I'm a political scientist. Fascism is a type of authoritarianism that was introduced to Italy by Benito Mussolini. It's basically authoritarianism with emphasis on aggressive nationalism. The State supercedes all individual rights. Therefore in pursuit of state goals, individual rights may be denied.
I don't see any similarities between Jonathan and fascism or between Datti's statement and fascism. Rather Buhari's government and APC is what should be likened to fascism.

Your definition of fascism is pedestrian. There are other aspects to it which fits perfectly with the so called Obidient movement.

The Nobel prize is awarded by The Albert Nobel Foundation...The selection board is almost made up of Swedes...

It is never a global institution... Infact the foundation has been condemned over the years for the subjectivity of its selection process.

Many countries including the US do not rate The Nobel Prize that highly...some of them have instituted their own setups to reward sterling performance in a more holistic and objective way....

The United States doesn't rate the Nobel Prize high? That is a big lie, the Nobel Prize is considered a major honor across the world. Nobody is compelled to accept it but most people do, even president Obama got one. I don't know where you get the idea that the Nobel Prize is not rated highly in the United States.

In the early 90s , Obasanjo technically won the position of the UN secretary General. However Britian stood against his nomination and ensure he loss the seat to another African contender from Egypt.

Their reason was that Obasanjo spoke against the actrocities of the apartheid regime in South Africa.

When you read Achebe's book , you will understand why he never won the Nobel Prize. He narrated through his story how the whites that came to Africa, exploited our people and took advantage of us.

Any Author that wrote such book can never win the Nobel Prize. The forces that stopped OBJ from becoming the UN secretary General will ensure that did not happen.

Hence go to sleep. The politics of the Nobel Prize is beyond you.
