Nice gesture. But my fear is that if the Army continues the way they are going about their Python Dance it could lead those IPOB youths into an armed insurgency same way Boko Haram started after their members were murdered in cold blood which the FG is yet to contain. They could decide to target the oil industry by aligning with the Niger Delta militants to target the oil industry by bringing in their expertise, believe me if the brave and technologically inclined Igbo youths align with Niger Delta militants our Army may not be able to contain them and we may enter into recession part 2 because the oil infrastructure and industry could be heavily affected. Yorubas should stop giving too much publicity to Nnamdi Kanu, they have made him to appear as if he is the King of Igbos except there is a clandestine plan by them to use him to achieve a certain aim. Most of the media that promotes Nnamdi Kanu's activities including Nairaland are owned by Yoruba Christians, while most of those who castigates Nnamdi Kanu in the media are Yoruba Muslims, whats going on? ![]() |
I hope the Government is not pushing this people into an armed insurgency, all they need to do is bring in Igbo acumen into the Niger Delta militants struggle and the whole oil industry will be shutdown and we go into recession part 2. Igbos are scattered all over the world, many with military experience serving in other countries military and can coordinate the militants into becoming a more potent force to engage the quota system Army of Nigeria and cripple the main stay of Nigeria's economy. |
Buhari according to Oby Ezekwesili is a sectional leader. Jonathan will be laughing at her by now after using her BBOG to demonize his administration. Her counterpart hadiza Usman was rewarded with the MD of Nigerian Ports Authority by Buhari for a job well done ![]() |

I have an uncle based abroad, he got married here in Nigeria and travelled back abroad to prepare for his wife joining there. Six months later, the lady put to bed and the baby was not born premature. The whole thing raised a lot of suspicion, but elders intervened and told my uncle not to ask too many questions if he wants to keep his sanity but accept the baby as his own since he is already married to her and the child is now a product of the marriage and their grandchild. He accepted the advice and they are still living together with a second baby which is not controversial and he showers the first baby with lots of love without further scrutiny. Igbos have an adage that says 'if you over scrutinize an old womans wrapper that you want to wash, don't complain when you find a small piece of excrement' |
Let me say this again. All this trending stories about Nnamdi kanu is mostly from Yoruba controlled media which has made Nnamdi Kanu very popular, because they want a restructured Nigeria which they vigorously campaigned for under Jonathan but now are silent since Buhari took over power. If you check you will observe that Igbo media are not promoting the Biafra issue like the Yoruba owned media, newspapers, radio etc including Nairaland. The Yorubas are the clandestine promoters of Nnamdi Kanu and his propaganda so as to create a rift between the North and Igbos. They even spread fake news that 3 northerners were killed by IPOB 2 days ago so as to incite reprisals but which later turned out to be false and it was realized that soldiers asked IPOB supporters to drink mud water and watched one of with gunshot wound bleed to death in a trending video. The Igbo intelligentsia are not actively supporting Nnamdi Kanu apart from mostly artisans, Okada riders, gala sellers who throng his events which are given adequate publicity and coverage by Nigeria's Western Media. The same Yorubas who create the publicity platform for Nnamdi Kanu to thrive are the same yorubas who come to the open to condemn him and castigate him. Even the Arewa Youths in their communique noted the treachery of the Yoruba politicians but that aspect was given a news blackout because Yorubas control the main stream media in Nigeria. All the corruption cases in Nigeria including the Sultan, IG of Police were given news blackout while every thing about Diezani Alison-Madueke was given too much coverage and news headlines daily because she bears her husbands Igbo surname. Food for thought! |
Yoruba controlled media made Nnamdi Kanu popular, because they want a restructured Nigeria but are too scared to confront Sokoto with their demand. If you check you will observe that Igbo media are not promoting the Biafra issue like the Yoruba owned media, newspapers, radio etc including Nairaland. ClitRaider:Continue to impersonate Yorubas. No right thinking Yoruba person is proud of what the Army is doing, because tomorrow they can do same in the SW. I was in India recently and the only place I saw soldiers was at the airport sitting behind a shield with a signpost in front reading 'Please dont talk to the military personnel keep moving'. Harassing unarmed citizens on the streets is not a soldiers job, attacking journalists doing their jobs and vandalising their secretariat is a shame on us as Nigerians |
The Army should embarrassing Nigerians, why stir the hornets next. Now BBC and other foreign media covering this mess and driving away investors by making Nigeria to look unsafe |
This is what Igbo people call 'Agadi Ekwe Nka' which means an Old woman who is yet to realize that she is now old but still doing teenage misbehavior. |
joeprince23:Thanks for the clarification, I have traveled severally to Akwa Ibom State and found that as you rightly stated Abia and Akwa Ibom are just like one community, similar culture, Ekpo masquerade in Umuahia imported from Akwa Ibom, men tying wrappers, fufu and ukazi soup as main dish, Igbo men loving Akwa Ibom ladies and vice versa. This guy is really an impostor, an Akwa Ibom person wishing death to an Igbo person is like wishing death to his own relations and vice versa. Also there are too many impostors claiming to be Yorubas too on this forum, making the forum to appear clumsy these days. |
We have realized that most of those commenting on Biafra threads claiming to be Yorubas are not Yorubas, most Yorubas dont like making comments on the Biafran matter as they feel it is unnecessarily giving Nnamdi Kanu undue media attention. But many online Fulanis claim to be Yorubas |

They just damaged a portion of the road by burning that wood there. When it rains another pothole will develop there and tomorrow they will be on the streets again to protest against the Govt for not fixing the road. Very idiotic people ![]() |

Close down the quota system Navy and Marine if they can't Police our waters. |
