Technology MarketInverter/solar Batteries That Can Last Over 10 Years by GuruD(op):
A big challenge and source of frustration for many whose homes and offices are powered by solar or stored energy is batteries that don't last long in use and in lifespan. Changing batteries every other year can be very expensive for many. There are so many bad batteries in the market today that new industries and businesses have sprung up, making a profit from many suffering from battery challenges.

There is a solution to this source of frustration and that is in a "new" technology. BYD Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 LFP Batteries when compared to lead acid (commonly used) and other lithium batteries; this new technology, the lithium Iron Phosphate batteries offer significant advantages, including improved discharge and charge efficiency, longer lifespan and the ability to deep cycle while maintaining power. The LiFePO4 batteries come with a higher price tag but a much better cost over the life of the product. No maintenance and a super long life make them a worthwhile investment and a smart long term solution to your power needs. (Copied)

Key Advantages:
1. Fast and safe charging.
2. Not affected by depth of discharge
3. Temperature tolerant up to 65 degrees Celsius.
4. Full power available throughout discharge.
5. Voltage does not drop like lead acid batteries.
6. Up to 10x longer cycle life than lead acid equivalent.
7. 25 - 50% more capacity than lead acid equivalent.
8. Light weight - 50% less weight than lead acid equivalent.
9. Built in overcharge protection.
10. Low self discharge so the battery maintains state of charge.
11. No gasses emitted.
12. No damage from partial state of charge operation or storage.
13. No maintenance.

With the above advantages, it is no surprise that many people in the developed world are switching to Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries, and Nigerians should not be left behind despite the high cost. We are offering Nigerians the opportunity to buy pre-owned BYD LiFePO4 batteries at a very reduced cost.

We have BYD Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 LFP 24 Volts 5.63Kwh 220Ah Battery pack for sale.

We ship directly to Lagos (Delivery takes four weeks after payment) from the US.

Certain words have worked since time immemorial and will continue to work for centuries to come. Its the way the world was made, certain things trigger certain emotions and we thank God for that. Apply the principles and majority of chics will fall for what they hear.

No man is perfect and we will always evaluate and choose which imperfection to live with. I like SLS more these days, may he one day be president of this Great Country. El- Rufai, i can only hope he has the integrity to match his intellect. Small steps and GeJ keeps moving in the right direction. Long live this Great Country of ours.
RomanceRe: Romantic Films Are Known To Ruin Relationships As They Give Unrealistic Expectat by GuruD: 8:49pm On Jan 17, 2012
I don't think romantic films distort romance, films are based on true events or beliefs of a people, before Romeo and Juliet and after our own romantic tales, love will keep taking whatever forms we as individuals give it. I believe we get the kind of romance we give.
NYSCRe: Should NYSC Be Scrapped? What's Your Take On NYSC? by GuruD: 8:23pm On Jan 15, 2012
I think the scheme should be re-organised to address the modern issues we face as a country. I like the idea corps members teach in schools, they can also help in specific areas like the I.T sector as most are more computer literate than the older gov't workers. we saw the good work they did during the elections despite the insecurity issues. Look at it this way, the gov't has a youthful and intelligent scheme that can help in building this nation for cheap. I suggest using corps members run the next identity card registration ( computer chip cards) like that of India.

PoliticsAnswering The Nigerian Question by GuruD(op): 11:02am On Jul 01, 2011
We all have dreams for our nation and we all believe we can solve the problems of Nigeria better than anyone else. So I ask the question;

WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF NIGERIA?

Permit me to go first; I would solve the problems by providing free and compulsory primary and secondary education to every Nigerian; male and female. Eduacation changes attitudes and internal feelings (tribalism, hate, prejudice, etc,), it promotes growth and development through enlightened thinking. History shows that education is the bastion of every great and prosperous Nation. This is what I would do. what would you do?
BusinessRe: North’ll Kill Petroleum Industrial Bill-ex-minority Leader by GuruD: 9:26pm On Jun 23, 2011
Please let the hon. member shed as much blood as he can as long as it is his own blood and not someone else's blood. For a copy of the PIB go to http://www.nnpcgroup.com/Portals/0/pdf/PIBDrapftBill2008.pdf. There is nothing that suggest what the hon. member is saying is true or possible.
It is very sad that an individual especially an elected official makes inciteful and untrue statements and no one in the government thought to set the record straight and persecute the individual for inciting public violence. More over I have noticed that certain Northern Leaders think Nigeria is a welfare state; spending and not producing. Do you know that the north shares from the Federal tax collected on Alcohol at the same time they ban the sale of alcohol? Hypocrites!

