There is no English equivalent word for Salah it derive it's meaning based on context.... Praise, confer blessings, get close to, pray can be it's meaning based on context and pray doesn't fit the context maybe you should teach google... Infact the preposition on (عَلَى) itself shows it can't be pray... You inserted to in the verse instead of on ... |

Sixfiguresmart:Reading a particular book in American English or British English which is correct and which is wrong... It is the same Quran recited in different dialect.... When we talk about different versions of bibles this is what is meant now I want you to read the preface of R.S.V bible and clear your head so you will know what variance mean. Take a back seat and read this below Preface to the Revised Standard Version (2nd ed., 1971) The Revised Standard Version of the Bible is an authorized revision of the American Standard Version, published in 1901, which was a revision of the King James Version, published in 1611. The first English version of the Scriptures made by direct translation from the original Hebrew and Greek, and the first to be printed, was the work of William Tyndale. He met bitter opposition. He was accused of willfully perverting the meaning of the Scriptures, and his New Testaments were ordered to be burned as “untrue translations.” He was finally betrayed into the hands of his enemies, and in October 1536, was publicly executed and burned at the stake. Yet Tyndale’s work became the foundation of subsequent English versions, notably those of Coverdale, 1535; Thomas Matthew (probably a pseudonym for John Rogers), 1537; the Great Bible, 1539; the Geneva Bible, 1560; and the Bishops’ Bible, 1568. In 1582, a translation of the New Testament, made from the Latin Vulgate by Roman Catholic scholars, was published at Rheims. The translators who made the King James Version took into account all of these preceding versions; and comparison shows that it owes something to each of them. It kept felicitous phrases and apt expressions, from whatever source, which had stood the test of public usage. It owed most, especially in the New Testament, to Tyndale. The King James Version had to compete with the Geneva Bible in popular use; but in the end it prevailed, and for more than two and a half centuries no other authorized translation of the Bible into English was made. The King James Version became the “Authorized Version” of the English-speaking peoples. The King James Version has with good reason been termed “the noblest monument of English prose.” Its revisers in 1881 expressed admiration for “its simplicity, its dignity, its power, its happy turns of expression ... the music of it cadences, and the felicities of its rhythm.” It entered, as no other book has, into the making of the personal character and the public institutions of the English-speaking peoples. We owe to it an incalculable debt. Yet the King James Version has grave defects. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation. The task was undertaken, by authority of the Church of England, in 1870. The English Revised Version of the Bible was published in 1881-1885; and the American Standard Version, its variant embodying the preferences of the American scholars associated in the work, was published in 1901. Because of unhappy experience with unauthorized publications in the two decades between 1881 and 1901, which tampered with the text of the English Revised Version in the supposed interest of the American public, the American Standard Version was copyrighted, to protect the text from unauthorized changes. In 1928, this copyright was acquired by the International Council of ...... http://www.bible-researcher.com/rsvpreface.html |

Sixfiguresmart:Answer to what exactly I have other things I spend my time on must you be a Muslim I don't understand... To you is your religion and to us is ours no Muslim is complaining... The Byzantines will Rebound Despite being isolated by seemingly endless deserts, and largely unaffected by the power struggles of the world’s superpowers, the Qur’an boldly foretold the most unexpected events that would transpire between Persia and Byzantium in a few short years. “The Byzantines have been defeated. In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will triumph. Within three to nine years.” [ar-Rūm 30: 2-4] From 613-619 CE, the Byzantines were absolutely decimated by the Persian Empire, losing the territories of Antioch, then Damascus, then Armenia, then their most cherished Jerusalem, then Chalcedon, and finally Egypt. In his book, The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Edward Gibbon says, “At the time when this prediction is said to have been delivered, no prophecy could be more distant from its accomplishment, since the first twelve years of Heraclius announced the approaching dissolution of the empire.”2 Everyone saw Byzantium as on its deathbed; thus opponents of the Prophet ﷺ like Ubayy b. Khalaf mocked this “preposterous” foretelling in the Qur’an. However, not long after, Heraclius led the Byzantine Crusade like a dagger into the heart of the Persian Empire, fulfilling the amazing prophecy 6-8 years after it was uttered. The verses that immediately follow this prediction say, “The decision of the matter, before and after [these events], is only with Allah. And on that Day, the believers (i.e., Muslims) will rejoice in the victory of Allah.” [ar-Rūm 30: 4-5] Abu Ḥayyān al-Andalūsi (d. 1344) lists in al-Baḥr al-Muḥīṭ four reasons for this rejoicing, of them being that the miraculous prophecy unfolding would further validate their belief in his prophethood. Another reason, which involves another prophecy, is the Muslims would at that time find themselves celebrating their own victory: a long-awaited triumph against the Meccan oppressors in the Battle of Badr happened in 624 as well. It suddenly becomes quite clear why God seals Sūrat ar-Rūm by saying, “So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not unnerve you who are not certain [in faith].” [ar-Rūm 30: 60] |

