Aufbauh:Which states are part of this Northern states, can you please name them for us |
Diademk07:Yes you have never heard about Radio Kudirat because you belong to the indomie and Bobo Juice generation ![]() |
seunmsg:You have been going around many Social Media forums and on every topic that mentions Biafra clamouring for conflict between Igbos and Hausas. Why are you Yoruba Muslims like this? What will it profit you if Igbos are attacked in the North or Hausas in the East based on your heavy sentiments by subtly pushing them to clash, you are just a piece of hypocrite and very idiotic. Thats how your people will push other tribes ans when it starts you will be the first to flee and betray ![]() |
KahlDrogo:The difference is that Igbos can give ultimatum but will not violently carry it out on innocent people going about their daily business who may never have about IPOB or MASSOB compared to the north where it is very easy to start a riot and mob action. Youth Corp Members posted to the North are always warned to desist from talking about religion as mere accusation of blasphemy by an almajiri can be deadly just like Late Mr. Akaluka who was beheaded and his head paraded round Kano was accused of using a piece of Koran o clean the anus of his baby, but which ended up being an Arabic newspaper, but the illiterates see anything written in 'Ajami' as Allahs property |
Youths from North and South should organize a summit and chat a way forward for this country rather than issuing threats. The U-turn by the Arewa youths is a welcome development |
NLPsychologist:Fulani stooge. Igbos did not ask for your analysis, just stuff it back into your anus hole |
NLPsychologist:Sorry you are wrong. Tha Police and the Army were deployed to quell any form of public protest brutally; in order to avoid unwarranted loss of life, the people were called upon to stay at home and mourn their loved ones who died during the war and they willing agreed to it. The security agencies were so frustrated by the sit at home that the Imo State Police commissioner was shown on TV moving around the streets of Owerri forcing banks to open their gates and no one listened to him. There were no groups driving around or blocking the roads and preventing people from opening their businesses or moving about. The people simply complied and thats unity. Lets have Yoruba Muslims declare Sit At Home on June 12 if them no dey fear ![]() |
Who cares? ![]() |
Cartel is now the new lexicon for Cabal ![]() One hour and still very few comments on this topic, everyone is commenting on Biafra and Arewa youths threats ![]() |
55 million Naira just to print receipts. Chaiiii chaiii, chaiiiiiii Dia ris God ooooo ![]() |
RedEagle:The thinking remains the same and the people here are still the northern elders |
seunmsg:I dont why you Yoruba Muslims are damn too timid, leave the IPOBians to respond to the Core North Youths (does not include Christian and Middle Belt Youths) threats. You are already shivering and have posted almost a hundred comments subtly appealing to the Hausa and Fulani Youths and you are ready to 'dobale' for them from the tone of your write ups, for how long will you continue to live in this fear? Yoruba Christians seem to be doing much better, see how Gov Ayo Fayose dealt with the Fulani herdsmen issue and since then we have not heard of any attack on Ekiti people and compare him to Ortom of Benue State who keeps appealing to the Fulanis until the State Assembly rose up and said enough and passed the Anti Grazing Bill and now these same 'Northerners' are threatening Benue State and people as if they are not part of the North. Enough of your basket mouth blabbing on this forum.... Leave the Biafra thread for once in your life...... |
haqueurate:You have never lived in the North probably. Unfortunately the average illiterate northerner thinks in one direction as directed by his Mallam or religious leader. He does not know the difference between Igbo and Yoruba. To him they are both 'infidels', he considers the Yoruba Muslim as 'unclean' which is the reason you have worship places called 'Yoruba Mosques' in Abuja and other cities in the north. When they start their crisis Yoruba Muslims in the north dont run to Muslim areas but they quickly move to Christian areas. Ask Yoruba people in Kaduna, Kano, Jos etc if you doubt me. |
Sapiosexuality:Many in the South who have never lived or even served as Youth Corp members in the North think that the average illiterate northerner knows the difference between Yoruba and Igbo during crisis, they are all called 'arna' which means infidel irrespective of their religions or tribe |
seunmsg:I can feel the cowardly fear in your hearts and subtle appeal to the Northern Youths that we are not with the Igbos; we know what you can do please spare us. This kind of statements from Yoruba Muslims like you is the reason why Yorubas in Kwara still 'dobale' to a Fulani Emir. Get out of hear with your timidity. Nonsense! Who is threatening war if not the Northern Youths, IPOB and MASSOB have been peaceful in their agitation. |
Those Northern Youths do not speak for the Middle Belt neither do they speak for the Northern Christians; this is not 1966 when the North was under fiefdom of Sardauna, we are in 2017. Northern minorities have no problem with Igbos but rather with Hausa and Fulani leadership who have dominated everything in the Nigeria and finds the Northern minorities useful ONLY during general elections; using herdsmen and Boko Haram to put them under seige and displace people from their ancestral lands in kaduna, Taraba, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa etc, kidnapping mainly Christian girls in Chibok (which was not carried out by Igbos as they are also victims of BH). The gallant men and women of Middle Belt fought hard against the innocent Igbos, helped in starving them to death to keep Nigeria One and today there is nothing for us to show for effort and that would NEVER be repeated again. Hausa and Fulani were very few who fought in that war and got killed in the trenches because they dominated the officer corp and protected their people in the Army from the 'Ogbunigwes' and rockets. News going around here in the North is that Youths are already moving around taking census of Igbo properties and who will get what building or shop. The Federal Govt needs to step in and act fast on this threat as it is easy to start a riot in the North once the imam declares it during Jumaat prayers, many of the Igbos residing in the North are not part of IPOB just like not every Yoruba citizen is a member of OPC or every Northerner a member of AYF. Moreover, the average Northern youths sees every Southerner as 'inyanmiri and arna' and cant differentiate between Ijaw, Efik or Ibibio and Igbo. The Yorubas are seen as 'infidels' and not spared during crisis (ask people in Kaduna and Jos) because the average Hausa or Fulani man will not stand behind a Yoruba Imam in a mosque to pray. |
