the outcome without a first hand experience. And it also makes the job of defending him easier, because it is more harder to defend real blunder from a speculated blunder that never had the chance to occur, as was the case with the president and the town hall chat, that is still reverberating across our political space.
Sagacious indeed! When a voter is not sure about a challenger he is more likely to vote for the incumbent.
Atiku messed up, he acted like a rookie and not like a former vice president.
If you are going for a job interview you don't turn back and go home simply because someone decided not to show up.
The debates are like a job interview. As of today, the Nigerian people know what Buhari is up to and what to expect but they still have no clue about his closest challenger.

Which electorate? 75% of potential voters is not even aware of that debate and 15%of the 30% that was aware of it couldn't watch it cos of no light and no money to buy generator
Yeah, I get your point.

This is what you call a spin. Any failed attempt at reaching the electorate is not a plus for any politician.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Issues Statement On Absence From Debate, Apologizes To Candidates by Guestlander: 7:57pm On Jan 19, 2019
He doesn't have anything to offer Nigerians. This was an opportunity to tell Nigerians what you intend to do for them. If you can travel all way to America to convince them you are not a wanted man a two hours debate shouldn't be a problem.

Clueless yet we survived a recession whichVenezuela is still reeling under? Infact Venezuela's economy has gone into depression so what is it that these fake economist want to tell us that we don't already know? Atiku'll create the type of economy which the PDP has always created giving the impression that everything is ok even when the country is left bleeding. Many economists in Nigeria can only talk, they can't manage a supermarket in Oshodi successfully even if the prices are halved. Abeg!

Copied.
One carton of alomo bitters for you.

Omokriminal's thinking faculty is defective. Imagine if it was Buhari who stopped a member of the opposition from traveling! Shouts of dictatorship, persecution, victimization, tribalism and everything else will be deafening.

Heroic welcome for visiting the US! There are Nigerian soldiers fighting in Sambisa, I have never heard of any heroic welcome for any of them. Misplaced priorities.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Presidency Speaks On Plot To Arrest CJN, Frame Court Justices by Guestlander: 2:36pm On Jan 19, 2019
The best way to combat these incessant false news is to have an Aso rock press secretary much like in the US, where the government and the press can have regular conferences.
Nigerian journalists are very lazy and sometimes very dishonest in their reporting. And we all know how fast fake news travels especially where there's no alternative sources to counter them.
Also, when the government is not being honest the press will be there to face them.

Can you go back up there and read the transcript and pinpoint where he categorically stated that the US government supports him.

When people are hasty to jump to conclusion without reading in between the lines, they always show themselves off as not smart.
The point is, the US doesn't support him any more than they support Sowore and any of other candidates.

If you don't understand what you read, ask questions.

He never said the US government will endorse him over others.

He said they support democracy in Nigeria.

Read it again and nod your head in agreement to voting AA.
"Atiku speaks on US government's support for his presidential bid"

I think this is self explanatory. He responded in the affirmative when asked if the US supports his bid.
You may have some comprehension difficulty.

NextBuhari:
Atiku in that interview still did not declare to Nigerians why he had been denied visa for all these years until now. That is the crux of the matter. A season journalist would have interrogated further to know why. It's a shame that a candidate with a huge moral burden such as Atiku will be considered to be a president of Nigeria. Add that mix to the badge of shame that the Nigerian passport already attracts.
Don't mind the Mickey mouse journalist.
