Before getting married people should ask themselves if they are ready to make sacrifices, because essentially that what marriage is. Instead of chasing after Slim and volumptous breatedyoung women you are saddled with the same woman who is getting fat, and who only tolerates you to do it. MONOTONY Instaed of a woman hanging out with her girls she is is either in the kitchen cooking or washing diapers, and the guy has to pay for every ones whims before thinking about himself. Either partner must come home early, check with the other person before doing anything, etc. And when the children comes it might be when you guys are hot for each other that junior will start crying and fouls up the thingy.

There are ofcourse lots of joy in marriages, a good marriage that is-someone to talk to, share with, laugh with, face challenges with, romp with and lots more. its a matter of accepting responsibilities and to keep working at it. Dont hide anything from your partner, you can tell her what she looks best in, she can do same, cook together, settle your misunderstanding quickly, and try to do things to just make the other person happy. Spike up monotonous things like sex, prepare for it, read together about it, watch films together listen to music, dont try to choke, take stroll and talk as you walk, hold each other and show each other love.This is my own recipe

firstly, let me tell you that nine out of ten writers have had their stories stolen by thieving producers and directors. i am one of the lucky few who got it right at the initial stage. My first movie scripts was bought from me, you need to research before jumping from offices to offices/producers to producers. u can find out the thieves, because their stories/thieving scandals go round, and dont ever be desperate for them to see/use ur stories,it will cheapen you and ur stories, its ur sweat so act like it.

You can also copyright ur movie ideas/scripts, but no one has monopoly of ideas, so u cant accuse someone using something similar that u have thought about. but you can scare thieving producers, it will show them you know what u are doing. cheaply too, on ur movie scripts have a lawyers/law chamber stamp on it

again note that these guys see lots of hungry writers on daily bases so you need to distinguish urself, if the deal is not right walk away but dont be afraid to have meetings with them, snub them if they become silly.

better still, try ur hands on writing sitcoms, look for sitcom producers, its easier to get into it, once they are satisfied u can write, this can help build ur cv as a writer.

finally i concur with seun, have a demo scripts though its not useful when trying to sell movie stories. the truth is, many of these producers write the scripts no matter how silly it is for their production even though they are not professionals, just people with opportunitie. as per thieving ur stuff, forget it, work hard on more and pray. if u need help holla me.

you asked me what i enjoyed from my polygamy family: lots of fun. we are actually a dozen if u must know, like every family we go out weekends with either all our mothers or one or two of them. our mothers if u must know are professionals. my mum is a nurse, my steppie the first wife (senior mummy/mummy agba) works in the govt house and the third wife a pharmacist, we called her iyawo until later when we coined another name for her suzzy/mummy amina. it was fun we all go to amusement parks, other places, our meal time is party like, we joke a lot/laugh, help ourselves and there was no competition, we are one. i collect money from any of my mothers and we protect ourselves especilally our sister. actually we are 6 boys, 6 girls and we usually tell our dad that he's non biased etc. we have our troubles too like all family's but we never had competitions like the ones cain and abel or esau and jacob had coming from same mothers. m

my sister uptil now when i go to visit my brothers either in nigeria or abroad we still laughabout our childhood so magical. i am going to post our family pix soon.

my dear am a married man, and i can explain what ur hubby is going through. when you have kids it is natural to dote more on them because the assumption is they need the care more and the woman can take care of herself, but as they grow, you will have ur husband back. again regarding the sex thing,you are definately not the same woman, most women can no longer do what they did as girls, mothers should not suck privates etc for example, so the man is not coming back home to the same hot girl he was all over some years back. i dont blame you, the presure of children is not easy.

Generally, try to look for things to do together and alone. my wife is forcing me to take stroll sundays and we talk as we walk, hold hands, and i can tell you it works wonders. get out of the house with him, when you are back and alone, you will see the result. Members of Archbishop Earl Paulk's family stood at the pulpit of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at Chapel Hill Harvester Church a few Sundays ago and revealed the secret exposed by a recent court-ordered paternity test.

In truth, this is not the first — or even the second — sex scandal to engulf Paulk and the independent, charismatic church. But this time, he could be in trouble with the law for lying under oath about the affair.

The living proof of that lie is 34-year-old D.E. Paulk, who for years was known publicly as Earl Paulk's nephew.

