This man is one of the men that is making foreigners that want to invest in Nigeria or employ Nigerians doubt Nigerian's integrity therefore losing millions or even billions of dollars that could have been injected into Nigeria in the forms of employment opportunities or businesses.

It was one of those low quality scams like those kinds where the scammer claims they are kings and need the victim's help to save their kingdom and they will be rewarded.

Only people with single digit IQ fall for this kind of scams.

I've see a video explainer on YouTube. The guy wasn't some skilled scammer. It was the incompetence of a big bank of Brazil's higher ups that led to the issue.
The official didn't even do any research before agreeing to send the money.
And also the money was sent to a personal account instead of a corporate account that big companies use.
The deal did not even go through the federal government.

It's still a bold move by him even if the bank officials were incompetent and it pulled off.
