The man can beat his daughter for this foolish acts but not not call in other people to come and see her unclad or allow them video her. It is a stupid and rash decision which he will regret later. who will marry this girl after this?

This girl in future may either kill her self or kill her father, it then becomes, she had sex in her father's house and so what?

In all of these, where is that man or boy who came to somebody's father house to have sex? No punishment?

EventsLocal Tourism, It Is Left To Nigerians To Boost First by hafees(op):
Well, i walk in the travel industry, and i know a lot of our clientele want to travel abroad to have wonderful time. Most of the time, i know they could have semblance of some of those things here in Nigeria, but because we do not hype our own tourism, they want to go abroad. Some don't even know what is available here. Imagine in some countries, you pay up to 100 usd for city tour, basically just talking about land marks, Nigerians would never tell their Oyinbo friends visiting to do city tours and in fact advise them to visit some land marks, they are always confirming their fears of its not safe to walk around. In Lagos? Who really send Oyinbo in Lagos abeg. You are denying your country income from your Oyinbo friends and making sure young Nigerians do not have jobs. Just go to Gambia, you will understand what i am talking about.

There are quite a lot of things to do in Lagos- (Lunch / dinner cruise, Isale eko shopping tours for non locals, this i have done severally and do the Oyinbos enjoy haggling price!Badagry tours, business district tours of marina and broad street is wowing. For weekend with friends- boys hang out or ladies night- to have loads of fun is a Nigerian culture, and Lagos grantees that? How about limo night crawling- 10 clubs in 2 days, don't worry about getting tipsy, we in charge of you. You get delivered to your hotel room every night. Lots of hotel to sleep in Lagos you know, you can travel to Lagos from any where in Nigeria enjoy your weekend and fly back- people do this a lot in other countries or choose a city you have never been and enjoy massive two night break! Have you heard a fellow African talk about Lagos enjoyment, its like a bug's bite.

Now do you think the Shrine is safe, it is mighty safe guys , nice AFROBEAT music, best atmosphere with energy and let me tell you this: ERASE THE INDIAN HEMP SMOKING IMAGE IN YOUR MIND. No one will come forward to grab your bag or ask you hands up and collect your cash- the shrine is as safe as SAFE. There are loads of corporate guys who come around to hangout , its a nice net working environment especially the VIP section, just drop your jacket and ties in the back seat of your car. Watch live electric Afro beat music, enjoy your drink and meals, dance like it would be banned and get delivered to your hotel for night cap or if you still want to dance, lets go to the club for more adventure! YOU HAVE WORKED HARD FOR YOUR MONEY.

It is the perfect weekend getaway for you and your friends. So dear Nigerians let me introduce you to a package we have put together for you to enjoy your weekend in the most unique way. So do not waste your weekend or Easter!

Enjoy it cool grin

Nigerians jumping into conclusion without verification! Ladipo market has not been destroyed!!!!!!!!!

The Nigerians that i know however, give them even 24 hours, they will always wait till the bulldozers come.

Nigerians respect constitutional authority and stop crying when this kind of things happen. Don't sell tomatoes on the road, dem no go hear when officials come and scatter they cry foul. Put that tomato in front of your house instead and sell, no na market or road de sell past.

We need to change our attitudes, don't build your house on sewage route, or places allocated for road, when government cme and bull doze they are wicked.

Do the right things and watch if you will not have the right to take them to court

Christianity EtcMuslim Anti-isis March Not Covered By Mainstream Media Outlets, Say Organisers by hafees(op): 4:12pm On Dec 15, 2015
Organisers of an anti-Isis march in London have spoken of their frustration after mainstream media outlets failed to cover the demonstration.

Thousands of people took part in the annual UK Arbaeen Procession, coordinated by the Husaini Islamic Trust UK, on Sunday.

Although Shia Muslims take part in the march each year to mark the Arbaeen, or mourning, anniversary of Imam Husain - a seventh-century leader who fought for social justice - this year organisers decided to use the event as a platform to denounce terrorism following the recent Isis attacks in Paris, Beirut and elsewhere.

Organiser Waqar Haider said: "This year we had hundreds of placards which were basically saying ‘no’ to terrorism and ‘no’ to Isis. A very direct message.

"For us it was a controversial move to go political. Normally we don’t mix politics with mourning. However with what's happened recently, we thought we had to make sure we as a community totally disassociate ourselves with what's happening elsewhere in the world."

Despite this, Mr Haider said the demonstration still failed to garner attention in the mainstream media because of "stereotyping".