Sixfiguresmart:Messiah Sixfiguresmart:The Globalization of Islam Amidst the fiercest persecution and abuse that the Muslims faced in the earliest Meccan period, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would stand without wavering and convey to his followers God’s promise of Islam spreading all over the world. Tamīm ad-Dāri (rA) reports that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “This matter will certainly reach every place touched by the night and day. Allah will not leave a house of mud or [even] fur except that Allah will cause this religion to enter it, by which the honorable will be honored and the disgraceful will be disgraced. Allah will honor the honorable with Islam and he will disgrace the disgraceful with unbelief.” 3 In another narration, reported by Thawbān (rA), “Indeed, Allah gathered up the earth for me so that I saw its east and its west; and indeed the dominion of my nation will reach what was gathered up for me from it.” The fact that these predictions were made at a time when Muslims were a powerless handful, and Islam was expected to be buried in its cradle, is nothing short of miraculous. At that point, presuming that the faith would even survive would be considered by most nothing short of a pipe-dream. But to predict that Islam would not just survive, but grow to thrive globally, was at that point inconceivable. For us nowadays, witnessing a quarter of this planet’s population as subscribers to Islam makes it clear that this was no presumption, but instead another prophecy inspired by the Divine. |

TenQ:Do you believe in destiny? Allah knows what one will become before being born .. destiny can be changed by evil forces so we all need to follow instructions/commandment from God to make sure our destiny changes for good. God has sent prophets and messages whosoever follows the prophets and message will be saved, following Gods commandment takes ones heart away from immoral activities even if it is ones Destiny. So destinies can change for good and whosoever repents and follow Gods commandment will make paradise.. |

Sixfiguresmart:The Hadith was report from the prophet written by men. Mind you the Hadith has chain of narrations that could be traced to the prophet himself while the bible had none (unknown authors) that doesn't mean the Hadith is 100% infallible only the Quran is infallible in Islam but we do accept sahih Hadith due to the fact that it has chain of narrations traced to the prophet. Do you now understand why the holy bible can't be trusted due to its conflicting report on death and resurrection of Jesus and others by unknown authors 1. Who went to the tomb? Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome (Mark 16:1) Mary Magdalene and another Mary (Matthew 28:1) Women who had accompanied Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem – possibly Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and “other women” (Luke 23:55) Mary Magdalene the first time, bringing Simon Peter and the “other” disciple with her the second time (John 20:1-3) 2. Had the stone already been rolled away or not? It had already been rolled away (Mark 16:4; Luke 24:2; John 20:1) It was rolled away by an angel after an earthquake upon the women’s arrival (John 28:2) 3. What did they see there? One young man in a “white robe” sitting on the stone bed (Mark 16:5) Two men in bright clothes appeared standing beside them (Luke 24:4) An angel sitting on top of the stone (Matthew 28:5) Mary saw no one the first time, but then after Simon Peter and the other disciple left, two angels appeared to her inside the temple, sitting on the stone bed (John 20:12) 4. What were they told? To tell the disciples to “go to Galilee,” where Jesus will meet them (Mark 16:7; Matthew 28:7) Remember what Jesus had told them “while he was in Galilee,” that he had to die and rise again (Luke 24:7) She was to tell the disciples that he has risen (John 20:17) 5. What do the women/Mary do next? *They fled and “said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid” (Mark 16:. The original gospel ends there! Our earliest and best manuscripts do not have the traditional ending – or a shorter ending found in other manuscripts. Tell the eleven disciples what happened (Matthew 28: Tell the eleven disciples and other people what happened (Luke 24: Mary tells disciples what she had seen and heard (John 20:18) 6. What were those told do in response? They were not told originally. In the extended ending they do not believe her (16:11) They Depart to Galilee (Matthew 28:16) They do not believe the women because it seems to be “an idle tale” (Luke 24:11) Nothing, since Jesus soon appears (John 20:19) 7. How does Jesus appear to the disciples? He doesn’t originally. In the extended ending he appears to two of them as they were walking “into the country.” They then told the remaining disciples but again they didn’t believe. Jesus then appeared to all 11 during a meal (Mark 16:12-14). On a mountain in Galilee (Matthew 28:17) In Jerusalem (Luke 24:33-36). He then took them out to Bethany where he blessed them and lifted up to heaven (Luke 24:50-51). He appears the same day that evening “where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews” (John 20:19) Question: why do you believe the bible despite so many contradictions despite claims of it being inspired by the holy spirit and unknown authors as we can't trace the book to Jesus |

