sonmvayina: Your question is just one. What you don't know is that all religions claim to be the true one, and everybody believes their own religion -or position about religion- is the correct one.(even you) I’ve never heard anybody say: “As for religion (or politics or whatever), I believe this and that, but I am wrong” The interesting thing is not the fact that someone believes to be right, but their reasons for that belief. And our reasons are in our understanding of the Bible as a Jehovah's witnesses in Hebrew Have you take your time to examine God's word prophesy through Isaiah on what we be the identifying mark of his true worshippers? Truth is, No idol or false worshippers can meet this criteria. Never! (Isaiah 2:4) ...They will beat their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore. I'm not always a Jehovah's witnesses but I can only see this fulfilments of this prophesy in the gathering of JWs. It's not just that they don't carry guns to kill people, they are peacemaker and were able to eradicate RACISM. If this is not by God's power, I don't know it is. |

haddeylium: What a response Jehovah’s witnesses don't have to carry GUNS to kill another Jehovah’s witness. Not everyone kill another by using a gun. Domestic violence and abuse kills, child abuse kills, spiritism kills. Oga no be by GUN. Materialism and covetousness kills, Wife swapping kills Remove this regimented kind of thinking related to carrying guns. To your Racism palaver Up till today fellow Jehovah’s witnesses still find it difficult to give their sons and daughters in marriage to fellow Jehovah’s witnesses from different tribes or ethnic groups and backgrounds. Spare us your RACISM eradication. |

haddeylium: Somnviya, and I think this is very simple. I can see the fulfilments of the prophesy in the gathering of JWs. So, I waste no time in joining them . And this organization has been the sweetest thing that has ever happened to me. I cannot clean tears flooding my mentions oo , if anybody should see this fulfilment else where, HE should join them also Very simple math |

achorladey: It's crazy the response. JWs are just about 8.5m people. The world's population is about 8billion people. They are such a small group. They are not even up remotely close to 1% of the World's population and they are talking of some prophesy fulfilled with their group as regards guns. Are JWs supposed to carry gun to kill themselves?! I mean how retarded can haddeylium be. Who do they report to when they have civil cases? Ain't it the Police with guns? Haddeylium, do you have complete brain cells?! If the Police should all drop their arms. Will your tiny organization despite your 100 of years false changed teachings be able to maintain public peace and security. You are deluded like your Governing Body 8-men realtors and you don't just know it. You are claiming Jeremiah's prophesy for your tiny organization but won't claim the false prophecies your organization really gave. Jehovah witnesses in Nigeria you all said is about 400,000. They are not even remotely close to 1% of the Nigerian population and you talk of prophecy fulfilled with your tiny group. The deviant Rutherford effect!! 1 Like |

RussellRutherfo: Will your tiny organization despite your 100 of years teaching be able to maintain public peace and security Reality says NO. Even within their religious organisation they find it difficult to maintain public peace and security. We don hear cases of domestic violence such as wife battering wey na people wey dem dey call christendom and people of the world go settle case. Who do they report to when they have civil cases? Ain't it the Police with guns? Just try go close to their convention grounds or kingdom halls to do small protest, you go see them sharperly calling police and security operatives to come to their rescue. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Well i'll enlighten you, the dwelling places Jesus promised the 144,000 in heaven is not to be built by humans but places where Jesus (Archangel Michael) drove away the former occupants {Revelations 12:7-8} but as for righteous servants of God who will live on earth they will build their own houses and live in it! Isaiah 65:21-23 compare to Matthew 5:5 Surely you don't even know anything about Jehovah's Witnesses! |

Jesus Christ is not Angel Michael. He is not one of the many Chief Princes that Michael is or errand boys of God that Michael is. Daniel 10:13 KJV — But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. tctrills: "A particular discipline or branch of learning, especially one dealing with measurable or systematic principles rather than intuition or natural ability" Oxford Dictionary Science connotes what is WORKING not what isn't producing fine results. So if there is still ongoing debates on the end result of a system then such is better referred to as experiment not accurate knowledge. Many died after blood transfusion while some survived the process, many also died without blood transfusion while some who got alternative non-blood treatment survive. Therefore no scientist can confidently say that it's due to blood transfusion that lives were saved. Remember the motto of all medical practitioners: "WE CARE BUT GOD HEALS" So do you think any right thinking professional in that field will ignore what the true HEALER says regarding the care for life? Well when it comes to KNOWLEDGE we know that everyone has gotten it because KNOWLEDGE is the accumulation of useful information But WISDOM is the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of accumulated information which is for LASTING BENEFITS Real Scientists think about the LASTING BENEFITS of what they will do regarding human health, it's the faithless ones among them that are hasty when it comes to the treatment of creature in God's image! |

