nice question!!! d first one died of internal bleeding in 2009 after a car hit him where task force men on d high way pulled him over. also he died at age 39 no wife no child, he was d only graduate among 5 children his mother had, he had a very promising future.

The Bible is never an evidence that God exists.

The Bible only used God to create stories.

The fact that the stories are fictional doesn't mean the concept of God is not true.

Saying that God is inexistent because the Bible is fictional is like saying Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't exist because he featured in a fictional movie.

If you are an atheist because the Bible is fictional then that is the wrong way to be an atheist.

Seriously!! How does it work? This people don't even understand the working of an economy. If illiterates believe in this such, its still pardonabel but for 'supposedly' educated people believing in this rubbish just shows we have many who went to school but are more or less uneducated- No wonder Nigeria is such a shitty country with many of its population head filled with jargons and rubbish; devoting their time to mostly unproductive activities like blood money.

*SCENARIO 1*

He was sleeping, and deep throaty moans infiltrated into his ears, thence finding its way into his brain, exciting his nucleus acumbens-- the pleasure centre of the brain.

It must be a dream, he thought. But two things made him think better of it. Firstly, something kept hitting his buttocks, a leg or something, and the bed was quaking violently. Secondly, the hard-on threatening to tear his boxers was sure as real as day and night.

Then he opened his eyes and turned to see his wife in some frenzy of ethereal proportion with guttural sounds coming form her mouth.

She was gyrating and thrusting her hips forwards rhythmically, like someone was on top of her ministering to her nether regions. Her eyes were rolled back into her head, while the hands were clutching on the bed sheet.

Totally unaware of him staring at her mouth agape with his jaws on the floor, she raised her nightie and her hands disappeared beneath them, away from his field of vision. A few thrusts and she squirmed and went limp. She was snoring before she even hit the bed.

All the while it felt as if there was a presence there with them in the room. He could feel ominous chills in his bone. . In the morning when she woke up, she had no memory of any of it. Absolutely none! She was more confused than he was, and genuinely so, and he had every reason to believe her.

He was never a believer of all that "spiritual husband" BS. But this, this he can't explain. . .

*SCENARIO 2*

Her younger sister had come crying the other day that her husband had come into her room in the dead of the night and molested her.

She didn't know what had come over Uncle, she had said-- couldn't explain it; as he seemed so not himself, as if he was in a trance, possessed by some demon. His eyes were glassy, staring vacantly into hers while he forcefully pinned her down and penetrated her.

It was heartbreaking for her to know that not only did her husband cheat on her, but he did so with her 18 year old younger sister, and without her consent. Ergo, he raped her!

That night, when her husband got out of bed unannounced, she quietly followed him. She figured it would be better to catch him in the act, so that his cheating ass won't deny it.

He was headed towards her sister's room quite alright, and she had her phone camera on. Halfway, she collided with something and the clanging sound was so loud it could have woken up a drunken giant.

Busted, she thought. But to her greatest surprise, her husband took no notice. Even though he was just few feet away! Apparently he was more interested in the sexscapade awaiting him in her sister's room.

Few seconds later, he entered the girl's room and violently tore off her nightie. Neither the girl's pleas nor the wife's shouts and attempts to pull him away from her, could stop him. It was as if he was possessed: eyes staring vacantly into space, chest heaving.

One would have thought that the presence of the wife would have shamed him into silence, awakening a deep sense of guilt and remorse. But it didn't. It was as if he wasn't even aware of her presence. And suddenly the wife realized her husband wasn't himself, and sat quietly at a corner sobbing while she watched the man she loved grunting on top of her younger sister.

When he had had his way [don't ask me why the wife didn't break his head in the process], he walked as if in a trance back to his room. In no time, he was snoring again. .

The following morning, he had no memory of any of it. And when they showed him the video, he was so shocked and ashamed of himself, he wept uncontrollably. . .

*DISCUSSION*

The religious, and the superstitious, would be quick to attribute the incidents described in the above two scenarios to a spiritual influence. While the first scenario may be labelled the act of a spiritual spouse [whatever that means], the last scenario would most likely be labelled demonic possession, or rape by the educated and non superstitious.

However, fact is that in both cases the "unfortunate victims" are suffering from a sleep disorder called SEXSOMNIA, and are absolutely NOT RESPONSIBLE for their actions; legally, morally and otherwise.

Sexsomnia is a type of PARASOMNIA, just like sleepwalking, confusional arousal, night terrors, etc.

Parasomnias are undesirable physical events [such as abnormal movements and behaviors] or experiences [like emotions, perceptions and dreams] that occur in various stages of sleep.

The behaviours may appear well thought out, purposeful and carefully planned, following a coordinated pattern as may be seen in somnambulism [sleepwalking]; on the other hand it may manifest as a group of disjointed purposeless movements and behaviours.

Whichever is the case, the sufferers usually are unaware of themselves and their environment during the process; are not easily roused [as they are actually in DEEP SLEEP]; and would not have any memory of the incident afterwards. They are more like AUTOMATIONS controlled by parts of the brain that function remote from consciousness.

In SEXSOMNIAS, parasomnia manifests as indulgence in sexual activities during sleep. It may be in the form of hip thrusting, moaning as if having an orgasm, masturbation, and in extreme cases it may manifest as sexual assault and rape proper.

Whichever is the case, it is important to note that the sufferer is not responsible for his/her actions. It isn't premeditated, and how it manifests doesn't necessarily depend on the person's real life fantasies and mental preoccupation prior to sleep.

Once proven beyond ALL REASONABLE DOUBTS by the relevant specialists [for example a certain brain wave on EEG and Polysomnographs during both Non Rapid Eye Moment (NREM) and REM sleep is indicative of various types of parasomnias; and also there exists diagnostic criteria used by Psychologists and Sleep specialists] , the sufferer would be absolved of all charges, and would instead be sent for treatment.

And it is *NOT SPIRITUAL*, people! If it were, it wouldn't be treatable with drugs.

And oh, by "drugs" I didn't mean "otumokpo", I meant pharmaceutical drugs like the Benzodiazepines [eg Clonazepam].

Now you know. . .

This does not in any way suggest that any man,or woman, caught in the dead of the night attempting to molest someone sexually, who subsequently pretends, or rather APPEARS unawares of his/her environment is genuinely a sexsomniac.

Every case of molestation, no matter how flimsy, MUST be thoroughly investigated without kid gloves. For starters, you can give the person a RESOUNDING, "DIRTY" slap and see what happens. You can apologize later. [You didn't hear this from me though ].

And please do well to hand over the person to the law, his attorney is welcomed to argue and prove "sexsomnia."