I challenge both TENQ and sixfiguresmart to table their doctrine and belief about God and Christ then you will realize both of them are lost and are parallel lines that can never meet even though they both answer to the name christian and supports each other against Muslims. Instead of you christians to bring out a table and issue out your problems you are busy with Islam. One would have thought both TENQ and Sixfiguresmart believe in the same God since they both answer to the name christians. If christians can't even convince themselves on what Jesus message was yet trying to teach Muslims isn't this madness... The bible supports all doctrine there is no doctrine you are looking for in the bible that you won't find hence why Christianity will continue to be a lost group till Jesus come... |

TenQ:Does it change the fact the word Lord is not the same as God? The word lord and God was used in the same verse differently. ALLAH In the Quran says he is the Lord of the heavens and the Earth (Worlds). But in this verse the lord is plain with nothing attached to it.... TenQ:As Muslims we can't associate partner with Allah nor worship any other apart from Allah but we are told to obey Allah and his messengers? TenQ:No Muslims are not suppose to have another LORD OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH but Muslims are expected to follow the footsteps of the prophets sent to them. The messengers such as Jesus and Muhammad as Leaders and Teacher and the all taught the worship of one God. TenQ:Yes Allah is against the Jews for taking their Leaders as masters instead of Jesus which means they weren't following the message of Jesus of which he commanded them to worship one God rather they follow the doctrines of men (trinity)... TenQ:The verse is plain worship one God and GOD was distinguished from Christ in that same verse. They have taken their rabbis and monks as lords besides God and Christ son of Mary, and they were not commanded but to worship one God. There is no god but He... Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: "Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers." (QS. Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 32) TenQ:Does saying believe in Allah and his messenger connotes comparison that's because you have to obey Allah and his messengers does not mean the messenger is God. TenQ:Does saying Obey Allah and his messenger connotes partnership rather Allah warns and teach mankind through his prophets... TenQ:infact this verse below makes everything clearer and the States the view of Quran and Allah concerning Jesus Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: "O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." (QS. An-Nisaa 4: Verse 171) |

Sixfiguresmart:So where did majority of christians got their doctrine from who started it that the Son is God also Holy spirit is God then you will understand this verse clearly if you use reason. Do you mean the Son is a False God? They have taken their rabbis and monks as lords besides God and Christ son of Mary, and they were not commanded but to worship one God. There is no god but He... The verse is telling you christians that your faith is based on doctrines of men and not what Jesus taught.... Question: 1. When did the doctrine that the Son was God started and who started it? 2. What happened at the council of Nicea? 3. The Catholics whom selected the books of the bible where did they get their doctrine that Holy Mary is the mother of God? 4. TenQ:Does the word Lord necessarily means God? One's master/teacher can also be called Lord Jesus was a teacher to the children of isreal and he taught then to worship one God (his God)... From that verse there is only one God which you are told to worship.... They have taken their rabbis and monks as lords besides God and Christ son of Mary, and they were not commanded but to worship one God. There is no god but He. Glory be to You. Muslims are to believe in ALLAH and his messenger (sent to teach mankind the way of the lord). Saying Christians today have taken their pastors as lords beside Jesus does not mean they worship their pastors but that they are following teachings and doctrines of men rather than Jesus. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: "O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. Sixfiguresmart:. have taken their rabbis and monks as lords besides God and Christ son of Mary, and they were not commanded but to worship one God. There is no god but He. Glory be to You. John 17 vs 3 And this is this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. This is the translation above can you remind me what your issue is again cos I can only see one God in this verse.... Question for sixfiguresmart Is lord the same as God? In the bible Yahwe is represented as The Lord and Jesus is called Lord, Kings are called lord's, A judge in court is called Lord, lord could mean teacher/master.