"It is the oldest annual Muslim event in London but unfortunately it is very difficult to get any media coverage," he said.

"I think it's because of stereotyping. People see the entire Muslim community as one community.

"[But] the Muslim community is a very diverse community, with the vast majority of us horrified by Isis.

"With our event, we had so many people from different ethnic backgrounds. It's more of a family event in terms of people it attracts."

Volunteer Mohammed Al-Sharifi also commented on the lack of media coverage for the event.

In a tweet, he said: “Hundreds of Muslims flooded the streets of London yesterday to condemn terrorism. Media’s response: Silence.”

His post has been re-tweeted more than 5,000 times.

FamilyAfro-chinese Marriages Boom In Guangzhou: But Will It Be 'til Death Do Us Part'? by hafees(op): 12:18pm On Dec 15, 2015
man Okonkwo's foot-tapping at the altar is not a sign of nerves. The groom's palms aren't sweaty, there are no pre-wedding jitters and certainly no second thoughts. Today he is realising a dream imagined by countless African merchants in Guangzhou: he is marrying a Chinese bride.

Seven days earlier, Jennifer Tsang's family was oblivious to their daughter's romance. Like many local women dating African men, the curvaceous trader from Foshan, who is in her late 20s - that dreaded "leftover woman" age - had feared her parents would be racially prejudiced.

Today, though - having tentatively given their blessing - they snuck into the underground Royal Victory Church, in Guangzhou, looking over their shoulders for police as they entered the downtown tower block. Non-state-sanctioned religious events like this are illegal on the mainland.

Okonkwo, 42, doesn't have a single relative at the rambunctious Pentecostal ceremony, but is nevertheless delighted.

"Today is so special," beams the Nigerian, "because I have married a Chinese girl. And that makes me half-African, half-Chinese."

In Guangzhou, weddings like this take place every day. There are no official figures on Afro-Chinese marriages but visit any trading warehouse in the city and you will see scores of mixed-race couples running wholesale shops, their coffee-coloured, hair-braided children racing through the corridors.

Nairaland GeneralLagos 767- Six Days Mentally Ill Girl Emergency Response Wait List by hafees(op): 12:39am On Dec 13, 2015
Maybe it would be unfair to out rightly write off the Lagos State Emergency Service, the 767 hotline, just because of a seven days unattended to emergency call. There is a huge possibility that what I considered to be an emergency does not resonate in the lexicon of the agency as one, or it could be that I am getting carried away with the fact that Lagos seems to working, and expecting too much. Either way, I have a seven days emergency that i am still waiting for the agency to help me with!

Perhaps, it in only in Nigeria that mentally ill people trekking from Lagos to Abuja, or from Port Harcourt to Kafachan are acceptable to be part of our landscape. No one is worried; we all walk by, we look at them, shake our heads in wonder or disdain, or at best pity them and then drive way. There is an innate part of us that possibly accept that the mentally ill people deserve their situation. We all have this perception that they are actually people with serious drug addiction that have gone bad, wicked people getting karma or even appellation of witches! From the most educated of us to the most unlettered this is our believe!

This maybe the reason why my call to 767 was not considered as an emergency.
On my way to work last week Monday, I saw this fine looking young girl, between 16 to 18 years with mental illness walking around GRA Ikeja. It was obvious to me, it was a new occurrence. Somehow she still has this new hairdo, the white shirt was just turning brownish, and the clothing is still intact, except for the underskirt or trouser missing. It saddened my heart to see a young girl with her whole life still in front of her, seemingly ending it this way because of a system that do not have any response for her kind of situation. So I called 767, while I understand that it does not have the 911 effect, and that a lot of Lagosians do not readily remember or even know of the existence (I blame the citizens here), it’s the only solution I have. I couldn’t have taken her home, or bundled her into a vehicle and head towards ‘Yaba left’

The lady who attended to me on the 767 was very professional- warm, encouraging and very detailed. I was happy that I have reported, and with high hopes that quickly something will be done about it. She took down my number and alternate number with two promises: they will send ‘their people’ to the location I saw the girl, and give me feedback on their activities. I went to sleep.

