If Afonjas Tell You Why Not Make Anambra Like Lagos? Tell Them This...what is stopping you from making Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti like Lagos? These people have no sense at all. Why are you people leaving your mud gutter houses in these states for Lagos? If you claimed you developed Lagos, then develop Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Oyo and Ekiti like Lagos nah. Ironically, you don't see mud houses in Lagos but mud houses are scattered all over Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti, an indication that Lagos is not an Afonja destination and has never been. Had it been, there would be mud houses.

Lagos is what it's today because of it's formal capital status and federal presence, Niger Delta oil money, Nigerians' contribution and investments, and multinational presence. Lagos is owned by all Nigerians, just as Abuja is owned by all Nigerians...YOU WILL NEVER HEAR HAUSA-FULANI OR ORIGINAL OWNERS GWARI SAY "ABUJA BELONG TO US."

We igbos are DEVELOPERS as our envious critics termed us. We develope anywhere we go. We turn other tribes' bushes into cities except our own. We are one of the mightest forces that develove Lagos state and other emerging townships. Remove igbos from Lagos and you have a Lagos without its present alore. Igbo people, no doubt, are a great force to recorn whith in Lagos state. But it irritates me when people say that Lagos is a NO MAN'S LAND. Haba! Lagos was not a bush you turned to a city. Lagos was a far more organized and sane city before the influx of ibos after the war. Lagos made ibos not the other way around.
Don't forget, ibos are not the only Nigerians living and working in Lagos though they appear to be the loudest. How many bushes have you been able to turn to cities in the east?
I will never understand what is behind this boastful attitude of some of our ibo compatriots, if Nigeria goes tomorrow, mark my words nobody will sit down with you anywhere to discuss whether Lagos is part of Yorubaland or not.
For now, tone down the rhetorics and behave like other Nigerians. Dangote alone is building a $15 billion refinery in Lagos and that is besides billions more in other investments and we haven't heard him saying he own Lagos.

This case placed the issue of race and justice squarely before the American public. Moreover, within our society, examples abound in which justice has to be compromised for a society to survive. You can tell Buhari to probe the following to get a good grasp of what i am saying: Jonathan, Obasanjo, IBB, Abdusalam. Let us see whether we would still have one Nigeria.

It is better not to have one Nigeria than to have a country where justice is selective. I would not bat an eyelid if the people you mentioned were fairly tried and convicted for any serious crime.
What is the use of preserving an unjust society? If we are trying to make it more just, that is understandable but to make it the norm is not a very good idea.

You need to gauge the temperature of the society when administering justice.

OJ got away not because of any multicultural consideration, he got away because his lawyers were brilliant and able to to raise some reasonable doubts about his guilt and that is all they needed to do.
If you are right about OJ getting away what about all the white cops who murdered young black people and got away? Are you suggesting black folks don't care about those cases and wouldn't raise hell?
Justice cannot be selective and still be called justice. The laws that apply to the cart pusher on the streets should also apply to high ranking political leaders.

What has multiculturalism got to do with dispensation of justice. Do you understand the symbolism of the blindfolded lady justice?
Justice must be done at all times regardless of ethnic or religious considerations for us to move forward.
Justice must be impartial regardless of your wealth, status or power for us to move forward.
