Madeu: When you have a higher IQ and good working memory, you don't need to study for years to grasp the fundamentals and retain what you read!.
Always strive to eat nutritious food that can develop ya brain and constantly stimulate ya brain to be active. Bros what kind of IQ is that.. except a question is below your standard, you need enough time to grasp the concepts of each of the relevant topics in order to do well under exam conditions |

Ghost01: You guys should put paid to this your twisted ideas. I once wrote 10 courses in a semester as an undergraduate in a public university here in Nigeria and I had 8 A's and 2 B's when the results came out. The truth is that if the learning environment in our public schools is more encouraging, students would perform better than they do at present. Bros what did u study? You read for 10 papers in 2 weeks and got 8As and 2Bs? Well this girls own is more surprising because for a 3 semester span she has got just 2Bs the rest are As.. This means about 33As and 2Bs.. She also claims she is only among the top 10 in her class, do u even know what that means? And theres nothing like twisted idea here, its just a reasoning of common sense. |

A 200 level covenant uni intern in my firm showed me her results from Yr 1 to date and she has had just 2 Bs, the rest are As.. The funny thing is that she writes at least 10 papers per semester. I am not trying to discriminate private unis but it's almost impossible to get all As in 12 papers which she claimed to have started preparation in only about 2 weeks to exam.
Can someone enlighten me? Is that the questions are very cheap or that they simply dash marks.?
Note even tho i went to a federal uni, i will advise anyone to go to a private uni because the quality of education there is usually better, which is what matters the most. The only thing i don't understand is how people make As anyhow. |

Because of my passion for corporate finance, i have decided to create a whatsapp group on SFM.. It will be more of a question and answer group where you post about any difficulty you may be having in SFM, and myself and other group members will do our best to answer. Trust me this group will be worth a lot to you..
If you are interested, send me a PM so i can add you to the group. I believe by God's grace, everyone on this group will pass SFM November 2017 Diet.. This should not stop you from taking your normal lectures in a physical location as this group will be more of a support rather than a full time companion due to workloads and all..
Kindly notify your friends and colleagues to be part of this. Access to the group is completely free for the November diet. Helpful materials will also be shared where necessary to aid understanding.
Thanks. |
Properties › Re: What Is The Duration Of Annual Rent? by haibe(m): 8:01am On Jul 16, 2017 |
It depends on the agreement.. simple! Just be clear about what the terms are. If you are not satisfied with it, then look for another. If the agreement says the rent is from June 1 2017 to May 31 2018, then even if u move into the house june 31 2017, ur rent will still expire May 31 2018, which make your stay less than 12 months. Another person may negotiate an agreement based on when he moves into the apartment, so if he moves in june 31 2017, then his rent is due June 30 2018. |

malvisguy212: good one menxer.
op, if the decision you blame made lead you to hell, how can you blame God for that ? Ezekiel 33:11. He created man for His glory and for His pleasure. Now here's a question... If you're God, will you derive pleasure from the "love" your created gives you if in the first place, you have programmed them like robots to give you love (they have no choice but to love you)? I believe that you'll agree that "love" that's not freely given is not true love. God had to give man a free will so that He can experience true love from His created so that pleasure is achieved. He wanted man to love Him willingly. Free will allows man to love God willingly. That's why God gave us free will. Not doing so goes against reason. Its not freewill if i tell you this: "you can eat the burger if you like but if you do, i will punish you" the so called freewill in this statement is an illusion, there's actually no freewill because there is a restraining clause telling you implicitly not to eat the burger. That applies to the case of God and man.. No freewill at all. |

OtemAtum: This is a prescription for those whose religions are fueled through fear. From the DOCTUFOS OF truth, Oricha suggested how someone can reduce the amount of nightmares and death during sleeps.
Give it a try, don't fear anything. Don't fear this life, afterlife, accidents, sicknesses, hunger, etc and you will hardly experience any of them. where do u download the doctufus from ? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Were We Given Free Will Which Could Still Lead Us To Hell? by haibe(m): 2:17pm On Jul 02, 2017 |
This is one question you shouldn't bother about.. No man can answer it. Thats if there's actually a freewill.
But trust me the freewill we talk about in this context is only an illusion, we do not have any freewill. |

