I've been really sad lately because of how my life is going and I'll be 20 soon with nothing to show for it.
As a kid growing up, I was used to live the soft life until my family came back to Nigeria and things have been tough since then.
My major breakthrough was in 2021 when I made so much money from just holding digital currencies for 1 year and half. I tried venturing into the real world to invest and that's when I started crumbling. One of the best thing I remember doing with that money was seeing myself through school till I finished with very little support from family.
I've been the one holding my family financially as the first child ever since we lost my dad to an accident that same 2021.
Last year 2022 wasn't bad as I was just staying afloat with some kind hustle also trying to learn different digital skills, almost all my friends ventured into Yahoo so I distanced from them and they're big boys now, sometimes I wish I would have joined them.
This year is worst, I graduated this same year and I've been at home since then, doing literally nothing.
I have skills, I'm a technical writer, I'm a front-end developer planning to improve to full stack, I speak 2 international languages and have been able to get transcription gigs which I didn't even get paid well so I stopped, I've been trying and trying to get gigs since this year all to no avail. I've even lost count to what I've done to be honest.
I have never worked for somebody, not because I can't, in fact I use to work for my uncle as a data entry operator but it was fully remote and that was 2020 before he shut down operations. I'm a chronic introvert with anxiety but very hardworking I swear.
(Omorrr) the last 3 months when I saw things getting worse I decided to go out and look for jobs, the only one I saw available was teaching, lol and the pay they said is 25k. I couldn't even do cos by the time I calculated TP alone it was like 60%. I just continued staying home for real, at least I make well over 50k staying home pressing phone.
I just needed something that will be enough to take care of I and my family. The year is coming to an end and I don't even have any savings for the first time in 3 years, house rent is on the way. I don't have any addiction and I'm very economical with money too, Sometimes I feel suicidal because the pressure is getting too much.
I really want to plan my life all over again but I just feel like giving up.
I could go on and on with what's happening to me but it'll be very long.
I don't need sympathy from anyone, I just needed a platform to say it all out because who do I even want to tell this all to?
I'll appreciate some words of encouragement and some suggestions on what I could to help myself at this stage. I may be deactivating this account, been more comfortable as a guest.

I saw wonders today. I had a good day at work and I cashed out well So I decided to visit my girl after work, offered her some money and she said NO. Not that it was small cos she didn't even know how much I was giving her. She just said no that she has nothing serious to do with cash at the moment and the money I gave her las week have not finished 😳😳

I have a very big phobia talking to crowd!! Today while I was presenting a project in front of the audience , I first started with a good introduction everybody dey feel my flows, suddenly I just stopped , all the thing in my head I forget it. Na only my heart Kon dey work, my soul left my body.

I was trembling in fear, my heart was beating more than normal, I end up fucking up the interview . they assisted me on the presentation, the thing really pain me, have always be running from talking to crowd, it finally catch up to me at old age!!!

Used me as a lesson, the problem you failed to address now will catch up with you later, No matter how run away from it.

My mood just spoil today.... it really pain me a lot!!! The funniest thing is that if I'm alone I will present it very well with British accent feeling like I'm on the top of the world😭😭😭😭

Hi guys,

This subject is important to me and I need some kinda mature advise and some funny ones as our custom is over here.

So, I have been in this house that I live for a while, everything has been going on smoothly. But, recently some guy moved in to the flat directly beside mine, this guy is single, and looks great and a lot of things changed.

Fast forward to the present day, this guy has this girl who comes around every weekend and sometimes during the week and I have been working from home throughout this month and I my ear is full really. They have sex almost every minute and the lady moans really loud, I can't get in between them na. Some times, if there is light, I play music very loud, to help protect the other neighbours from participating in their ceremony as their young teenagers also in the compound.

But guys, the frequent moaning sound is kinda tormenting. I am not single, I have a girl, we are practicing celibacy, but Omo!

- Learn to cook delicious meals
- Make sure you are respectful and kind towards men
- Learn to suck dick professionally without being asked
- Learn to fvck properly
- Accept the fact that any man willing to date you will cheat on you with prettier women
- Focus on raising your kids. A mother's love surpassess all looks and hopefully if your kids are as ugly as you are they won't mind.

My office hired a new manager and as I was standing by the side doing something he came up behind me put his hand on my lower back/waist and asked “how are you doing”. At that moment all my usual fire went out of the window and I just froze up. Actually there were 3 other senior staff around who must have seen it and warned him because thereafter, he only tapped my shoulder or shoulder blades (which I dont have any problem with).

Now a couple of days ago I had my hands full again doing something and this man passed behind me, held both sides of my waist very briefly and brushed against my back.

the whole thing was over in less than 5 seconds and I didn’t even see the person until I turned my head to see him watching me from the other side of the office.

bearing in mind this is a senior boss, I don’t feel I can shout or confront as normal so I have just been giving some stern/cold attitudes and stepping out of the way in a more exaggerated way whenever he passes by me. And he has started reciprocating the awkwardness which made it easier for me.

But how realistic is this? In another thread somebody wrote that his brother tried to get his female colleagues fired for rejecting his advances and I fear something similar may happen to me.

Its so irritating. This guy says he has a girlfriend so why not go home and touch her? WTF.

You need to activate your inner Kolo.

Next time he touches you inappropriately you should be ready to slap him severely so as to take him back to his default settings.
