Politics › Re: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by gunuvi(m): 8:35am On Apr 14, 2013
koruji: You talk as if the having a speaker is the same as having our due rights within Nigeria. OBJ was a Yoruba president and he illegally & arrogantly held on to Lagos funds. Tinubu broke his grip by taking the opprtunity to wean Lagos of overdependence on allocations from the center. Bankole was speaker - what did he do for Yorubaland, other than steal? Those crying over the behavior of GEJ towards Yorubas are the rentiers who are left out of the sordid corruption called Nigeria. In terms of good governance Yorubaland is experiencing a resurgence that had not been seen since UPN in the 2nd republic. OBJ stole elections for his stooges in 2003, what did those achieve? Guess who bested them all - Lagos, the one OBJ "punished" by witholding allocations. What we need to do in Yorubaland is take GEJ's misbehavior as opportunity to extend that indepence from the curse of oil to the entire region.
Some of you amaze me with your one sided arguments. Did I say anything about corruption? I only said I was pained that we lost the speakership. Mention one politician in Nigeria that is clean. Mention just one! Also, tell me what has tambuwal done for us south west. You people always blame others without looking at yourselves in the mirror. Are your ACN not corrupt too??

koruji: Fasehun is going to lose respect if he keeps claiming he doesn't see the connection between his sudden romance wit Ijaws (even going as far as publicly supporting GEJ's right to a second term), his sudden NNPC 'interviews' and so-called revival of UPN. He is being used, he knows it but is playing along in order to get his contract. Problem is those using him have no intention of awarding any contract to him but will use him to try and divide the SW.
Ok, so what will you say about your Tinubus romance with Buhari, Tambuwal etc? If he romance Ijaw, is there a problem with that?
Politics › Re: ACN Doesn’t Think Of Yoruba Welfare —fasehun by gunuvi(m): 8:04am On Apr 14, 2013
Fasheun has bared it all. It is true that ACN used their own selfish interest to sell out many Yorubas. The speakership of Mulikat that we lost still pains me till now, all because of ACN selfish interest.

The police corporal knows the rules of service so he erred but I know he as a police officer knows police are highly uncapable to save the politician and thus made him inform the man to look for alternative security.

Going by a yourba adage that "owo olowo ati owo eni, kolorun ma she fi kan won wa" which translates into - God should not deprive us both ones personal money or someone else money.
The family can't be dying of hunger and be staring at a delicious timely food all in the name of an official gift to a French president.
Kudos to the family jare. In fact if you can get hold of the bigger replacement don't forget to volunteer again to help Mali govt in taking care of it.

My brother, read both Reno interview and read this one above and if you can't see between the lines then you are not intelligent enough.
The Salihu guy is a big jealous liar commissioned by El Rufai to write that shit. Nigerians knows the truth and will stick to it.

Politics › Re: APC Is A Threat To Democracy – Obanikoro by gunuvi(m): 8:24am On Apr 09, 2013
Stop wishing for people what is likely to happen to you given how you talk. What "truth" is Obanikoro saying with his ignorant talk that APC is a treat to democracy? Is it not obvious the thug does not know what democracy is? Is it democratic for the PDP to glorify in being a piss-poor example of leadership, perhaps the worst in the world given the amount of Nigeria's wealth it has squandered, for 50 years while Nigeria never evolves politically to mount a challenge against this monster?

Why do you think PDP leaders can have the audacity to openly and insultingly brag they will rule for 50 years when the entire world only sees a hideously misruling Party to the extent a Ghanaian economist and America politician openly called for the removal of GEJ ?

How do you think the world perceives us when we claim to be the giant of Africa while they see smaller nations evolving robust and genuinely democratic systems where non-performers at the center are kicked out regularly and without damaging delay? As a well-exposed person, I see that so many Africans are far more politically sophisticated than Nigerians who , as usual, only know how to make noise.

Given what we have currently, how can any sane person oppose the formation of APC? Even those who do not like the APC, yet are politically sophisticated enough, know to accept that this merger is a very good development that will strengthen Nigeria's democracy. IBB, Aliyu, Tukur, the PDP's official spokesperson, Olisa Metuh, and many others have all said the formation of the APC can only strengthen our democracy. Yet Obanikoro has to be the only ignorant person to show he is only about the politics of enmity, division and bitterness. Anyone , like Obanikoro, who does not appreciate that the APC represents politically positive evolution for Nigeria is just deluded, ignorant, unintelligent and ill-exposed.
Can you please forget about the title and focus on the body of the message. In all you mentioned above you only spoke about APC and have not answered my questions yet on all the allegations made by Amb Koro.
He pointed more than 20 areas where Tinubu and ACN are misgoverning Lagos state and you come here blabbing about APC. I don't have any problem with APC but other points raised.
Science/Technology › Re: Cost Of Different Sources Of Electricity In Nigeria by gunuvi(m): 1:12pm On Apr 08, 2013
cheddarking: A house has 7 bedrooms and 2 living rooms....as well as a BQ comprising 1room/livingroom/toilet

The main house has 2 Large Fridges and 2 Deep Freezers.

Each bedroom has a Wall mounted 1hp AC...while the 2 living rooms have a 3HP split standing unit each.

There are 9 Flatscreen LEDs in this house, usually on at the same time.

There is also a pumping machine in the yard for water.

Can you use Solar Energy to Power this house? And how big is the Array gonna be?
Someone should answer this and provide estimated cost in Nigeria.