Which of the North is talking 'Core North or the other North useful only during elections as Arewa'. Do they think Benue Plateau will fight and die for them like in the 60s? |
KahlDrogo:Shatap there and stop the pretense. We all know why the VP boycotted the ECOWAS Summit ![]() |
When Igbos call Yorubas lily-levered many dont know why. Imagine how an Ag. president of Nigeria boycotted ECOWAS (which we helped in establishing) summit because Israeli PM was coming to address the Heads of State because he wants to be in the good books of the cabals. Israel has achieved a lot in terms of Agriculture which we can learn from but he bungled that opportunity. A new leader was elected and we were not there and you say all is well with this country ![]() |
Congratulations! I bind that spirit that scattered the marriages of Ahmed Musa, Funke Akindele, Tiwa Savage etc from your marriage. Amen |
IamaNigerianGuy:Shhhhh!!!!! Keep your voice down and low; you are in the Library ![]() |
Nigerians putting their frustrations on petty thieves while defending big thieves on tribal and religious on Nairaland ![]() |
Almost every social media group spends time these days discussing about Igbos and Biafra and that means that IPOB has achieved part of its aim in making Igbos the national discuss. Even Seun Osewa initially banned all mentions of Biafra on this forum and he lost a lot of viewers but today Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB makes FP here daily |
Children of nowadays, not a single concern about what people will think, I am sure she already knows the size before this picture |
The Almighty has blessed Nigeria with exceptional talents, all we need is just the enabling environment that will allow every child to excel. |
While many students have just graduated from high school, 18-year-old Nigeria native Nkechinyere Chidi-Ogbolu is not your typical teen. Chidi-Ogbolu just graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a degree in chemical engineering — making her the youngest person to graduate from Howard this year, and one of the youngest in Howard’s history. But that’s not all for Chidi-Ogbolu. She’s now preparing to start a Ph.D. program at the University of California-Davis after the summer ends. She’ll be studying biomedical engineering with a focus on creating and discovering new medicines. “I’ve always been interested in the medical field,” she told USA TODAY College. “But I want to have a broader scale of impact than in treating patients one-on-one.” Chidi-Ogbolu said she’s always been the youngest person in her classes. While most students from Nigeria graduate high school at the age of 16, Chidi-Ogbolu finished high school particularly early, at 14, since she skipped 5th grade and attended an accelerated high school. After high school, she left Nigeria for America and enrolled full-time at Howard University, a historically black university and her first-choice school. “I thought I would be more comfortable at the age going to a school with more people that looked like me and therefore I could more easily relate to,” said Chidi-Ogbolu. “Plus, they gave me a full scholarship, so that definitely helped.” Leaving her parents in Nigeria was difficult, but Chidi-Ogbolu wasn’t alone. Many of her extended family members live in America, including an aunt who lived not far from her dorm, and other family members in Texas and Alabama. She credited her family’s support for her ability to cope with her new surroundings. “I spoke to my mom almost every day on the phone — for over an hour almost every time. My dad and I talked really often too,” Chidi-Ogbolu says, adding that she spent most holidays with her aunts in America. “Talking to them definitely helped sometimes when things were overwhelming.” “My support system was a very big part of why I was able to stay very grounded during the whole journey,” she says. Her friends at Howard were very supportive of her too. Many of her them didn’t initially know how young she was, which gave rise to many moments of surprise. “People usually reacted with shock,” she says. “Then they became really protective.” With the blessings of her parents, Chidi-Ogbolu spent the summer after her junior year researching African weather patterns with Professor Paul Ullrich at UC-Davis. “While I was there, I decided that grad school was what I wanted to do.” She started working on her graduate school applications during her senior year. “I can’t say it was stress-free,” she jokes. Her hard work paid off on February 7, when she received her acceptance letter from UC-Davis. “It was definitely a wonderful moment,” she says. Prasant Mohapatra, UC Davis vice provost of graduate education, and dean of graduate studies, had this to say about Chidi-Ogbolu: “We are delighted to welcome Nkechinyere into the graduate education community at UC Davis. We hope to provide a dynamic educational experience that will deepen and expand her passion for advancing the field of biomedical engineering, and we are truly impressed by her future plans to help people worldwide through scientific research and innovation.” What’s next for her? This summer, she’s taking an advanced biology class at a local community college to prepare for her doctoral program. She’s also working on a book, provisionally titled Tales of an Uber Minor in College. While she says she’s super busy, she does set aside free time to relax. “I love watching movies and series, especially Korean ones, and I like to sing and do karaoke,” she says. Chidi-Ogbolu also has some advice for teens her age. “Don’t limit yourself because you think you can’t do it or because no one you know had done it,” she advises. “You can always be the exception to the rule and end up being exceptional.” http://college.usatoday.com/2017/06/01/she-just-graduated-college-and-is-starting-her-ph-d-and-shes-only-18/

bkool7:South East Senators supported the Special Recognition for Lagos bill because it benefits their people who have a large population based in Lagos, it was Northern Senators who opposed it, stop lying in public or give us a link to any SE Senator that opposed it |
FriendNG:NB: It was the South East APC members who pushed hard for the bill not PDP and they got their SW APC and SS colleagues to support it but the North that wants to eat all the Federal resources alone objected. It has nothing to do with PDP. |