MaxInDHouse:I don't think you are qualified to talk about science. From your writeup, you have shown that you don't understand the basic scientific method. Now allow me to teach you. The scientific method is a process of determining what is and what is not. We use what is established to determine what isn't. saying many have died after a blood transfusion is like saying many still die after taking malaria medicine. This doesn't mean malaria medications do not work. I beg you to stick to the bible and leave science for those of us that do it for a living. You again said So do you think any right thinking professional in that field will ignore what the true HEALER says regarding the care for life? The answer to this is yes. No science is established based on what any religion feels or believes. The scientific method had nothing to do with your religious inclination. That is why we have had amazing world-changing science coming from people of all sects. Now, what is the science of blood transfusion? Blood transfusions replace blood that is lost through surgery or injury or provide it if your body is not making blood properly. You may need a blood transfusion if you have anemia, sickle cell disease, a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia, or cancer. This is an established process recognized by every single medical body. so unless you come up with new findings just keep to the bible. The good thing about the bible is that anyone can claim to be an expert without being challenged. But in science, you don't just say anything. Again, science is not a democracy, it's about proof of concept not about what is popular. So when you quoted a newspaper opinion piece as your science it shows you are not really serious about your science. We do not argue with science. We prove science using empirical data. 1 Like |

tctrills: Well you failed woefully! Because i never said blood transfusion doesn't keep the patient alive for more days but what is the end result after decades? Most patients that have undergone blood transfusion surely develop illnesses in the future of course they can't connect such illnesses with the blood taken due to the timeframe. When God said abstain from fornication does it mean all fornicators will contact deadly diseases? NO! But even though some may die after contacting deadly diseases through it all those engaging in it will later suffer either psychological or emotional crisis in the future. So when our God says "abstain from blood" {Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 3:7; Deuteronomy 12:23; Act 15:20,29} there's nothing any faithless, hopeless and worthless researcher can say to make us turn against what the greatest healer (God) say in the Bible. We will put God first then anything else may follow! Matthew 6:33 |
Re: Jw.org: 100 Years Of Failed Prophecies. by tctrills: 2:02pm On Dec 15, 2021 |
MaxInDHouse:There is zero scientific backing to your statement that Most patients that have undergone blood transfusion surely develop illnesses in the future. What sickness do they develop? What percentage of people develop such sicknesses? This is where science comes in. You need to show me the data. I am very open to learning. Just point me to the data. I keep saying we cannot discuss this topic on 2 fronts. choose one, do we discuss science or religion. Abstain from blood could mean 1 Abstain from shedding blood 2 Abstain from eating blood 3 Abstain from touching blood 4 Abstain from seeing blood In fact, there was no blood transfusion at the time the bible was written so it clearly wasn't talking about that. But then, if you want to talk science, show me, studies, facts, and data. We can argue religion but we can never argue science. It's based on evidence. Provable evidence. In science, we don't just open our mouths and spew out things that are not verified. We do that in religion but not science. 3 Likes |

tctrills: You're just running around like a clown in the circus! My question to you again! Doctors always write this in all hospitals: "WE CARE BUT GOD HEALS " Then i asked you: tctrills: Your response clearly shows that you're trying to lie in behalf of those who said they rely on God as healer. I'm not arguing with you about science because everyone believe in science but when it comes to treatment the professionals themselves rely on God. So if God says "ABSTAIN from blood" Each person must choose how to handle that statement, you're not in any position to impose your own interpretation on me be you a scientist or not. I'm not saying you should not go for a blood transfusion but all i'm saying is "since it doesn't guarantee life then each person has the right to accept or reject it" i believe that as a health professional you should know that each patient has the right to the treatment of their choice! |
Re: Jw.org: 100 Years Of Failed Prophecies. by tctrills: 2:45pm On Dec 15, 2021 |
MaxInDHouse:Doctors always write this in all hospitals: CARE BUT GOD HEALS You only find this in religious, mostly Nigerian Christian hospitals. It has nothing to do with the facts. If the doctor was nonreligious, you would not find this written in the hospital. I'm not arguing with you about science because everyone believe in science I am happy you have finally decided to stay away from science and stick to religion. Each person must choose how to handle that statement, you're not in any position to impose your own interpretation on me be you a scientist or not. This is the beauty of religion, you can give it any interpretation but you don't try that in science. My point was to stick to what you know. You obviously have some experience discussing religion. stick to that but you clearly don't understand how science works so don't even try. I have no problem with your beliefs. I wouldn't teach you what to believe but when you began teaching pseudoscience, I felt the need to correct you. 1 Like |

tctrills: I told you from the beginning that SCIENCE must stay on it's own while GOD'S word must stay on it's own, if you choose what SCIENCE say about human health over what God says i'm not in any position to query you just as you have no right to tell me how my own treatment should go simply because you choose SCIENCE over God's word. Once someone doesn't believe in God then such a person is not qualified to treat me. Even if such a person believes in Ifa, Sango or Orunmila so far the person believes in the supernatural i will go for treatment in his place but never will i entrust my wellbeing in the hands of someone who gives no glory to God! |