A lot of Nigerians are quick to castigate and rubbish government agencies, and actually have no patience for their bureaucracy because there is always no result. This came to the fore again for me. Three days later, I called the 767, since there was no feedback and surprisingly I had to go through same questioning again. The new lady who spoke to me gave no insight as to whether they have such record, she promised they would do something. I told her of my similar plea few days back which generated no response. She assured me they will send their team to the location- it was the same line. This time even though I have doubt, I decided to give them ‘the benefit of doubt’

Two days later, my conscience continued to prick me that I have not done enough for that young women, I decided I was going to call them (767) later in the evening, but do my own verification first. So after close of business, I walked around GRA, trying to think through some assignment from work, and also use that opportunity to look out for the young girl. I found her, three streets from where I saw her the last time- she was looking worse. Part of the hair was loose, part of her body sandy and dusty, and generally more dishevelled. You can’t rule out the possibility of some hoodlum having taken advantage of this young girl!

Even though I knew it was wrong, I tried to engage her, I asked for her name and where she was heading- she simply looked far beyond me and continued with her mumble of self-dialogue. For the last six days, what has been playing on my mind is simple: how could Nigeria and Nigerians allow a 16-18 year old girl go maximally insane and not do anything to help. I am not self-righteous, but I know a lot of people must have driven past her and not give a second thought. There is probably no one who sees it as a duty to help the government help the young girl. No sense of social justice, or duty. We lack that part that should push us to pick our phone and help her call for help. We are simply a society of ‘ No be my family’ even though we all claim to be good Christians and Muslims.

I thought of alternative ways to help the girl till morning- NGOs, go to the ministry myself, or go to the Psychiatric hospital at Yaba. I called 767 once, this time angry and almost incoherent. The last two staff at the other are not as professional as the first voice encounter. So much noise at the background, and they can’t just seem to hear well. I could also sense some impatience in their voices. The young man who spoke to me also promised they would do something after the same frustrating line of questioning- the truth is I have no faith in them again. I see clearly the young lady is not a priority, and I am just deluded that her case is urgent. I don’t know how to help the young lady frankly- I am just going to take any of the option above or all of them.

I write this epistle to bring the attention of the Lagos State Government and the relevant agency to the plight of this young girl. We all have daughters, sisters and other relations with the feminity tags, we would never pray for them to become mentally ill. I also use this write to remind Nigerians that authorities cannot help unless you do your part as a citizen.

Please everyone, drum it into the ear of the government and please do call 767 for the sake of this young lady inside GRA around Sobo Arobiodu, may when they have avalanche of calls regarding the young lady they will do something.

Foreign AffairsRe: See What Americans Are Saying On Muslim Ban In The US - Cramjones by hafees: 6:36pm On Dec 08, 2015
But it is also important to remember that there are 1.6 billion Muslims on the planet. If you took the total number of deaths from terrorism last year — about 30,000 — and assumed that 50 people were involved in planning each one (a vastly exaggerated estimate), it would still add up to less than 0.1 percent of the world's Muslims.

THE GENERALIZATION IS TOO MUCH.

My own advise is that management have a budget, but most times people finally agree below the budget, it makes HR look good. However there are some positions you don't play with e.g IT, or the guy spend one month and resume else where following month

I AM JUST SORRY FOR ALL THESE CHILDREN SHOUTING BIAFRA. THE STORIES I HEARD FROM MY GRAND FATHER IS NOT PALATABLE AT ALL.

South-South is not going with you, so you are on your own, probably will be reliant on coal. You will need visa to come to Nigeria to trade, IGBO people can not be selling to one another. You will pay heavy money at the ports either in Southwest or South South.

I expect by now leaders like Orji Uzo Kalu, to come up with a statement, everyone is keeping quiet now!

Whats the noise all about? You need to see how dirty and rugged Aba is when i was there recently, is it FG problem too. None of your governor is known to be high a performer, so the problem of your under development is not Nigeria , it is your leadership. Lagos State did not get a dime from FG for many years, they survived!

I was in the east one December and cost of everything went haywire like triple, is that how you will deal with yourselves!

You continue to shout Nigeria is a zoo, are you not part of the problem- you think when you have Biafra, you will suddenly become saints, and high performers and your leaders will start thinking about you

All your leaders are not interested in the struggle now, they are waiting for leadership positions when the poor, uneducated ones making noise on the street perhaps get BIAFRA. They keep quiet because they don't want to lose out in Nigeria.

IF IGBO PEOPLE WANT TO GO, THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED. PLEASE SET UP A DELEGATE TO MEET FG. PLEASE THINK THROUGH ON HOW TO GET BIAFRA BESIDE PROTEST AND DEATHS! IN THE NAME OF KEEPING LAW AND ORDER, ARMY OR POLICE WILL SHOOT, SOME OF THEM WILL EVEN BE IGBO PEOPLE.

THOUGH GETTING BIAFRA DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANYTHING
