Good question. Both your questions is one

““And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 ASV

When Adam was created he was inanimate until the breath of life(Life-force) was breathed into him by God. Then he became a living soul. Note that Adam “became a living soul.” He was not given a soul but he himself became a soul.
After receiving lifeforce, breathing started. It's breathing that sustain the lifeforce. Without breathing, the person will die.
Just like how electricity power(Spirit/lifeforce) powers our electrical appliances (Soul). If the electricity is interrupted, the appliances die(Dead soul/inanimate)

So I made some research to find the meaning of Pneuma and Rau'ch. Your definitions are a bit faulty. Below are my findings from my study, I advise you to make further study on the subject.

I quoted Zachariah 12.1, not any of these you are quoting. Also, the thing with ancient Hebrew is that most scholars do not agree hence we have different explanations.

I don't understand Hebrew either. That's why I asked you to make use dictionary and corcondance to aid your understanding of this polysemic word.
For example, the English word 'Iron' may have different meaning in different context. It could mean a type of metal, pressing Iron or even an element in chemistry.

When it comes to studying words found in the Bible, you also need to know the context in which the word appears and the meaning also.

I'll go over this to make sure you understand it.

It takes deligent study to know that the context of Rau'ch /Pneuma is just the action of air in motion and not a personal force .

So, it's the same impersonal life force(Spirit) that powers humans that also powers animals.

There are two nature. Physical being with physical body and spirit being with spirit/spiritual body.
There is no way someone can be both at a time.(Don't mistake it with other meanings of Spirit). Heavenly being and creatures are spirit being while earthy creatures are physical being.

'If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one'(1cor 15:44)

Christ told the thief on the cross 'today, you would be with me in paradise. We know the thief died. his body did not go to paradise. We know Christ was not lying.

Good that you aknowledge that Jesus didn't go to paradise that day.

The thief asked to be remembered “….when you come into your kingdom”, in other words at a later date. Jesus is saying “I will tell you now..”

“I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.”

The comma has been put in the wrong place, reinforcing the translators’ view that Jesus went to heaven and that the thief went with him.

Jesus spent three days in the grave as the gospel accounts state.

Yes, you're right. We celebrated Christmas until 1927.

So once we discovered that Jesus wasn’t born in December, and that the December 25th celebration was actually a pagan celebration. We dropped it immediately.

Many people who claim to be Christians acknowledge the pagan roots of Christmas but continue to celebrate it anyway. Jehovah’s Witnesses try our best to please Jehovah and view things as He does, which including shunning what he hates. God detest such pagan celebrations and so do we, no matter how colourful people paint it. cheesy

Now, I see where the problem is. You're mixing them as the others answering your question.
The Bible writers use the Hebrew word 'Pneuma' or Rau'ch that was translated to 'Spirit' in English. It is a polysemic word.
It is a word with different meaning. If you're not deligent in your study, you can mistake one for another.
Let me highlight those cases

1. Wind.
In context, Wind is translated from Pneuma(Spirit in English) . Understandably, as a virtue of being invisible. (Ex 10:13;(Zec 2:6). You can consult the bible dictionary and lexicon to confirm this.

2. Breath of Spirit/ life force.
The Spirit here thus thus refers to an invisible force (the spark of life) that animates all living creatures.(Gen 2:7;Psalm 104:29). The spirit here is not a person.

3. Spirit Person.
The Pneuma(Spirit) here, when referring to heavenly creatures contrast earthly creatures with fleshy and physical bodies. God is a spirit( Joh 1:18; 1Ti 1:17)).This does not mean that God is an impersonal, bodiless force like the wind.

The basic reason why Jehovah’s Witnesses avoid blood transfusions is in the Christian Bible, in Acts 15:28, 29:

For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you except these necessary things: to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you

Jehovah’s Witnesses understand that “to keep abastaining from blood” includes not only drinking blood, but transfunding blood. And that it is necessary. Necessary to what? To not offend Jewish Christians? The context of the chapter indicates that they are dealing with what is necessary to “be saved” (Acts 15:1).

People of other religions interpret that abstaining from blood only means not to ingest blood, so you can transfund blood into your body and suppossedly you are still abstaining from blood. In the JWs mind frame, this doesn’t make any sense. cheesy

Some people even claim that abstaining from blood only means not to drink blood, but you can eat dishes with blood among its ingredients. This is even more nonsensical to us.

The underlying reason for this scriptural command is that God views blood as representing life. (Leviticus 17:14) So we avoid taking blood not only in obedience to God but also out of respect for him as the Giver of life.

We understand that obeying God is more important than life itself, following Christ’s example. But that doesn’t mean that we want to die.
Blood transfusion is pretty much a new medical procedure that gain popularity after the gruesome second word war.

Unfortunately, we don't belief in faith healings, miracles practiced today, We love life and we'll do anything in our power to secure this precious life God gave us.

Interesting, [b]we accept transfusion but the bloodless ones and we resort to bloodless medicine[/b]. Fortunately, there are good professionals and researchers willing to help us and any other patients who opt for this alternative.

I had discussion with a person just recently and he is alive because of his parents were not Jehovah witness. Imagine, if they were that nice individual would have been long dead. I have been in the hospital once this year as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and remain on my stand on blood transfusions.

Medical professionals respected my right to choose non-blood medical options. There are many available!

My point is that people don't die from not accepting blood. Doctors don't guarantee, that if you choose the blood transfusion option you will not die. Ofcourse! Many do take blood transfusion and they die cheesy

Regardless of whether someone chooses the blood or bloodless treatment, if they die they die from the injury, or the disease!

Secondly how come Moses visited Jesus Christ on the Mount of transfiguration.

On the way down the mountain Jesus said it was a vision, and later he said no man had ascended to heaven. I'm sure you know what a vision is right?

Moses is still in the memorial tombs awaiting a resurrection. . Jesus taught his Disciples that the dead would rise in the last days. (John 11:21)

The Moses in that vision is not the person Moses. Moses in this vision represents the Law and Elijah represented the Prophets in the vision. The Law and the Prophets pointed to the Christ.

Thirdly how come the gospel is taught to the dead 1peter 4.6
Let's get something clear, it's the body that dies not the spirit.

You need deligent and extensive study of God's word.
Here, Peter is writing these words to a very much alive Christian audience in the first century and his subject is about those who are spiritually dead from God’s standpoint. There is absolutely nothing in this scripture or any other that says the dead that Peter refers to as being preached to were the immortal spirits of already physically dead persons. No!

What ring on many people's mind when the they hear the word 'Spirit' is what the movies produce as a conscious being teleporting everywhere.
What the bible teaches as the SPIRIT in humans is completely different from that.
The English word Spirit is etymology of the Hebrew word pneuma(Gr Naphesh) which means simply a Breath or a blow of breath

Someone stated this earlier;

What happens to this breath of life/spirit after death?
God's word saidBoth humans and animals “have but one spirit.” (Ecclesiastes 3:19). It's the same thing that happens to both the human and animal's spirit. Also, like when the invisible electricity (Spirit) that powers our appliances(body) goes off.
It's only God that can return this spark of life like the energy company.
