No he has been doing it, it's a way of showing empathy to the sick, it helps them to restore hope. The Pope does same. He is not contesting any elections now.

It reminds him of how frail the human body can be despite your riches. He doesn't do it for the rich and famous but for the sick.
I used to do hospital visitations and hope to start again, praying to God to bless me with resources to reach out to the sick

A physically challenged man standing up and asking for their rights, the DPO had to apply his conscience and realised that what that Igbo man was protesting is also for the benefit of the Police men and women

Fake. Today is a public holiday so no qualms. Why do igbos have inferiority complex?
How many people are celebrating outside in your neighbourhood, help us to post pictures of jubilant faces with Nigeria flags shouting in ecstasy that Nigeria is 60 and it's a public holiday.
Igbos are mourning the state of Nigeria today and not celebrating a holiday.
No celebratory independence March past in the zone

Who is the"anonymous" lawyer being quoted by The Nation newspaper?? This is why we are in this mess! This is an obvious case of rabid nepotism. You will expect a sensible newspaper house owned by a so-called Southerner to fiercely criticize this act of nepotism but Tinubus newspaper is already providing Buhari and his cohorts with a soft landing, simply because it's the igbos that are once again at the receiving end! Some days in the future it will be the turn of the SW to be at the receiving end, the igbos of course will be left with little alternative other than to play the ostrich! And so buharis devide and rule of the whole south continues to progress! The question is; for how long will this infamy be allowed to go on??
I stopped reading when I saw the Nation newspaper quoting an 'anonymous' lawyer just to spite the Igbos, it's the usual thing that got us into the mess, many Yorubas voted Buhari simply because they felt Igbos opposed him
Politics › Re: Farooq Kperogi: I'm Shocked People Are Shocked By NLC's Treachery by Guyman02:
I attended a meeting at the Villa as part of the Govt negotiation team during the last administration with Labour leaders, after the arguments and quarrels and all the we no go gree in front of the camera and the press the meeting adjourned for lunch break.

Few of us were ushered into a separate room with the labour leaders where a different agreement was reached between Govt and the NLC and the labour leaders informed us about what we have to say to the public when we get back to the conference room and how they will resist it and threaten mass action which is what will be captured by the media. We as Govt reps were told how much it will cost to pay the media editors to publish the story the way we as negotiators wanted for our principals.
After that meeting I felt really sad because I was the youngest person in the team and the future of our country.
I looked at their faces and realised the danger of snitching to Nigerians that they were being deceived by both the Govt and NLC/TUC. sad

As a good leader, I expected Buhari to advise Obaseki to inaugurate remaining lawmakers at least to give peace a chance, having helped obaseki to defeat his own party, but Bubu will not say anything, prefering Crisis here and there in every state of the federation.
It's no longer the duty of Obaseki to inaugurate the members after the first inauguration, it's the responsibility of the Speaker of the House

Sharia that targets only poor people is that one Sharia?
Saudi Arabia, UAE, Brunei, etc practice a different kind of Sharia which brings development, education, quality lifestyle etc
When Nuhu Ribadu as Chairman of EFCC asked former Governor Yerima who behanded a man who stole goat to appear before a Sharia court for corruption he claimed that the constitution grants him immunity from prosecution.

Family › Re: How Do I Get My Wife To Pay Back Money I Loaned To Her? by Guyman02: 7:38am On Sep 28, 2020
Atk1nson:
Baba, it's like this everywhere o. Women rarely return money back, although it should be easier with your wife, just tell her you will borrow from someone with interest and deduct at source from your contribution to the home. So she should prepare for hard times.

Don't be fooled again sha, I personally don't borrow women money because I found out its difficult asking them to repay. I just give them what I can afford to loose.
I helped a lady to borrow money by standing as surety, till now she has refused to pay back after several months, in order not to damage trust reposed on me I have to pay the money to the owner without telling her while waiting for her to repay and I explained the situation to the owner.
Borrowing money to women can be risky, if you mount pressure she will play the feminine card.

Let him look for where to borrow to repay to maintain his hard earned reputation before the meeting date and learn his lesson from it. The best she can do is to give him a little amount and I doubt if he can get up to N50K

Politics › Re: The Lagos Infrastructural Revolution by Guyman02: 5:40am On Sep 27, 2020
Ebonyi which is one of the states with the least allocation has done much better than Lagos with so much money at its disposal. Lagos is a disappoint, most countries in Africa don't get half of Lagos revenue and they have better infrastructure.
Now somebody will want us to believe that Tinubu was the best governor in Nigeria during his time forgetting that he never achieved a quarter of what Jakande did in one term in Lagos.
I am not impressed angry

That one who calls himself Party Leader his children don't participate in debates to become Iyaloja and Babaloja of all Lagos markets neither do his associates who harass Lagosians daily collecting Owo Shiaman used to snatch ballot boxes during elections.
The man he repackaged from a tyrant to a fake Democrat never participated in any debates to become president.
Debates don't count until we are ready to implement electoral reforms

Christianity Etc › Re: Kukah To Politicians: Stop Running To Pastors, Imams For Endorsements by Guyman02: 9:21pm On Sep 22, 2020
The reality is that in the North no politician can even request for fair hearing in accordance with Islamic injunction on the man sentenced to death for blasphemy in Kano because the religious leaders can easily misinterpret it for political interests and it will be used against that person during election as an 'arna' or enemy of Islam.
In the South just one comment from a senior pastor of a popular church can sway votes in favour of a terrible candidate..
In Nigeria religion remains the Opium of the masses especially Abrahamic religions

When I knew that APC was poised to lose Edo election was when they chose Ganduje and Uzodinma as their campaign managers instead of Zulum and Fayemi.

The pragmatic Governor Zulum should also extend this hand of fellowship to other soldiers especially the non commissioned officers who paid the supreme price in the fight against Boko Haram.

Only Lagos state can buy Ghana. Ignorant gaynian. Your economy is driven by alomo bitters export no wonder your people cried when we closed borders. Thank Nigerians for pumping tuition fees into your wretched economy. How many Ghanaians will even smell $5000 in their lifetime? $1m is too small, you people should demand $1 billion for shops.
Nigeria should ban Alomo from Ghana so that they will swim inside it in Kumasi.
