Earlier in the week, I had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a chemistry teacher and asked him if he taught his students short codes to remember elements in chemistry and he said he didn't know of it.

I told him that in my secondary school days,there was a short code we used and it made us to remember it .

The short code was He Has Large Brain But Can Not Offer Full Nine Subjects May All Silly Painters Stop Colouring Articles Kept Carelessly.

The first letters represent the elements like Hydrogen, Hellium,Boron,Carbon,Nitrogen, Oxygen, Fluorine,Neon etc.

Other popular short codes were MRNIGERD for characteristics of a living thing with M for movement, R for respiration, For nutrition, I for irritability G for growth e for excretion, R for reproduction while D for death.

A lot of codes in those days that really helped,I wonder if this generation still make use of it.

He was one of the security men in the establishment.

He has been working there for years just to make ends meet as alot of bills need to be paid.
His kids were still growing up with the eldest in the higher institution.He had to pay the school fees of his kids which has skyrocketed due to the policy of the Government in place from his meagre salary which does not take him home.
He kept on struggling, going to work even as he has become old and weak.

He had to struggle as there would be no food on the table if he stops working despite getting old.
Tragedy struck, he was found lying down on the floor unresponsive by a fellow security man who came to take over from him at the establishment.
His body was already swollen.
He died at the establishment.

May God not allow us to struggle at old age.
May his soul rest in peace.

A particular Nigerian wife wanted a building property abroad so badly but the husband laughed it off that it is of no use.
It seems Immigrants still have the impression of building properties in their country of origin.

Always wash your bum properly after the loo, first wipe off with toilet paper then wash with clean water and then pat dry before putting on your pant/boxer. Maintaining this hygiene will keep your butt away from rashes aka craw craw

The match was abandoned after a heavy down pour yesterday at the stroke of 62 minutes.
At 8 am today, the match was restarted and a glancing header from Bendel Insurance star striker Alex Oyeleifo in the 87 minutes of play was all Insurance needed to win the match skyrocketing them to the fourth position on the Nigerian Premier league table and in firm position to clinch a continental slot.

Nigeria is not suppose to be one country. The three major tribes in Nigeria don't share anything in common and so have no business being together as a country.

This is the bitter truth we all have been hiding from each other since independent. The likes of awolowo and sir Ahmadu Bello saw this and were bold enough to advocate for the dissolution of this entity.
But a leader of a certain tribe, out of foolishness and greed, insisted that the country must remain one indivisible entity.

This tribalism is natural and it will continue to exist as long as the country remains one.

Very valid point, all the major tribes in Nigeria are enemies pretending to be friends.

Nigerians are very different people who have no business being together and , bar lord Lugard's amalgamation, would ordinarily form very different nations same way, for example, Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa etal are very different to Nigeria.

If the tribalistic predisposition of Nigerians has not changed for many decades now, at what stage will you people agree we should all go and organise our lives under full regional autonomy so that people of same ethnicity, or homogeneity of socio-economic ideas, can lead themselves as they wish as is the case with most successful and developed nations of the world?

The major problem Nigeria is facing as a country is tribalism as Nigerians tend to support their so called brother who is in the position of echelon.
Whether he is killing other people including him, they just don't care so far they are from the same tribe, they are with him a hundred percent without opposing him even for once.
When the so called brother leaves the position and another tribe is now in power,you will now see them coming out with full force to criticise the new tribe in power.
This circle goes on for decades non stop.
The Nigerian politicians know that this is how the Nigerian citizens are and they will always play the tribal card with the religious card to spice it up and they will clinch whatever they want to clinch.
Until all Nigerians change their hypocritical attitude and speak truth to whoever is in power,we will continue to remain where we are presently or even worse.
I rest my case.

Getting 6 over 6 draws as a soccer draw punter places you in a very high pedestal because it is very difficult to achieve as it comes once in a blue moon.
I was able to get it today with a stake of 100 naira which yielded 50,000 naira.
Got other wins too on various platforms.