PoliticsPolitical Questions Concerning Nigeria by GuruD(op): 10:21pm On Jun 02, 2011
I just took up an interest in Nigerian politics after the last elections and I would like to understand certain thins I have read about. I have been reading about terms like power sharing, zoning and federal character and I dont really understand what they mean and what the purpose is for power sharing or zoning when we just elected our government. another term i heard in an argument is power devolution, what does this mean? and yes please one last item, what is a soverign national conference? who attends it and what is the purpose?
thanks, i really would like to understand what all these politicians are talking about, i feel lost.
PoliticsRe: Will Fashola Join PDP Or Will He Overthrow Tinubu In ACN? by GuruD: 11:39pm On Apr 11, 2011
@ Beaf; are u saying the pdp is incapable of breeding leaders like Fashola? U will call Amaechi and Chime. But if u live in Port-Horcourt u will know that the pdp in rivers is very much different from that predominant in the country. I do not have any say on Chime, I do not have first hand knowledge of the man or the situation in Enugu.
will a man like Fashola thrive in a party like pdp with all its godfatherism and do-or die politicians, who play the politics of favoritism and zoning? Fashola is a man that only hardwork will bring him progress and he needs to be in the party that rewards hardwork and runs a fair and just system. u definitely will cry foul but the ACN is a more progressive party than the pdp (ultra conservatives)
PoliticsRe: Picture Of Governor Oshiomho In Voting Queue by GuruD: 11:26pm On Apr 11, 2011
MeGaStReEt:
tell me that was a typo

If he can't do all that you listed above, then he should resign. The reason why I supported him then was becuase he promised to tackle the major issues affecting the state e.g Education (He has not done anything about it till now, infact its getting worse) Health, JOBS Road and Security Tell me, in any of these areas where he's done anything spectacular. He made those promises with his mouth, dem no force am.
He promised Roads, we are seeing his laudable achievements in the state.
He promised security, he has improved on that as much as he can by bringing more personnel and equipment. But he cannot do anything about the quality of the security forces, he neither trains them nor pay them. it is an inefficient federal police under an ineficient federal government.
He promised jobs, and he delivered as many as he can employ and pay, especially considering that industralization which will create many jobs is out of his hands in this unitary government been run under the name of federalism.
He promised Health and Education, please tell me what exactly you want to see in those areas because i know he has reversed the rot of the previous government.

PoliticsRe: Will Fashola Join PDP Or Will He Overthrow Tinubu In ACN? by GuruD: 10:52pm On Apr 11, 2011
Fashola is great as Governor but i have not seen any politicking from him. Politics is beyond excellent administrative skills or leadership qualities or visionary projects. It is a balancing act of diplomacy, statemanship, leadership and guile. Fashola may or may not hit the national stage but Tinubu is there, succeeding as we can see from the growth ( though small) of the ACN as an opposition party. Fashola might be the best governor in the whole world but without people like Tinubu (or any other political grand master), he will not get very far, ask Donald Duke.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu Vs Jonathan Vs Buhari. Which One Is Good For Nigeria? by GuruD: 10:13pm On Apr 11, 2011
Ribadu for me is the best chioce.
1) He represents the change I want to see in the country. He is relatively new and will definitely bring  new and fresh ideas to the country.
2) He is in a party of progressives and from the assessment of ACN in Nigeria, they have the best governance on the average.
3) Although, like all politicians, he is no saint, he has a better track record on anti-corruption than his opponents.
4) He has more international support than his other opponents. ( yes, read America and the West, we need them to grow).
5) His Vice has a strong grasp of the economic and financial system of the country, a good knowledge of the economy is essential to the growth and development we want to see in this country.
Please VOTE CHANGE, VOTE DIFFERENT, VOTE RIBADU/ADEOLA

Comrade oshiomole really cant do anything abt electricity, education and security, those are federal and come directly under the presidency. With devolution of power, the states will have more power to industralize and improve security.
As for agriculture, he can not stop Edo farmers from selling their allocated fertilizers up north or force people to farm if they prefer to wait for allocation from abuja or "westy" from Italy.
It is obvious to all that the roads are a priority to the comrade and He is doing a whole lot better than the previous Government.
Please be truthful next time
PoliticsRe: What Hasn't GEJ Done In 10 Months Of Being The President. by GuruD: 2:14pm On Apr 02, 2011
head_to_to:
they cant even articulate their facts - I thought this thread would have ran into 60 pages by now- pages full of the sins of GEJ and what he hasnt done as a leader.
What facts need articulation? the fact dat u dont have constant electricity, good roads, quality health care, growing economy, nothing at all. Yes, the coutry is not that bad, but an effective leader will make things better. should we praise a man for not taking us backward (read: stagnation) or for taking us forward?

PoliticsRe: What Hasn't GEJ Done In 10 Months Of Being The President. by GuruD: 9:49pm On Apr 01, 2011
What GEJ hasn't done is deliver on the promises he made to Nigerians.
1, He has failed to deliver energy, of course he can not manufacture dat much in 2 yrs but he has broken his promises and keeps shifting deadlines. He has shown a lack of understanding and leadership. i think he is entirely out of his depth moreso as he was handpicked for the job.
2, He has failed to fight corruption, Life around u is enough evidence of destructive forces of corruption.
3, He has failed to grow the economy. He has again shown his lack of leadership when he opened the local economy to all sorts of imports and yet campaigns on reviving the local economy.
4, He pays militants from his tribe more than he pays graduates. this shows he rewards crime over hardwork and honest living.
5, He has not done anything really dat i can see, no legacy, nothing to show he has been in office maybe except campaign posters.
Guys if u blive he is the man then y is he an OBJ stooge?