"I am so very sorry for the collateral damage it's caused our family and the families hurt by the removing of the veil that hid our humanity and our sinfulness," said D.E. Paulk, who received the mantle of head pastor a year and a half ago.

D.E. Paulk said he did not learn the secret of his parentage until the paternity test. "I was disappointed, and I was surprised," he said.

Earl Paulk, his brother, Don, and his sister-in-law, Clariece, did not return calls for comment.

A judge ordered the test at the request of the Cobb County district attorney's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which are investigating Earl Paulk for possible perjury and false-swearing charges stemming from a lawsuit.

The archbishop, his brother and the church are being sued by former church employee Mona Brewer, who says Earl Paulk manipulated her into an affair from 1989 to 2003 by telling her it was her only path to salvation. Earl Paulk admitted to the affair in front of the church last January.

In a 2006 deposition stemming from the lawsuit, the archbishop said under oath that the only woman he had ever had sex with outside of his marriage was Brewer. But the paternity test said otherwise.

So far no charges have been filed against Earl Paulk. District Attorney Pat Head and GBI spokesman John Bankhead would not comment.

The shocking results of the paternity test are speeding up a transformation already underway in the church after more than a decade of sex scandals and lawsuits involving the Paulks, D.E. Paulk said.

"It was a necessary evil to bring us back to a God-consciousness," said the younger Paulk, explaining that the church had become too personality-driven and prone to pastor worship.

The flashy megachurch began in 1960 with just a few dozen members in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta. Now, it is in the suburbs on a 100-acre expanse, a collection of buildings surrounding a neo-Gothic cathedral.

For years the church was at the forefront of many social movements — admitting black members in the 1960s, ordaining women and opening its doors to gays.

At its peak in the early 1990s, it claimed about 10,000 members and 24 pastors and was a media powerhouse. By soliciting tithes of 10% from each member's income, the church was able to build a Bible college, two schools, a worldwide TV ministry and a $12 million sanctuary the size of a fortress.

Today, though, membership is down to about 1,500, the church has 18 pastors, most of them volunteers, and the Bible college and TV ministry have shuttered — a downturn blamed largely on complaints about the alleged sexual transgressions of the elder Paulks.

In 1992, a church member claimed she was pressured into a sexual relationship with Don Paulk. Other women also claimed they had been coerced into sex with Earl Paulk and other members of the church's administration.

The church countered with a $24 million libel suit against seven former church members. The lawsuit was later dropped.

Jan Royston, who left the church in 1992, started an online support group for former members to discuss their crushed faith and hurt feelings.

"This is a cult. And you escape from a cult," she said. "We all escaped."

These days, Earl Paulk has a much-reduced role at the cathedral, giving 10-minute lectures as part of Sunday morning worship each week.

"My uncle is 100% guilty, but his accusers are guilty as well," D.E. Paulk said, declining to talk further about the lawsuits.

LONDON (Reuters) - A British teacher jailed in Sudan for letting her pupils name a teddy bear Mohammad arrived in London on Tuesday after being pardoned and said she had been well treated in prison and was sorry to leave the country.

A smiling Gillian Gibbons was met by her son John and daughter Jessica at Heathrow airport after her flight touched down at around 0705 GMT.

"[b]It has been an ordeal, but I would like you to know that I was well treated in prison and everybody was very kind to me," Gibbons told reporters. "I was very sorry to leave Sudan. I had a fabulous time there."[/b]Gibbons, sentenced last week to 15 days in jail for insulting Islam, flew home from Khartoum with two prominent British Muslim legislators who had appealed to the Sudanese president for her early release.

Gibbons, 54, let her pupils at Khartoum's private Unity High School pick their favorite name for a teddy bear as part of a project in September.

Twenty out of 23 of them chose Mohammad -- a popular boy's name in Sudan, as well as the name of Islam's Prophet -- but a member of staff complained to the authorities.

Gibbons apologized for any distress she might have caused the people of Sudan. She has said she encountered "nothing but kindness and generosity from the Sudanese people."

Prime Minister Gordon Brown, whose country has had strained relations with Sudan for several years, mainly because of the conflict in Darfur, said he was "delighted and relieved" to hear Gibbons had been pardoned and freed.

