Education / Re: MY NIPOST EXPERIENCE - Nigerian Postal Service by hadassaheke(f): 9:16am On May 15, 2016
Bethiano:
Hello friends,

This is a thread where we come to share our experience with the Nigerian postal service (NIPOST).

Nipost has undergone transformations recently, especially in the way and manner they do business . A lot of Nigerians have benefited from this transformation.

How be it, I do not claim it is all wonderful experience for everybody.
I know some people may have one or two "not to good" experience , but am sure we have a lot of good testimonies from Nigerians .

So let's here your experience, so we can help drive this transformation of the Nigerian postal service.

I will be sharing news on Nipost, you can also ask questions, an I will do my best to answer based on the much I know or I will refer you to Nipost customer service officers for more information.

You can also make recommendations, give ideas of what more could be done to make NIPOST great.

Thanks

Bethel Ukazu
The NIPOST AMBASSADOR
Good day,
Please I sent my application documents to Germany on the 27th of April through Nipost office in Enugu state (the one at Okpara Avenue by the railway). I was not given any tracking no. And the school I sent it to, hasn't gotten the documents. What do I do?

Yes, please use a notary public lawyer. It's better. Which course are you applying to? I sent you a PM.
I have replied your PM. I applied for Power engineering and I also applied for the m. SC program in Physics (Applied and Engineering Physics). Thanks

Ofcourse yes, it is allowed. Even two different people can use the same method. Though I don't really know much about TNT in Enugu, but if they can't assure you of 3-day delivery, just use FedEx or Dhl. Ask for student price when you get to Dhl office, it should be around 9k5 or something. Shalom
I guess I'll have to resend my documents ASAP as my certified documents did not carry a seal on it.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate!!!!

Since you will be sending your documents again, make sure the documents that need certification are properly certified, that is with a seal. Mine was rejected because it was not properly certified I had to resend the documents again. So learn from my mistake.
Seriously? I certified mine, but it was without a seal, I guess I'll have to go use a notary public before resending ASAP!!!! Thank you very much for this info.

I will advice you prepare another document as soon as possible. Nipost is my greatest regret of the month. I guess those guys wait till they have enough parcel going to your direction before they head for delivery. The earlier, the better. TUM gets load of applications. I don't think submitting two documents should a problem since they will contain the same content.
My dear it's well. At least, I have learnt from my mistake. Thank you very much.

It takes TNT, FedEx , dhl and others 3 days to get its destination. SInce today is still 14th of May, you can wait till like on the 24th or 25th of this month. If by then nothing has happened, use TNT if you are in Lagos, it is around 7-8k and it takes 3 days to get there. Get all the documents ready and wait till around that period before sending it if nothing has been heard as touching that of Nipost. If you send it on the 24th or 25th, it will get there on the 28th of may depending on the actual day/date u send it. No, there is no problem at all if both documents find there ways there. Shalom
Thank you very much for your advise, I guess I'll just do that. Am serving in Enugu, so I'll look for that Tnt office in Enugu. Also, I applied for two different courses at TUM, if and when it happens that I have to resend my documents to them, can I put the two documents in separate envelopes, and then put them in a much bigger one. And send as one document, so as to save cost?

Good day people, please I sent my application documents to TUM on the 27th of April through Nipost, and TUM is yet to get my application documents.
I plan to resend the documents on Monday through UPS or DHL, as the deadline for submission is May 31st.
My question is this: is it advisable I still wait for Nipost or should I go ahead and resend my documents? Also, if after I resend the documents and the one from Nipost finally gets there , will that be a problem?

Very funny at bolded but well said. When u have doubts regarding any info on a school's website, the best thing to do is to contact the admissions office, international office or student center. U can call them if email doesnt work. Get info from the source not mediums lol
Lol, bro I think you misunderstood him, by "medium of instruction" he meant a letter from your undergraduate uni stating that the language of instruction in the course of your bachelor studies was English.

Hi, when I did mine, I gave the names of the different schools I wanted to use, and they addressed it to the different schools. Just talk to the people in charge
Hope this helps you.

PS: I was given more than one letter, cos I applied to different schools.

You can sort out student insurance after your admission is sure. Insurance is only for enrollment and doesn't affect admissions. APPLICATIONS FOR DAAD scholarship for this winter ended November last year.

Hi Guys,
I need your advice I wish to further my MSc in hospitality and tourism management in germany. I am a polytechnic graduate and I just finished my postgraduate diploma in same course.
my question is
1. what are the requirements needed
2. my research for the course above shown it's only thought in German language and one taught in English are in private university. pls does anyone know any public university teaching the said course in English?
3. what is the tuition fee And accommodation fee like?
4. do German schools do request for TOEFL as part of admission requirements for admission to graduate programs?
4. what is the living situation for students in Germany as job regards to job search?
Anticipate your kind response.
Hi, I know you might not probably like what am about saying......but, I'll still say it
1. why don't you try googling, cos different schools have different requirements. e.g school A may require reference letter, whilst school B may not.
2. Since your search shows only private university offer the course in English, why not go to their respective website and make enquiries about tuition fees, requirements and the rest?
3. That depends on the school, cos some school accept a letter from your school stating that ya studies was carried out in English.
4. Try and have patience, charge your phone or laptop and read this page from pali to pali... trust me its fun all the way!!

Finally, nothing good comes easy.........try my idea it might help.........by the way am a hopeful like you too o....nur vex o