Soulsymbol99: I got my first car bk in 2010 n it has been on d road like everyday. I put @least 1500k(sometimes I full my tank) fuel like everyday. So calculate 1500k which is I knw is less than Wot I spend 2 30dayz a month dat will give u 45k den multiple by 12 (datz a year) it will give u 540,000k then multiple by 7years which will give u 45,360,000.did d math d oder day n am still in shock bt lands I bought r double d price nw. You would have spent money on transportation anyway, whether you bought a car or not. So consider this portion a commitment cost and therefore an irrelevant cost in determining whether or not buying the car is worthwhile. There are several benefits of owning your car that you cannot quantify.. If you had to catch up with public transport everyday you may have lost your job or business by now or they may just be ineffective due to poor timeliness. U may be robbed easily of your valuables because u dont have a car, rain may frustrate you.... Just think broadly about advantages and disadvantages before drawing your conclusion. |

EZEIGBO1OFIMO: That is a wild misconception Nigerians have about real estate, except you have choice properties, in exquisite highbrow location, it is not very easy to flip real estate for real profit, and some times even finding a buyer (especially in a recession ) would take a miracle. E.G, (Hypothetically) I bought a land at mowe for 2 million at the year 2000, that is 17 years ago. with an adjusted inflation of 10% a year, 2 million would be worth 10 million now, and adjusting currency value (considering that the naira is worth shit now in purchasing value), the adjusted value becomes 20 million (100% fall in currency value), adding property tax and land use charge amongst other things we arrive at 25 million. Except you sell the land for 30 million or more ( that is if, anyone would buy a mowe land for 30 million) you really have made no profit , even though in he eyes of a lay man, 30-2 =28. Help me tell them biko |
Properties › Re: Land Or Car...which Is More Important? by haibe(m): 7:49am On Jul 02, 2017 |
FromZeroToHero: Land appreciates while car depreciates. The land you bought 2million today will be sold at 10million in the next 5yrs while the car you bought 2million this year will be sold at 500k in the next 5years. This is not necessarily the case!! That you have a land doesn't mean it will appreciate, ask those that lost their land investment due to erosion, being taken over by water or other forms of destruction; such a land becomes impaired immediately the destruction occurs and the value drops speedily. Even if a destruction doesn't occur, inflationary adjustments, opportunity cost of the land investment (e.g lost interest if you simply invested in securities) may mean that your land investment is not worthwhile. Also, a car may not necessarily lose its value in 5 years time. Yes it depreciates physically due to wear and tear but its value may infact appreciate as several factors determine this. The reason accountants have an option to use revaluation model to value their fixed assets. A car can appreciate in value due to exchange difference for example.. Imagine you bought a Car for 2m last year when naira was 300/ $ and this year naira is now 500/ $.. Do you think the fair value of that car will necessarily be dropped? Infact it is more likely to appreciate. The current situation in Nigeria explains this perfectly, a Camry Mozu you bought 1.9m 2 years ago may be sold for 2.5m today. Just for education sake. |

chauvinist: Land is an asset
Car is a liability
Except you really NEED the car, buy a land first Car is a liability? Why that generalisation? A car is an asset ordinary whether you like it or not.. The only difference is that because land 'hardly' loses its value, it is more suitable as an investment property and worthwhile for your future. This however doesn't mean a car is not worthwhile, infact a car is a necessity, unless you have one already or get free ride of some sort. |

Now the guy that works in an office in V.I. earns say 100k per month...transport consumes like 25k monthly... cost for looking good to blend in monthly...5k, rechangre card inclusive... miscelleanous 5..approximately 35k per month ends up with 65k -ish monthly.. i lie ? this isn't better than driving keke or giving hair cut or running a stylist..oh..when i managed my sister'smini mart i made 40k per day on sales in just a tiny estate.... 160k monthly... she just sat down and was getting fat... Lol nice. Let me leave this talk because u are busy.. but trust me that 40k is just revenue, not the net profit on that product.. I get your point tho.. one love! |

Was just analysing the situation. My point in that post was simply that you dont appraise a business by its revenue only but also the costs attached to it. For a keke driver, it may take him 7 to 8 months to break - even before he now starts to make profit. I really dont think being a salary earner is worse than being a keke driver, especially when the salary is attractive and u incur little or no costs. |

connectpoint: Fantastic then.. 2k per day is good income bro... i'm speaking in terms of constrains like tfare, hold up... etc... i've not been held in holdup more than five times since almost 7 years... becos i control my resources/movement etc Well for me 2k per day is too small.. the barber will be getting 2k×30 = 60k every month as Revenue. He will incur overheads, e.g rents, electricity, fuel, maintenance expense... etc, which when amortised monthly may amount to at least 30k.. Therefore he has a Net Income of at most 30k monthly... This is too small bro. Not to mention the volatility of his earnings, since customers may not necessarily visit his shop whenever they need to cut their hair. |