Two British peers, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and Lord Ahmed, went to Sudan at the weekend in a private initiative to try to secure Gibbons' early release.

Her pardon and release was announced while they were meeting President Omar Hassan al-Bashir on Monday and they left Khartoum later in the day.

Many Sudanese said they thought Gibbons' action was an innocent mistake which could be forgiven after an apology.

Sudan's influential Council of Muslim Scholars urged the government on Sunday not to pardon Gibbons, saying it would damage Khartoum's reputation among Muslims around the world.

Gibbons thanked all those who had helped secure her release and said she was glad to be back in Britain and eager to spend some quiet time with her family.

"I'm a little shocked at all the media attention I have been getting and I am looking forward to seeing my family and friends and having a good rest," she told reporters at the airport. "I am hoping that you will give me space in order to do that."

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Christian groups are up in arms here over a new children's film starring Nicole Kidman and based on an award-winning novel by British author Philip Pullman, accusing it of being anti-religious.

"The Golden Compass" which opens here Friday is the film version of "The Northern Lights," the first book in Pullman's "Dark Materials" fantasy trilogy aimed at teenage readers.

The books by confirmed agnostic Pullman trace the fate of a young girl, Lyra, as she becomes drawn into an apocalyptic battle of good against evil, meeting a host of strange characters along the way including a polar bear, voiced in the film by Ian McKellan.

Evil in Pullman's books is represented by the church, called the Magisterium, whose acolytes kidnap orphans across England to subject them to horrible experiments in the frozen northern wastelands.

"The Northern Lights" won Pullman the 1995 Carnegie Medal for children's fiction in Britain, and the final volume in his trilogy, "The Amber Spyglass" was the first ever children's novel to be awarded the prestigious British Whitbread Book of the Year award in 2002.

With its 180-million-dollar big budget movie, New Line studios is hoping to repeat the box-office success of its "Lord of the Rings" series.

And it aims to tap into the young audiences of cinema-goers who flocked to the five "Harry Potter" films making them big earners for Warner Bros.

But already "The Golden Compass" is whipping up the same controversy which saw the "Harry Potter" series based on the novels by British author J. K Rowling, accused by some on the religious right of promoting witchcraft.

The author's attack on organized religion has been toned down for the film, in a bid to attract as wide as audience as possible, something director Chris Weitz has acknowledged.

"In the books the Magisterium is a version of the Catholic Church gone wildly astray from its roots," Weitz wrote in the British Daily Telegraph.

But "if that's what you want in the film, you'll be disappointed," he warned.

However, the sanitized version of Pullman's book has failed to appease the Catholic League, which gathers some 350,000 members, and which has already been sending out leaflets denouncing the film.

"The Catholic League wants Christians to stay away from this movie precisely because it knows that the film is bait for the books," said president William Donohue.

"Unsuspecting parents who take their children to see the movie may be impelled to buy the three books as a Christmas present. And no parent who wants to bring their children up in the faith will want any part of these books," he added.

The League already took on the movie world in 2006 to denounce the blockbuster "The Da Vinci Code" and its central tenant that Jesus Christ had a child by Mary Magdalene whose descendants still survive today.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops however has been more nuanced in its approach warning in a review of "The Golden Compass" of its "anti-clerical subtext, standard genre occult elements, character born out of wedlock, a whiskey-guzzling bear."

But it adds that "taken purely on its own cinematic terms, (it) can be viewed as an exciting adventure story with a traditional struggle between good and evil, and a generalized rejection of authoritarianism."

"The Golden Compass" will be released in some 3,000 cinemas and only 60 have so far refused to screen it, according to the industry daily Variety.

"It's this undisguised anti-religious theme that has numerous groups in a lather, but perhaps more of an issue for some , will be the film's lack of exciting uplift and the almost unrelievedly nasty treatment of the young characters by a host of aggressively unpleasant elders," Variety added.

my dear nobody has the monopoly of insults, but i refuse to partake in their gutter languages and devilish hatred. I dont need to show you anything, focus or whatever ,is it because am a Muslim, i have the same right as everybody. My religion preaches peace and if there are some nonconformist, then we are suppose to hang all Muslims. Many of the events are ethnic and poltically motivated, hidden under religion.
