Thanks bro for showing interest in replying.

So if I am to go for ICAN, and at the same working, will they be preferential treatment for working class people in terms of not writing exams during working days?

Secondly sir, do one get certified immediately upon completion of the program?

There's is no preferential treatment for working class. Working or not we both write the exam d same day.

Yeah since u have d working experience already u get certified on ur induction day.
Hope u get d message very well. I still dey learn how to quote on nairaland

1. The fact is when u need d certificate really matter when comparing ICAN with ACCA. The truth is ACCA is international so it's more rated than ICAN probably if u wanna travel abroad. But if u need the certificate early my brother go for ICAN.
2. Yeah for a banking and finance graduate u will be exempted from some papers. I think u will start from skills level but u will write 6 papers instead of 4 papers for an accounting graduate
3. Brother ICAN question is more cheaper than ACCA. And if u are very focus within 1 and half year u done.

Op I agreed with you to some extent. Is very true that employer will never employ a liability they will always look for someone that can add value to their company. But where are the graduate job please? I Av a guy that graduated from a UK university and come to Naija with d prospect that he will be employ by a company. Imagine this guy's was disqualified because he had no experience. This same guy went to Romania and got a job immediately with his certificate. We need more company that will spell out graduate job

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Important Is Getting A Professional Certificate In Nigerian Job Market?? by habdolleez: 1:00pm On Feb 19, 2018
What course did u study?

In my opinion, it is not very marketable.
I have a Project Management Professional Certification from Comptia Project+, an international body, I also possess a Customer Relationship Management Professional qualification, and both certifications are somehow limited. I'm presently writing ICAN now.
I'll advice you to go for a professional qualification that is marketable and highly in demand, if you can't afford ICAN nw, try to do NIM, CIBN or CITN they are cheaper, and will be more relevant than d project mangt.

Wow!!! Project management is becoming d next big thing by 2020 so that's an opportunity for bro... More company will need project management by 2020 because of their capital project... I am presently at d final stage of ICAN and am planning to go for project management in Canada by 2019.

Most Canadian universities accept only 2:1 applicants for masters.

Yeah thats why I want to apply for post-graduate diploma so that I can further for my master

You can do yourself good by searching out for schools offering your courses in Canada. Make a long list and select the best one for yourself based on the admission requirements as well as other benefits you would derive from the programme. Its a pity that postgraduate diploma do not attracts funding as MASTERS AND PHD...

Thanks for the information, I will love to apply for masters but I had second class lower and most university in Canada don't accept it. If u know any university that accept it please I won't mind if u can share them with me.

Bro seriously u don't have any problem, we are in the same shoe the only difference is that I have many female friends I relate with. The worst thing is to look down on urself. Feel free to relate with anybody. Sometime when I feel lonely I will go to environment of informal people just to make myself happy for a while,i laugh and go back to my home. I don't worry about anything I just focus on my goal and pray to God. Just focus and don't get distracted when the time come u will surely have ur wife. 116... Believe. That's my motto

Throughout my teenage years I never indulged in anything that is remotely considered as youthful exuberances. No parties.. No hangouts.. No rebellion.. No fun.. No girls.

I'm what you'll consider as a pretty decent kid. Been always studious and devote. I felt those stuff were distractions and a waste of time. so I was always buried in books and church activities.

I thought being uptight and serious would make me "successful" . Unfortunately.... It appears I might have been wrong. I see my friends who practically live in orgies and revelries enjoy life and still have things work fine for them. So I guess screw seriousness!

Recently I've been having a strange feeling of emptiness. I read up some books and most suggested that lack of love/companionship can be a major reason for feelings of emptiness.

It then dawned on me that I've never asked a girl out in my entire life. I've never dated. I never thought it was a big deal and I pretty enjoy my company alone. I assumed I'll get a girl when am ready for marriage. But hey... I don't even know if I'll be alive that long (tomorrow isn't guaranteed).

I've recently been feeling very lonely .. do you think it's a problem I've never experienced relationship with a girl at my age? I'll be 23 next year.

I don't care about intimacy cus you can easily get that without dating no .
