It baffles me hw people think monikers opening travel threads owe them continuous update undecided
Imagine cursing someone because he/she refuses to update his/her thread lipsrsealed
That's nigerians for you. Most of them posses entitlement mentality especially the ones on nairaland which is not good at all. OP has the right to do whatever he/she want. We can only beg but we can't force him or her to post on a daily basis.

IF you are under 40 years old and can take the exertions of the hustle, I say leave Nigeria. Do it in the name of your children, born and unborn. Do it for yourself. Leave that broken and broke country for awon politicians and their friends, the woke intellectuals and writers, smh. Leave if you don't want to spend the rest of your life "oing Gen" and "Off Gen"
What breaks my heart is, Power will never be fixed. Yes, I said it, quote me 10 Years from now. You'll see!
The "do business in Nigeria and be going abroad for vacation" gang won't agree with you grin

Gotta be honest, china wasn’t even the 5th choice country I wanted to travel to, but I just needed to get out of Nigeria after so many failed attempts and the link I saw to china looked very easy and straight so I had to take it. But trust me being here for the past 1year and Nine months, I have never for one day regretted the decision I made coming to china. It’s really fun and eye opening.
One of the first lessons I learnt here is the fact that most people don’t like Africans, And even worse if you’re Nigerian. But who cares? As long as you’re getting what you came to look for, you shouldn’t be bothered.
In this beautiful country I have met some of the most amazing people on earth and as well I have met some of the most stupid humans you can ever think off.
One very important thing I need to tell anyone reading this, Asia countries are one of the easiest places to make money if you’re smart Hard working and you’re arrive here legally, forget Europe, Canada and America those places to me are really better of when you have enough money already and you’re just seeking for a better life in a sane world.
Living in china opened my eyes to so many things I never thought was actually very easy, and these are the things I want to share with you guys as this thread goes on
PS: china is one of the easiest Country to travel to, but certainly not for Nigerians, even countries as poor as Niger, it takes them relatively 1week to get a Chinese visa, and they don’t even need an agent to apply for them.... I know my story isn’t fun but bear with me, I nor sabi write nah manage I Dey...
Valid point bro smiley cool

What of language barrier

I am following
If you are really serious about migrating to a developed country, language will never be a barrier.

It's an added advantage, I have said this time without number. Language usually open doors for people. A good example is ThePallidMan, a naira lander who learnt Hangul (korean language) all by himself in Nigeria before he successfully migrated to South Korea few years ago.

Don't see languages as barrier, rather see it as something that create opportunity.

Prost.

hello my brother , i am very very sorry to be responding late .
now about ur question , i usually tell people that most of the time , your success in a foreign land isn't dependent on the opportunities in that place but about your own personal readiness and preparations to exploit the even slightest loophole in those places . many have gone to London ,Canada ,USA and have turned out to be average person while some left for Togo , Benin or even Gambia and became celebrities or even millionaires
You are always on point boss. Kudos smiley

@Bolded, Yes but it is too far.

That's true, the discouraging thing about New Zealand is that insane distance.
However I personally like the lifestyle and scenery of New Zealand.
In the end it all depends on you ...
But might I chip in that given your profile, your best shot at immigration would be going through the student route.
Yeah, that's just the only demerit New Zealand has. New Zealand is a cool place but I don't want to stay far away from Nigeria (because of my parents)

Of course, student route remains the easy route to immigrate to another country

[quote author=optimusprime2 post=95088953]Glad to be pulled in here.
I am happy that you are doing proper research before your migration, and that's all sorts of brilliant.

Latin America is really underrated I would say, but for good reason... the language. Once you format your self to reside in any of the countries there for example Chile, you kinda get stuck there because they slowly seep into your soul and you get attached (South American magic) I know a guy who went to Paraguay in the plan that he would relocate to an English speaking country after getting papers... today he is married and settled and loves Paraguay to a fault, he got citizenship but trust me he is indeed a proud citizen, who is not thinking about leaving anymore.

Most Latin American countries actually give citizenship/PRs faster than any other country but these things are not known because people don't naturally tilt towards that region I.e Paraguay 3-4years, Chile 4years, Uruguay 3-4yrs, Brazil could even be 2years depending on what happens to you while there i.e you grab the language fast, you got one of their hot women pregnant, or you earn a very fat salary etc.

However as a black guy I would not recommend Argentina to you, because they have a rather subtle way in which their society sends black people to the background.

Schooling is the best route to go towards Latin America and begin your journey but the procedure can be very longwinded especially since most schools there do not have English speaking admissions personnel.

My stance for Europe remains unchanged... its overated.

Have you considered New Zealand?/quote]

Wow, this is really an insightful piece, thanks alot boss smiley

Lol my answer was based on what people believe grin
If these countries are stepping stone to USA why aren't massive immigration from these countries to USA? Even Mexico that is sharing border with USA still struggling to migrate there lol
I still don't believe having these passports will make it easy migrating to USA.
Maybe the citizens don't have interest in immigrating to USA smiley I don't know why people feel the world revolves round USA only.

Any country that meet my needs is my home be it Portugal, Russia or even Croatia. I don't like the idea of moving up and down from one country to another just to migrate permanently to USA

Brazil or Chile are still better
Columbia is good
It’s easy to move from SA to NA
