sekem:Job loving society! So job loving to the point of thinking to create a job without a duty, need or a responsibility (Peace Corps comes to mind). A huge percentage of youths are not adding value to the economy even in the slightest bit and then turn around to blame others for their own woes. Some even heap insults on Nigeria when, in fact, they are the failed individuals that populate the land. Entrepreneurship holds the key to individual emancipation and by extension, national glory. Entrepreneurs are emperors and empresses who create their own empires within the environment they find themselves! My respect to all who own a business in Nigeria! E no easy! |
Nltaliban:It's just for a season. It's time for a decline in morals and there's very little anyone can do about it when the media, streets, churches, schools, markets etc are soaked in the trend. Just keep your head up high, guard your heart and lead your kids, (and maybe your spouse , if he/she agrees with you). Seasons come and go so do not worry. |
Evablizin:See where this one is going with the topic o! Na wa... |
madridguy:Na so my colleague go put leg for the same trouser with im In-law, unfortunately, na im sister in-law trouser e go put leg, 9 months later house catch fire because dem no fit hide am again. |
judecares1:OK. I asked about your skills because I wouldn't want you to learn a new one but develop the current one(s). If the person you're trying to help has any skill, it's a good place to start. Skills are like talents, people would pay for your services so instead of going into a new business, I suggest you use that 100k to acquire tools and equipment relating to the skill and GROW A BUSINESS! Have fun and good luck |
seunowokade:I've seen a copy of this picture. It was taken at Enugu on 18 February 1948. From 3rd left is the grandfather of my classmate at university. They were all Constables then. |
judecares1:First, what personal skill(s) do you have? Patiently waiting for your response... |
Even Fani Kayode himself knows these kids are naïve in their demand. |
Vikky014:you think married men don't sleep around? i guess that makes marriage a hypocrisy too. next he is gonna need to free himself from the hypocrisy of marriage too. |
Go further by adding pictures of your work. Don't you wish to convince prospective clients? |
Goodgesture:Philanthropist... Camera philanthropist... Stage philanthropist... Meat pie philanthropist... Generous minded philanthropist... Humiliating people on stage because she wanted to give them chin chin and zobo. She try. Oya, go and open a new thread for your Dublin based Nigerian philanthropist and continue with the show please.

Which soldier has time for stinking Boko Haram's wives with their stinking black hijab? Maybe CJTF! |
ObaOloye:That's why they flocked to join Peace Corps and borrowed money to line Mr. Dickson Akor's pocket with free cash just because they thought someone somewhere owe them employment even if the employment is into an aimless organization. |
Roll call of military/security organizations currently funded by the FG 1. Fire Service (OK but neglected, suffering too much sef) 2. Immigration (OK) 3. Civil Defence (overlap duties) 4. Customs (OK and generates revenue) 5. NDLEA (overlap duties but generates revenue) 6. VIO (overlap) 7. Road Safety (overlap duties but generates revenue) 8. Vigilante (OK) 9. Prison Warden (OK) 10. Police (OK) 11. Army (OK) 12. Navy (OK) 13. Air Force (OK) 14. DSS (OK) 15. EFCC (OK and generates revenue) All the above organizations suck funds from the government to "pay" officers and men. They need strengthening through training and retraining, equipping and digitizing (modernizing) so they can metamorphose into strong institutions. That should be our demand but what are we asking for, instead? Another organization without even a single clearcut role, namely: 16. Peace Corps (wants to join the roll call without a clear role, nothing to offer Nigeria other than "employment" for a handful, it is founded through arm-twisting, bribery and brazen disregard for due process). Moreover, it cannot solve even 0.1% of our unemployment challenge and it is not a repeatable model for any rightly thinking society! Throw this shit out the window! Any youth who went for this with the hope that he is seeking for job lacks self-esteem and focus and doesn't know what to do with himself to have allowed one Dickson Akor sell this crap to him! Kudos PMB! |
Isiri:Yes, no imam can be as fake as one insecure man I read of who prophesied that Allah asked him to marry his adopted son's sexy seductress wife. Guess what! That lurid prophesy came true! Allah is indeed wise, knowing... |

Bro, you really said enough to convince a snail to stop using its shell but you lost it to me the moment you mentioned the below quoted: Edaniels9:Good luck. |
Oma307:Church ke! You mean rebel enterprises?
|
NosoChic:Very epic reply! Thumbs up! They talk about marriage as if it is a walk in dream land. Silly people. They have forgotten the statistics of their so called "bad girls" who ended up as fish in wicked men's pot! How many "bad girls" are struggling with some STD's? How many "bad girls" wrecked their wombs? How many "bad girls" are living their life in shame and embarrassment in their matrimonial homes? How many "bad girls" are lying in unmarked graves around the world without any hope of marriage for them anymore? The OP is being used by the devil to belittle the marriage institution, he is just being opinionated. No fact in his foolish vomit. News Flash!!! Clean minded men are still busy seeking for good girls! |
AreaFada2:So you don't know there's Akwanga in Edo State!
|
karlboss:You must not admit publicly that money (better put, gain or profit) is part of your focus. At the early stage, those who place money above service are mostly frustrated out of biz. Wanna know why? The first days of ANY venture is usually painful and calls for so much steel nerves. Profit always comes after sacrifice. |
This my seed must grow! Thanks to hunger, want and scarcity created by the current government! Nigeria is very ripe for business but only the entrepreneurial mind perceives this.
|
freemanbubble:see, mind yasef o! |
freemanbubble:See, let me tell you, no find my trouble o! |
freemanbubble:See, let me tell you, no find my trouble o! |
I was just jejely marketing this your ride o! Na so my client's younger brother come spoil market for me, he told his brother in Yoruba to leave the car and go for something smaller to avoid attracting kidnappers. The wicked boy even offered to show his elder brother an Avensis later. They didn't know my associate understands Yoruba. That was how them dismiss us, with a fake promise to call me later. |
Oxster:Please, a kind word for someone humiliated at his last moment is preferable to a joke - that is if the story were true, though. |
ThatKING:Don't mind the baby boy. He has much to learn |
Mediapace:Hahaha! Correct answer!
|
plessis:What is this one saying? Where is he going with the topic? Na wa for una reasoning o!
|
Guestlander:You couldn't say "hut in Germany", you know why? Your mind agrees with Trump! |
