Firebox123: opay, palmpay and other commercial bank we have in Nigeria are all the same
Shey ecobank no fit run away with your huge money 💰 Most opay accounts are allegedly scam accounts. They can be manipulated by fraudsters as there was no physical verification carried out. People mostly use opay accounts to commit fraud. |

Firebox123: who told you that
Once you're in tier 3 you can do unlimited transaction on your opay and Palmpay account For me I can't put huge amount in them. I have seen what opay did to someone recently and can't risk putting huge amounts there. |

yemmit90: I can't believe some people still go to the banks for transactions.
With many available channels to withdraw and pay, i assume only those that want to collect ATM cards or solve various accounts issues go to the banks. For security reasons, I don't have an ATM or do any other transactions with it I have other bank accounts that I make my transactions with my phone. |

Celestialsword: No network in any bank means there's no money to pay to customers at that material time.
Nearly all commercial banks are quilty of this. Yes especially when the month is coming to an end. The bank officials want to use the money to cross to the next month. |

TopBanter: @OP.
Stop putting the cart in front of the Horse. Can't you see the real problem of Nigeria?
A policeman just came out angrily to confess that they are being g prevented from arresting, tackling and killing bandits robustly by 'Ogas at the top' and you are here talking satellite, AI, drones, DNA etc.
Even El Rufai, under Buhari's Presidency , insinuated that Nigeria had technology that allows our army and armed forces to see terrorist and bandits in their forest hideouts yet the order wont come to blow them sky high.
Can't you Nigerians ever do reality, as other adults are able to do elsewhere, and agitate for the right solutions? I.e regional autonomy in this case?
All those tools of crime-fighting are only effective in nations where all ethnicities and people, in every corner, agree that terrorism and banditry, even if being committed by their own sons, must be fought aggressively.
Satellite system can do nada when the human element involved in it's deployment will compromise it's efficient and optimal use because of the adage "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter".
In order to defeat terrorism and banditry then all Nigerians , whether they are Northerners and Southerners, must agree that bandits and terrorist are indeed bandits and terrorists who need to be stopped and not individuals "failed by the system" who deserve amnesty and rehabilitation rather than very severe punishment that will deter other potential bandits and terrorists. You made a vital point. The rot in the system is very deep. |

So what can we do when the law is binding us.even if we shout from now till tomorrow nothing change, It is terrible. |

Ofodirinwa: you think Nigerian police don't know where the insecurity is happening? They don't know.our boarders are porous and also you see them mounting road blocks all the time.once someone that wants to commit a crime see the road blockade from afar,he diverts to the nearest route or turns back to where he is coming from. |

All this local local that is being done by security outfits in Nigeria won't take us anywhere. The world has gone beyond police men mounting road blocks to checkmate insecurity. When I went to South Africa,I never set my eyes on any police man. I went to the security control room in South Africa where all activities are being monitored. If there is any security threat, the control room alerts the police and within seconds they are there. Banditry, terrorist activities and kidnappings can be fought by having good satellite systems which can monitor anything through satellite imagery. The Nigerian police force should go digital and be well trained and equipped with the modern ways of fighting security. They should be trained in the usage of drones. This is the 21st century, let's not be backward in our way of doing things. Aurevoir.

Nigeriasat 1 that was launched when Obasanjo wad president! A launch that I watched live!
This is wonderful.
You posted a video of confused Chinese people rubbing their heads. Are there no Nigerian Scientist involved in the launch.. Ask Meta Ai about Nigerian satellite system and it will tell you they are obsolete, expired or minimally working. Let's call a spade a spade as that sector needs to be revitalised. |

gulfer: Truth be told, Nigeria has no business owning a Satellite 100% (ownership and maintenance) because of our bad infrastructure maintenance culture......we need to crawl before walking not to talk of running, let us put our house in order before any other thing. Even small Burkina Faso is on course to leave us behind if we're not careful The sector is very vital as we can use it in fighting insecurity. We are just not serious about technological advancement. |
